Meghan's a huge fan of M&M's or their 22nd century version, at least. Being a biotic, calories don't matter, after all. She's also a big fan of flan. (Common desert in Hispanic influenced parts of Texas -- She's from Houston.)

Avery's favorite desert would be cream puffs. Her mom used to make them back on Mindoir. It was a day long ordeal, but worth every second of wrestling with that flaky dough.

MOAR questions about Femshep! (can't get enough of the unique FemSheps here!)
Most embarassing thing you think your FemShep has ever done? or ever said? Or both! Doesn't matter.

@Reverie: Oh no, no offense taken! See where you're coming from! I'll just...have to commission some artwork from an artist friend of mine...because she loves me. xD

Oh, if anyone's interested, I uploaded Cam's profile to the FemShep group page. I just have to find a good picture of her to put at the top now... Image IPB

It's not so much that they are "iconic". It's more of which Sheps are popular (and god please no one take offense to that).

I don't think that's offensive, but the reason people use the word "iconic" is because those femSheps have something that makes them stand out from the typical rank and file of other femSheps.  With Kathryn it's that perpetual smile, with Teagan it's her eyes and that flawlessly smooth skin ELE gave her with a custom texmod, for Noah it's just the overall cast of her features which is totally unlike any other femShep out there, with Kyrie it's her blond hair and broad features and that quirky little grin she gets every so often.  They all have something about them that makes them recognizable, that makes them stick in the memory for the long term.

Kaylee and Firefly are always good for the imagination.
And Ella is another chocolate-addict. Fudge brownies. With real whipped cream. Like, she used to whip her own heavy cream back on Mindoir whipped cream.
She is also a fresh fruit fan, as it reminds her of when they grew their own, rather than the many years in space since enlisting. Though, really, she just likes food. Proper grown food, rather than 'repurposed proteins' or the Alliance version of MRE's. Cause I'm sure those things are still varying degrees of nasty. At least some of them, anyways.

See, this.  I'd expect that for anyone who spends a lot of time in space, the actual treat would be fresh produce.  Unless you're lucky enough to be a quarian with their giant garden ships and mobile space stations, you're going to be subjected to a rather daunting array of processed, dehydrated, freeze-dried, irradiated, vaccuum-packed imitations of real food, because that's the only kind of stuff that will store for long periods.  All the stuff that'll keep you alive, but is generally horrible for good long-term nutrition.  Not that you have much choice, though, I mean you're not going to be able to flag down the local farmer in his tramp frieghter on the way to the space farmer's market every weekend.  I'd imagine that for Jessica, as with any spacer, it's not desserts or pastries but fresh-grown foods (of any kind) that are the real treats.  Protein paste gets old real fast.

Just thought I'd bring this to your attention if you haven't seen it all ready.

(FemShep tries to get with erry female on the Normandy. Hilarity insues? Kinda NSFW, but also kind not really.)

@Sable: and it's true! All of those characters have something unique about them that makes me recall them. I'm basically a fanboy to each of them ,at least a little bit.

Well, Meghan, Alexis and Ella (and my Avery) are iconic to me and to Sapphy and Jilly. But, we haven't been hanging out here too long and don't expect y'all to know them as well as we do. And it's hard to fill out their profiles since to do so is to give spoilers for the fics they star in.

@ chig - THAT's what it was. b/c she isn't wearing eyeliner it threw me. but i like that about noah's face.

dessert? i don't see kyrie as having much of a sweet tooth (unlike me). she's just a straight-up coffee addict. embarrassing moments? um... too many to mention. what sia said - it's in the fic - spoilers would not be too much fun.

Exactly, Sage. Hell, there isn't a day goes by when Meg doesn't put her foot in her mouth around Garrus... but it's in the fic.

Thank you, sagequeen! I like that about her as well - it makes her look a bit more "innocent" and I just never saw Noah as a full make-up kind of girl. Image IPB

Sky, I really enjoyed reading about Cameron - especially the "three fun facts" and the story behind her scars. She's a very well thought out character. Image IPB

Madeline is very fond of her Great-Grandmother's (7 times removed) Shortbread. It is a 307 year old Shepard family recipe and Shepard "Christmas Time" tradition that her Grandmother Maggie Rose Shepard (1904 - 1993) continued after she and her family immigrated to the U.S. in 1912, aboard the RMS Lusitania. Madeline used to help her mother make the "Shepard Family Shortbread" as a child and learned the recipe by heart to pass on the family tradition. It has been several years since Maddy has made her famous Shortbread, mostly because it is very time consuming.....and real butter is a little hard to get in space sometimes.

