I get what you're trying to say. And I wasn't putting those shep down either.

I guess I just feel a little bit of an outsider here because I can never be a part of the "club"

The only club here is the femShep club.  :)  We don't have cliques here, or at least I haven't figured them out if there are, and from everything I've seen, everyone here is welcome and appreciated.  If you want your Shepard to be recognized, just share her!  Besides their unique features, there are also just a large number of screenshots and posts featuring the characters people recognize easily.  Share the things about your femShep that makes her memorable, and people will remember her.

It does actually feel kinda cliquey.  *shrug*  And a lot of emphasis is placed on the uniqueness of your FemShep... even if it's not meant that way.

Not that I'm bothered by it personally, but I can still see it.

Really?  Hmm.  I wonder what we can do to correct that.  It would suck if someone ended up feeling left out.

I mean... it's the same with any group, there will always be people who stand out or who are more recognizable, but that's just the natural progression of things.  I know this thread isn't exclusionary, everyone here is friendly and civil and fun.  Still... maybe we need to work on that somehow?  Or I'm probably just overthinking this.

Just so everyone knows, if I didn't get your femShep in the painting I'm working on, or I didn't contact you for her, it's not personal!  Thirteen figures in one picture is a ton of work already.  I had to pick and choose.

edit:  Whoops, top of page screenie!  I forget if I posted this one before or not, but here's some goofiness.

Well, the only thing I can think of is that not everyone comments on everyone's screenshots. But... I don't feel left out. Shouldn't this be discussed in group so we can get back to FemShep's awesomeness?

@Sable -- I once thought about doing a fun drawing of the regulars in the dwarf thread on the DA side and started to jot down names and save any screenshots they shared, but there were just way too many people and I became overwhelmed with the prospect. Way too daunting. My hat's off to you for attempting to do this.

EDIT: Bugger, ninja'd by like three different people.

Well, while I'm editing this post anyway, a quick plug. All of the screen of Morgan I have are courtesy of Darziel, at least until I get a capture card and can take screen of her off of my Xbox myself. Be sure to say hi to him and tell him how awesome he is if you run into him on the forums ^^

Since I last night finished ME1 with Amy I think I'll post few pics of her again. :D

Oh, and there was some odd question about the desserts. I think Jennifer would just love whipped cream and strawberries with Liara. I think all of my FemSheps would like that tho.:wub:

Oh, right, the pics. :o

Amy didn't need to think long, but she did think if she should free the Rachni Queen.
Image IPB

Releasing the queen.
Image IPB

She's confident that her decision was a right one. She's not going to genocide a speacies.
Image IPB

How did we end on Virmire so fast and why am I pointing Wrex with an shotgun. I can't hit anything with it. "Adepts pointing Wrex with shotgun since 2183!"
Image IPB

There you go. :) There are more pics from her in ME1, but I'll think I'll start to post her from ME2 next. :)

hmm...femshep thread should not be a clique thread. i think sometimes this thread moves so fast, though, that people skip over posts and only read certain ones. i know i do that. and it is kind of sad when you make a comment or post a screenshot and think "ooh! this will contribute to our femshep love" and the convo goes on around you about something you care little about and no one notices what you said or posted.

and i think the screenshots can be unequal, as the xbox brothers and sisters have less chance to share there. and while i think the femshep group shots are awesome, simply by picking some people others will feel left out. i don't think it's that they shouldn't happen, but there you go.

um... yeah. that's my thoughts. so i'm sorry people have felt that way.

One of my favorite shots in ME1. I like how I caught Kaidan in mid-fire in the background. That only happened a couple other times in ME2. I'm really tempted to reinstall ME1 and play again because I've seen people get great screenshots with something called the "flycam?" Is it terribly complicated to do? (Do I just google the word "flycam" or is there a thread that explains how to do this?)

Ah-hah, I found one I'm pretty sure I haven't put up here yet.

"Villains, I say to you now... knock off all that evil!"

I've noticed, especially while using a bunch of other peoples' face codes in prep for the group portrait, that every single Shepard tends to look almost exactly the same in this shot.  They look far different than they normally do, and something about the eyes makes them all look like clones of each other.  It's really wierd.

