I don't know if that was intentional, or just an overlord glitch. but i cannot get over how the person on shep's right happens to look at her *ahem* every time. it *would* be garrus in my playthrough.
i can just hear the "what are you....?" "what is he....?" going on in tali's head
I never noticed that before!

My current favourite ME2 squad.

I really like the colours in that one.

As usual, grossly overestimated the amount of time I would need to finish a project. Did I say next week? I meant today.
Here's my initial final draft of the femshep group 'photo.'
Download for full size 3858x2000.
Thank you to everyone who let me borrow their femsheps. I'm missing quite a few really good ones from this thread including some of my favorites, but decided 8 was a good number for the layout.
From left to right: Kallen (ADLegend21); Jessica (Sable Phoenix); Noah (Chignon); Kyrie (sagequeen); Kathryn (rynluna); Holly (Aislinn Trista); Teagan (that's mine!); Madeline (Mr.Vakarian)
Hope you guys like it.
This is awesome!

Since Calla_S was brave enough to mention the Jacob romance I will join in saying that if you actually manage to get past the initial Cougar!Shep and ignore The Priiiiize, some of the stuff in-between is actually quite good. Jacob's a good guy, he's got no ulterior movies and he's not really used to caring about others in a more than professional way. I like the fact that he actually dares to ask Shepard if she actually has something she wants to get off her chest, and fesses up to the fact that hey - he wants her around, and he needs her.
I just always end up coming back to tragedy because that whole romance reeks of someone writing it slow-paced and then someone else comes in and goes: "No, it's too slow, make it more EXCITING!" and then we get...yeah the aforementioned abominations
I actually like Jacob so while I've yet to finish an ME2 playthrough with him as Shepard's LI, I do make a point of friendzoning him because hey - he's actually a good guy.
Oh and, slight sidenote - are the instructions for removing the excess weapons from Shepard and company in ME1 available somewhere? Adeneate's shots of Danielle showing how to rock with a pistol are just awesome and I wish I could do that.
And lastly - do we have instructions written up for equipping the classic N7 armor in ME2 somewhere? I feel like I'm hopelessly behind ya'll when it comes to modding, given that I only just figured out flycam.

One weird theory I had was that there's a chip in your hand that allows for the holographic interphase to appear, but then removal would be a bit more tiresome and painful and wouldn't fit as well.
I'm sort of nitpicky about these kinds of details. And how would one characterize a Sentinel in terms of power? Would the focus be more the biotics or the tech prowess? Or both?
Sage, how did you characterize Kaidan's level of ability when writing your series? I know he's an accomplished biotic, but there's no mention of his tech or medical skills.

I admit that FemShep was really made by Ms. Hale's talents as a VA. It raised the bar on what I had expected from previous BioWare games.

Yes, true. Though, the one good thing about groups is that you get to know people a whole lot better since you can go off topic in groups.

no mention in my fic? i thought i had... hm... no mention in my post, yeah. um, that's sort of for the kaidan thread, but short answer is i take him to be a field medic, field technician, and strong, stable biotics, very strong for humans, almost as strong as your average asari. this is me going off of what he says and his powers vs. asari. he seems to be focused on the combat end of thing, even though he's a tech geek.
and since that's a little OT, i take it that my femshep is tech literate, but that's about it. she was always focusing too much on learning to deal with her biotic powers to learn tech. i was tempted to make her a sentinel in ME2 (me2 sentinels are SO cool) but i cannot give up singularity. it is my favorite evar.

oh, another post, b/c i was going to say i asked chignon and ele about this to get instructions. there are instructions on the Modding is possible thread that basically say "use my .ini file" - but as i hate to use something without knowing what's in it, i dug around until i could hack my ini file for myself. this inspires me to write it up, if such a thing might be useful. i'll PM you what i have so far.
it was the breather mask that was the tricky one

I'm the thread's originator and I can never keep up anymore. Sometimes my posts get ignored too but it's because of the thread moving fast like others have said. Sometimes I say something uninteresting and that's okay too. Some people have some concerns they don't want to share here, well they can always be brought up in our group or privately via PM.
Often times I will see a post or a screenshot someone has shared that I really like but I don't comment in the thread for whatever reason. So even if a post is 'ignored' I don't think it necessarily means someone somewhere doesn't appreciate it being shared. I guess my point is, I want everyone to feel comfortable sharing their femsheps, art, or words. I love seeing new stuff in here. The last thing I want is for people to feel like this place has become clique-ish and not share because of that. Just my 2c.

I wish I had known this ages ago. Using the PC console add these weapons
Handgun: giveitem self 1 gethgun_drone manf_hk_weap
Assault Rifle: giveitem self 1 gethgun_hopper manf_hk_weap
Sniper Rifle: giveitem self 1 gethgun_sniper manf_hk_weap
Shotgun: giveitem self 1 gethgun_shotgun manf_hk_weap
@kommanderkat - thank you thank you! I wish I could have included everyone's femshep. that--would have been a lot of femsheps...hopefully I covered all the major archetypes at least. Girly shep, tomboy shep, badass shep, classy shep, sneezy grumpy...

I also like the idea of her having a bit of biotic abilities, as that was the reason she was able to avoid jail time when she was 17 (she got shipped off to the Alliance instead). I have decided to just have her keep switching between Engineer (with a biotic bonus talent) and Sentinel, as I like playing both classes with her.

Rather than click the "next page" button you can actually input a page number in the web address bar on top (looks like .....&p=2). I noticed this some time ago and found it to be real helpful. Sorry if I'm pointing out the obvious to anyone and yeah, the way Group discussion are set-up only discourages people from posting.

Just curious, Sage!
I have to agree with you on that. The Sentinels REALLY got overhauled in ME2. They still sort of retain that 'Jack of all trades, master of some' theme, as well as that sort of inpentetrable fortress, as well as a support class.
I'm tempted to remake Cam as a Sentinel, or make a new Shep. Not quite sure yet. They've got some good powers and one of the tech armor's upgraded forms boosts power damage output. Coupled with a few of the upgrades as well as the class power and a Sentinel!Shep's pretty much a tank that can dish out as much as she can take.
And apparently tech armor resets the cooldowns for party-member powers? I think the ME wiki has more info on that.
Anyone here play through the games as a Sentinel?

I've never noticed that happening in my game...hmmmm.
The Sentinel is great, though. I like to mix between playing a tank, who throws on tech armor and goes CQC, and playing a caster, who hangs back and uses her powers to remove barriers or set off Warp Explosions. It's nice if you find yourself getting bored with one play-style.

When I first brought my Vanguard from ME1 to ME2, I came very close to switching to Sentinel just because I didn't quite understand Charge, and I didn't have Warp. It just couldn't quite sell myself on her suddenly having all those other tech abilities. Of course, once I understood the awesomeness of Charge, it was actually the best fit ever (even to the point of losing Warp).
I'll eventually have a Sentinel though.

From the ME wiki article on Tech Armor.
Which tech armor upgrade do you consider the most useful? Which class upgrades? In your headcanon, as Sage puts it, do you have her talk tech with Tali and Garrus? Just curious, jlb.
