Oddly enough, Horizon itself never really bothered me. Alexis had more problems dealing with the email than she had with the "rejection" on Horizon. (She after all was too busy processing the fact that Kaidan wasn't just abducted by nasty Collectors to be particluarly eloquent in that instance.)

Plus, hug!

I love playing as a Sentinel in ME2. Never quite got around to it in ME1, but switched an infiltrator over just to try it out for my first run-through. Was awesomesauce. And yes, she so hung out w/Garrus and Tali and chatted tech as soon as they showed up in-game. (For all Miranda's technically a sentinel too, she never felt comfortable geeking out with her. Miranda just doesn't seem like a proper tech who enjoys playing with stuff, more someone who forced herself to learn a few skills 'cause they'd be useful.)

And then I imagined 'technobabble' dirty talk for a FemShep/Tali romance, and it was the most hilarious thing.

A techie FemShep, be they Engineer, Sentinel or Infiltrator, could have some pretty devestating effect on the tech around her. A jokester Shep could probably mess with audio and visual files on OSD's or datapads to make them sound really ridiculous.

Oh, the possibilites....xD

Which tech armor upgrade do you consider the most useful? Which class upgrades? In your headcanon, as Sage puts it, do you have her talk tech with Tali and Garrus? Just curious, jlb.

I prefer Assault Armor, as I do like to play it as a CQC class most of the time, and then I go with Guardian for the class power, as it gives the best cool down bonus.

Yes, and she does talk tech with Garrus and especially Tali XD

sagequeen's blog will give you a good start on that.  It's why she's the screencap expert.  :)

Thank you soooo much. Bookmarked immediately!

Everything I learned (about screenshots), I learned from sagequeen!

Oh, I have a question.  Every time I play LOTSB I'm struck by Hale's voice work, of course, but one particular line really stands out to me as being drop-dead sexy.  It's when Liara is explaining what "azure" means and Shepard says, "I meant, where on the asari body."  I love love love Hale's delivery of that line.  She doesn't purr or make her voice all husky or anything, like she normally does when a sexy voice is called for; instead, her voice just sort of drops in volume a bit and gets softer, almost like she's half-embarrassed to say it and she's trying to speak to Liara privately.  It just makes it sound so spontaneous and intimate that it feels like the sexiest voice work I've ever heard from her, to say nothing of the sexiest Shepard line.

What do you think the sexiest femShep line is?

I agree 100% with that for me some of the best voice over work in the game is in the overloard and lotsb dlcs

also while we talk about it I like hale delivery with samara when you are trying to date her plus samara walking off gives me hope there is more to come in the next game

that is correct, you can have legion and tali spamming their drones each 6 seconds instead of 17 and 24 respectively....
sentinel is definitely overpowered... and a lot of fun!!!!

The dialogue certainly isn't my favorite, but I'll work with what I was given. I actually have begun to like the bungling of the dialogue. But I like seeing my Shep off her game a few times. It makes her more human for me.

Has anyone given thought to how omni-tools are equiped or 'put on?' Some are under the impression that it acts like a glove or gauntlet and can be removed.

One weird theory I had was that there's a chip in your hand that allows for the holographic interphase to appear, but then removal would be a bit more tiresome and painful and wouldn't fit as well.

I'm sort of nitpicky about these kinds of details. And how would one characterize a Sentinel in terms of power? Would the focus be more the biotics or the tech prowess? Or both?

Sage, how did you characterize Kaidan's level of ability when writing your series? I know he's an accomplished biotic, but there's no mention of his tech or medical skills.

I know when you click on the computer on the bridge on the normanday 2 it gives a codex entry saying that the holo compters work with a chip in the finger of the person using them so I think omni-tools are the same there will be a implant

Well, hot damn!  I never noticed that...it's been awhile since I played as one.  Yeah, now the class is even more OP in my eyes than it was before.

My next run through with Rachel will be using her as a Sentinel, so I will definitely utilize this.