I really like that second shot, your Shep looks badass and gorgeous at the same time.

@cgrimm

Your Shep has very expressive eyes. And they're green... I love green.

@sable: I love that nose. 1st version of Ella had that nose. But with the french twist hair style she had in ME1, it made her forehead look way too receding.

And, I sometimes wish I could finagle Ella screenshots, but I enjoy seeing everyone else's too much to mind. :) And I definitely will always happily talk about her.

I originally went with blue, but every single one I've made previously had blue eyes.  I decided to mix it up, and I really like how it...err SHE turned out!

Yeah, I can emphasize with that one a bit a lot, but hey, that's just the way it works. And when posts of mine do get noticed? Awesome discussions are usually had, so in a way it evens out.

Bolded for truth. Unfortunately for me most of the activity takes place when I'm in snoozieland. I'm an extreme introvert anyway so I have to force myself to post at all.

that's something I've noticed in several places in the game. All 3 of my Sheps will look the same.

That is exactly how I felt some time ago when suggesting that Rynluna limit the screenshot count per post. I felt that some of the comments/questions I posted were quickly being ignored and/or swamped by so many screenshots, particularly ones that were part of a "comic".

I don't post often but when I do, it doesn't hurt to have some acknowledgement. Over time my views have changed a bit regarding the screenshot limits as a lot of the members that participate in this thread have made posts that were more than just pictures. So long as we don't veer into any sort of competition related to which Shepard is best (and hell no to "beauty" contests!), it's all good.

Stumbled across a couple of femShep art-things on Holly Conrad's facebook.  Here's the links:

femShep and Garrus on Halloween
femShep ME1 fanwallpaper

Not sure who made these, but they should be seen on here nonetheless.

I never got the clique-ish feeling.
It is as sagequeen said, the thread moves fast and some posts are simply skipped over - I don't think it's done intentionally.

She's very expressive and with really unique features, the Renegade scars suit her. I love her big green eyes and, oddly enough, her nose. Image IPB

The screenshots are what kind of what get to me, as I can't take as many pics with the 360, but I still love the thread and I still love all the FemSheps on here.

I just wish that I could share more of Cam or any other Shep I come up with (I've got the beginnings of a blonde Earthborn Sentinel Shep in my head right now.)

Suffice to say that I still love what you ladies (and the few guys on here like me) are doing with your Shepards.

Just out of curiosity, how much does a capture card cost? :P

I DO NOT want to bring anyone down or make anyone feel left out or anything. NOT my intention.

I love FemShep, pure and simple. She's a strong central female character and I love the fact that erryone can come up with a unique character all thier own. Erryone's screeshots include Chig's, yours, Jamie's,
and anyone else I missed, serve to bring your character out more and flesh them out wonderfully.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go potentially waste a bunch of hours either tweaking Cam's face or making another playthrough!

@ gilsa - nice shots! and yeah, sable ninjaed me (again!). flycam is pretty easy to do once you've set it up. one thing i didn't know how to do was enable slo-mo and pause on me1. so i didn't give instructions for that.

@ van, @ flies - okay, good to know i'm not the only one who has seen that. and i fall guilty of screenshot overload.   i'm been trying to hold back, since i think it can all blend together after a while.

Her name is Sam.
And if you call her Samantha, she'll break your nose:devil:

Seriously, though, she's more of a paragon than a renegade, so those scars are fading...:(

I know thw "outsider" feeling, but I don't really get that here.   Madeline is NOT the most "unique" FemShep here....not by a long shot, but that is what I love about this thread...EVERYONE has a FemShep that IS unique in their own special way.   Maddy has always been "welcomed" every time I have posted a screen shot of her, I just don't get to post allot of them because I am confined to the ol' 360.....I have relied on the gracious ELE to take a few for me in the past, like this one which is one of my faves:

..Makes me want a PC version and "flycam" :crying:

See, I would ask for screenshots, but then I'd feel like I'm sort of intruding on people. Plus, my facecode for Cam decides to be all wonky and not give me what I want. So meh, that options out the door.

Meh, that's life! *goes back to the CC*
