Delerius Jedi already answered that. I'm not going to repeat it. I'll post a mugshot of Avery instead.

Nice to see Avery face-to-face (as it were) after reading "Virtue".
I'm not sure if this is anything, but I actually liked how they playfully referenced the fact that Shepard's gender is player-determined in the comic Redemption. At some point, Feron (I believe) mentioned something about Shepard's corpse being so messed up that he couldn't even tell if it was a man or a woman.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
Or, at least acknowledge the fact that Commander Shepard's gender is not predefined, and it is possible to play Shepard as a woman. I understand their desire to market Sheploo as their iconic, Marcus Fenix-esque figure. However, it couldn't hurt to include FemShep in ME3's promotional material.

It's not much, but I personally found it a good tiny bit of acknowledgment.

IIRC, it is actually Tazzik who mentions that it's hard to tell if Shepard is male or female, but that's not the point.
I agree with what you're saying, Fiery. If greater and more extensive acknowledgment of the fact that Shepard's gender gender is player-defined were ever implemented, I'd love it. I can forgive the mistake in LotSB, in which one of the Shadow Broker dossiers refers to a FemShep as male, because it's just that: a mistake.
I do think that FemShep's presence in the Mass Effect marketing may become more prominent. Call me optimistic.

Yeah, mine's gonna take a little longer. And by little I mean lots. I haven't had much time in the evenings this week so I'm still messing around with facecodes and headmorphs, haven't even started on the probably 80+ hours of actual painting yet.
Question: Should the background for this be just a rather generic, glamour-shot kind of background like the Battlestar cast photo itself? Should I set it someplace like the Normandy or Zakera Ward? Backgrounds take a buttload of extra time, so I'm not entirely sure which course I should take.

Will you be posting updates in this thread or on another site? I'm real curious as to how you will design the piece. Will it be a combination of painting and photoshop manipulation?

And then I'm reminded of an idea for a TV commerical in which Shep is detailing thier profession, and as they're walking, Shep shifts from male to female as they read thier lines. From Meer to Hale, and back again, so on and so forth.
Bascially showing the audience that Shepard can be anyone you want.

I'd lean towards a more generic backdrop to emphasize the focus on the femsheps. Maybe a generic location but with Mass Effect themed architecture. Since we're talking BSG this is a good example of a generic space that still looks like it's somewhere on the ship.
For mine, I ended up using a space in the cargo hold link
we can dream can't we? lolELE08 wrote...

Not unless you're filing a discrimination lawsuit...at county court. About a video game. It's next Mon so hopefully I'll just sit around for a couple hours and they won't call me.

How did you get her face so nice and rounded with face 7? Whenever I try to do that, Lia always develops this really weird "slope" on the right side of her face, that seems like it curves inwards from her ears towards her nose. It is driving me absolutely up the wall that I can't get rid of it
