You could add this FemShep version of the Overlord Trailer I made a while back to the OP...

I'm probably in the minority but I love the bulky armor on my FemShep.  I can understand if you play another class like say the Adept and you prefer light armor on her but my Shep is a soldier class.  The armor looks pretty awesome on her.

It would be cool if they went the ME1 route and had the lighter armors
for the other classes and the heavier armors for Vanguards/Soldiers..etc.

You're not alone.

Whenever I draw my FemShep, I always bulk up her armor. Again, she's a soldier - so it fits.

Femshep version of the Maleshep art on the Collectors' Edition, demonstrating the armor-bulking-up I mentioned...

In a way, I think BW took a step backwards with regards to material featuring FemShep in ME2. For ME1, I remember there was a promotional image of FemShep in full N7 armour directing Wrex. It was only small, but at least it was something. There was absolutely nothing like this with ME2, which is disappointing.

One thing I did notice, was in my guide book, all of the images feature FemShep in the ME2 guide book I have. In my ME1 guide book she is on the back cover, but no where else.  I was happy to see her in the ME2 book.

Love it, MDK. Soldiers FTW!!!!!!!

*ahem*

Though I can understand wanting lighter armors if you play a different class.

I wasn't aware of this...nice!

I didn't get the guide book for ME2.

I think i'd have no problem with heavy armor if everyone wore something appropriate for battle. But heels, open skin, really? That's disturbing

Depends on the game for  me.  I usually just google any time I have a problem, but for ME1 I have 2.  It was an accident, but I decided to keep them both.  One is the 2-book set with poster and art book, which I geekly haven't opened.  For ME2 I just got the normal one and ME 3, haven't decided yet.   I like looking at the art work and reading what the developers have to say about the characters.

Yup, FemShep is featured extensively in the ME2 strategy guide. I love it!

Also, I much preferred having my Shepard wear her light armour. She's an Adept, and as such is very graceful and elegant with her biotics. I feel that her armour should be very sleek to reflect this. It doesn't suit her to be wearing bulky armour in ME2. That's how I feel.

Remember the dress from the Kasumi DLC? It's great... Until she starts to walk. :P

Yeah...

I guess it's b/c she's a soldier and was never taught how to walk in heels?

She walks perfectly fine in heels during cutscenes...

It seems that being controlled by the player induces the manwalk!

I think she means the fact that Shepard is in the military, an is not attacking the Soldier class specifically!

Adept FemSheps are the sexiest, however. ;-)

Eeek!  Don't hurt me!  I meant 'soldier' in general, not the specific class...adepts can't walk in heels either.

I'm glad someone started this thread. I've played through ME1 and ME2 many times and I think my femShep/dudeShep ratio is somewhere around 85/15.

I love Jennifer Hale's voicework - if I had to put a finger on it, I'd say it's the small things - the little quirks she manages to give femShep, like when you ask the merc on Korlus if you should just take your medigel and keep walkin'.

Plus, when you do select a renegade option, femShep sounds *scary*. As she should, as opposed to slightly comical, which is how that kind of dialogue usually comes off in games.

I do wish BioWare hadn't dropped the ball on the animation rig in ME2, though. First time I'd finished the Kasumi DLC, I went to talk to Garrus right after, and that scene was suddenly like it was taken from Basic Instinct

As for the armor designs, you can customize it a little bit, but some more light armors for the support classes would be nice. I completely agree that if your Shep's a soldier, it makes sense for her to be in the heavy-duty armor.