She also loves fresh strawbarrys and Gravenstien apples (Her dad had a Gravenstien Tree on Mindor)......she is also a sucker for both Apple and Rubarb Pie :D

The only club here is the femShep club.  :)  We don't have cliques here, or at least I haven't figured them out if there are, and from everything I've seen, everyone here is welcome and appreciated.  If you want your Shepard to be recognized, just share her!  Besides their unique features, there are also just a large number of screenshots and posts featuring the characters people recognize easily.  Share the things about your femShep that makes her memorable, and people will remember her.

Well, those of us with XBoxs are a tad limited in what we can share. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing everyone else's Sheps. Besides, then I can beg my computer playing friends to give me pics.

Well, believe it or not, before Morgan decided she wanted to join the Alliance military she didn't want to follow in her parent's footsteps. She wanted to dance. Ballet, to be precise. When she was younger there wasn't a lot to due aboard Alliance ships as a young girl except "try not to be underfoot" as her mother put it, so most of the time she watched old vids. The ones of ballet dancing were just the ones that caught her eye. As a result Morgan isn't "classically trained", but she's taught herself the best she could while confined to ship corridors with only videos as reference.

As cute and endearing as all of this is, it actually is relevant to the question. Every so often, when she's particularly calm or the mood strikes her, Morgan still dances behind closed doors. However, there were a few "incidents" back in her early career where she drifted out of the showers in such a mood dripping wet and stark naked, completely unaware that she had done so right in front of other members of her company.

Oh, and thanks for the reminder about the profile, Sky. I haven't written Morgan's yet. I think I'll do that now.

I'd say going up to talk to Jacob after a little party with Kasumi's bar is pretty high up there :?

At least that's how I explain her falling all over him.

Also, receiving that picture frame from Anderson.  The one in the embassy? It was a gift Kaidan was going to give her, but then the Normandy disintegrated. :crying: Anderson handed it to her when she showed up with a bit of a strange look in his eye.  Like he knew everything.  ;)

I really do like to mess with canon.  Sorry

In game?  ... maybe the Council meeting with Saren.

Shep: "The only way you could have known that was if you were there!"
Saren: *eyeroll* "I got all his paperwork after he died."
Council: ". . ."
Udina: *aside* "WTF, Shepard?"
Anderson: *Facepalm*
Shep: "... it works in vids."

Her scar is an embarassing story.  Which is why it never has the same story twice.  :innocent:

It does actually feel kinda cliquey.  *shrug*  And a lot of emphasis is placed on the uniqueness of your FemShep... even if it's not meant that way.

Not that I'm bothered by it personally, but I can still see it.

Catching up on the thread:

@Sable- WOW that's coming along nicely. Can't wait to see the finished product.

@ the questions: Kallens' most embarassing moment was probably gettind turned down by Samara (since she's a renegade she got the "There is no connection between us, once I am done serving you I might hunt you down")

The most embarassing thing Damara has ever said. It was in response to finding out that her friend was an EOD technician. "So, the odds of a long-term relationship are kinda slim?"

Most embarassing thing she's done? First year at the academy, she had gotten into this habit of getting out of the shower, toweling off and, since her room door was right next to the laundry chute, tossing the towel into the chute and quickly ducking into her room. Worked fine until she went to the shower before her roommate left and locked the door. So she had to go down 4 flights of stairs to the front desk and ask them to let her in... with nothing but a washcloth and socks.

I'm very sorry you feel that way.  Let me go out of my way to say that's it's nice to have you here.  I think everyone should feel welcome.  I think sometimes the flurries of screenshots, videos, etc. tend to overshadow things.  We're all here because of our love for FemShep.  What matters is that you love your character.  Some of us are just a lot more loud and flashy about it then others.

@Reverie -- totally get the outsider feeling. Been there (still there in some threads, actually! =p) and the fact that I can't remember who the regulars are in this thread or whatever tells me that not everyone is going to remember me either. This is pretty much the only thread where I do feel comfortable sharing screenshots of my femshep because it's all about celebrating our inner femshep and there's no judging here. (I don't share them elsewhere because I don't know if she falls in the category of "looks like every other femshep out there" and I don't need someone getting critical of her code. She's near and dear to me, I've never played a character that looked or felt as epic as her so she's special to me dammit!)

Keep posting in here -- that's an order! And have you shared screenshots of your character already? I'd love to see them. (Apologies if you already have -- I already have a hard time keeping names and faces straight.)

^_^
