I tried to have Kallen with a different hairstyle, but the ponytail just fits her. I did change angela's hair because I stopped liking how I made her in me 1 during the Feros mission so I knew I was gonna tweak her in me2 and I gave her Dr. Chakwas hairstyle and turned her blonde.Sialater wrote...
So... did anyone decide they wanted different hair in ME2? Avery originally had that high bun with platinum blonde hair. I decided that Cerberus didn't have time to grow it all out and dye it back, so she's back to her original chestnut mop in ME2. That's right in ME1, Avery was a bottle blonde.
(On an entirely different note, I had to rework Meg's face to take off the make up because the blush made her look like she should be working Afterlife. And not as security.)

DRUNK Kyrie is happy...until morning. But yes.
@ sia, yes, i did a few iterations. this last import, however, i merely scaled back the blush intensity. it seemed a bit much and when i went in with the gibbed save editor, it was up to a full 100% (value = 1). i dialed it back to .65 and that seemed to do the trick.
i swear the blush is all goofed up for me2. there is no way that was the same color i chose in me1. it make importing a little strange
oh, and @ ELE, i, like chignon, am trying not to squee, also.

The eye colours and the blush are totally different in ME2 compared to ME1, they're not even remotely the same. All the eye colours are darker in ME2 and brighter and ME1 with the reverse being true for the blush.

Back in ME1 Morgan had her hair tightly pulled back in a ponytail, both to keep the hair out of her eyes when sniping and to comply with Alliance regulations. ME2, however...

Morgan "let her hair down" in ME2, both to symbolize how the Council and the Alliance have cut all ties with her and she's effectively "gone rouge" and because, let's face it, it's an improvement over the ponytail.
(Edit: Don't have any screens of Morgan back from ME1, at least not yet)

I thought only paragons could have romances (I was reading reviews before I got the game so I misunderstood) so I ended up not enjoying my first character because there had been times where I wanted to pick a renegade response. So I created a second charater and made her the visual opposite. Bleached blonde hair (ME1 made blonde hair look like there were black roots), black eyebrows to indicate her real hair color, black lipstick to be a punk and then I gave her orange eyeshadows and hint of color in her cheeks. It looked really good and I really enjoyed the character. I have no screenshots to share since I didn't have fraps back then.adneate wrote...

BUT when I imported her into ME2, I was floored at how clownish she looked. Since there wasn't a way to tweak her or to even get the right code for imported characters, I just went ahead and played her as she was.

Decided that I just couldn't stand how weird she looked and wiped it all off. SO MUCH BETTER. I even went back to ME1 and played her this way without any make-up as well. I miss the black lipstick though!

I use the Face Size and Jaw sliders to match the jawline with the cheekbones so that it's one clean line from the bottom of the chin all the way up to the eyes. It's hard to explain what I do because it's almost second nature to me by now and I can take any design or character and create that clean uniform jawline with the sliders.
Are there any visual tweaks you use? Because I honestly cannot really tell how changing the cheekbone slider affects her face when I'm in the character creator. I am guessing that is the root of my troubles. I just can't tell where the cheekbones are, when I'm working.

I see what you mean. I never thought of it like that. It comes across as a look of concentration to me. I definitely dig that they're not perfectly groomed. The random stray hairs gives character, imo!scampermax wrote...

Edit: Here's Danielle Version 4 in ME1. I've completed my re-work of her and ported it back to Mass Effect 1, she's a bit more unique looking now.
