Yay!
I hope Kathryn is given the chance to tell Cerberus to take a hike in ME3. That's the nicest way of putting it. As for the Alliance, she feels alienated by them too but hopes they will come to their senses. Something tells me they really don't trust her now after joining up with Cerberus and the Hackett email in LotSB.
Shai hates Cerberus and the Alliance equally, hopefully her
girlfriend's new resources will be all she needs. She wants to tell
both of them to get bent.
The focus needs to be put back on Shepard...not the cool new characters and gameplay like we got for ME2. If someone wants to create a thread like this, I'd definitely visit. I feel the writers and devs need to know that we play Mass Effect for Shepard's story, first and foremost.

Hopefully with their new gameplay mechanics down and their bloated cast of characters they can start telling Shepard's story again in ME3. Plus with it being the last game in the trilogy how about not catering solely to those who never played a Mass Effect game.

Colleen very worried that she'll get sidetracked in ME3 again, or that she forgot to feed the fish before going through the Omega 4 Relay!

With fanfiction.
Seriously, I took to fanfiction because the lack of cohesion bothered me SO MUCH.
It was either the scenario I came up with, something roughly equivalent to that, or space hamsters are controlling her brain.

"The Color of Shepard's Panties" is, quite honestly, what got me hooked on ME fanfics. It's a great one.

^hmm... that sounds highly negative. i
do LOVE ME2. it's just that when I get to the end, I realize that every
monumental or emotional or "h*ll yeah!" reaction was me, the
player, reacting - not Shepard reacting. that was not true of ME1. and
what i loved mass effect for in the first place was blurring the line
between the player, the avatar, and the character of femshep. mass
effect 2 had its moments, but they were few and far between.

Edit:
Fave desserts? Something tells me both Shai and Kathryn would love cheesecake. I mean, who doesn't? I have the cutest image in my head of Liara feeding Shai cheesecake. Shai doesn't smile much but I think that would make her smile.
I'm weird.

There's a good question! What areas of the game did your reaction like that match your femShep's reaction?
Your avatar is Liara if you reject inviting her aboard, right?jlb524 wrote...

Upon seeing the baby Reaper...we both facepalmed hard.
More seriously, probably meeting Liara again for the first time on Illium...that was tough. I had a sad, and so did my Shepard.

I think she gets a similar look if you don't invite her aboard as well. In any case, I want to give her a hug!

If you could go back and re-write this, how would you show Cerberus as a "shades of gray" organization?
Not sure if that's possible with the established backstory from ME1. They are basically the reason Shepard's (or at least my Shepard's) life is in the horrible place it is now. Not very gray. I have to say though, talking to Jacob and Miranda, the two of them haven't had the opportunity to sit on the outside and see what Cerberus is capable of. That explains why it's so easy for TIM to just say "they went rogue" whenever something is unearthed and have his people believe him. Hell, half the crew doesn't even know what is even up with Cerberus. (Ken and Gabby, Gardner) The problem is, Shep had plenty of time to see their true colors, and really doesn't get the opportunity to express this in-game.
Just my take on this.

Also, maybe this has been brought up before, but for some reason I have the impression that femSheps (and those who play her) are typically more pro Alliance or at least more anti Cerberus than her male counterparts (and those who play him.) Thoughts?