In the first book, omni-tools are often pulled out of pocket.  Which implies the tool itself is not an implant.  I pictured something like a small device sown into a thin, partial glove or simply with bands to strap around the fingers that could be worn for long term use, or something that could simply be gripped and turned on.

Omni-gel and medi-gel have been more troublesome for me to figure out, but I figure they're stored in sinks and manipulated from there.

With character skills, I tend to use the character sheet specs as an inference of how talented they are in any given field.  So they might be different for any given playthrough.  I find it helpful, though I don't know if anyone else would.

They're called fish, or so I hear.  They require constant feeding to survive, or you can flirt with your secretary several times to unlock immortality. :P

This is Sabina.
I named her after a character in The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
She's also an Engineer who has small biotic capabilities--enough to make a mini barrier, but that's about it.
She grew up in the slums of Rio De Janeiro before joining the Alliance.  She's always tried to escape her rough past by her dedication to the Alliance, going so far as to win the Badge of Terra for her efforts during the Skyllian Blitz.
She will not break regs for any reason, and (usually always) shows respect for her superiors (the turian councillor got her mad one time).  To Hackett, Anderson, even Udina, she won't snap back at.  But her humour can get pretty vulgar with the crewmates.
She believes that humanity is too stubbron and individualistic; now that they're part of the larger galactic community, they need to kind of be kept in line.  She dislikes what the council does sometimes, but ultimately she sees their side of the situation and bows to their authority.  That's why she'll save them when the time comes.

@ brodyha - i like!

i really love the buzz cut. i always wanted to use it. i never did though, since my 1st femshep had the cut kyrie has and pretty much every shep after. the hair became canon for me before the class, alignment, name, face, romance, or anything else did.

^ wow. that is nuts. lol. haircut first, figure the rest of it out after. like alistair, i have an unholy love of fine cheeses and a minor obsession with my (avatar's) hair. (well, mine, too, if i'm honest)

@ cgrimm: :crying:

horizon always gets me, but it's always a different part and for a different reason. this time it was kaidan being slower to get his arms around shepard and being the first to pull back. i didn't notice that until i had slo mo flycam on. it broke my gamer girl heart. i really wants DLC/ME3.

in the meantime, i'm going to go kill some geth on overlord. the end of that still creeps me out, every dang time. :?

That's the look I was aiming for in the CC.  My first FemShep is a could've-been-pretty--pretty features that are mismatched--which suits her renegade personality.  I've tried to make my second FemShep beautiful, but who obviously suffered from Mindoir and Akuze; I gave her a noticable scar across the nose, and rougher complexion.

Sabina, besides the slightly-noticable scar on her eyebrow, I wanted to make pixie-ish and youthful despite her hardship.

I ultimately decided on the buzz cut--both because I wanted to use the cut, but I also thought it accentuated her features.

Bloody hell, go out and do things in the real world for a couple of hours and this thread as advanced by like five pages. With that in mind:

@ Everyone (to save time): Everything you're doing is awesome. ^^

There, now I'm up to speed again. Carry on.

EDIT: You know what might be a good idea for this post? Content.

Here's something that I thought about on my drive home an hour or so ago that I'd like to hear your collective thoughts on. In your mind, what is your Shepard's "soundtrack"? In this context I'm referring to "soundtrack" as the music you imagine playing when (x) thing is happening in-game or in her version of the story. This can include what you consider your Shepard's personal theme, songs that play during certain fights, and so on.

This is actually something that I've been thinking about a lot as I've been writing bits and pieces of "Chronicles" in order to figure out what kind of mood I'm shooting for while I'm writing. I know Sage does the same thing, so her answers will probably be pretty interesting.

My answers will come after a few responses (so they don't get lost in the post edit)

You shall see in my next video.  Which is mostly about Holly and Thane.  ^_^

EDIT:
Speaking of videos, my Kasumi/FemShep video is done.  It turned out quite good, I think.  It's very stylized and I'd probably say my best work yet.  Just waiting for it to render so I can post it on the Tube.
