I want asari repellent for ME3.
We're actually going to be making fun of the asaris' apparent fascination with Shep in Persephone Rising.
The consort, Shiala, Liara. Were there any others? Asari love femshep.
Those are enough.

You have to kind of expect it though. Shepard's a strong, forceful personality and she looks almost exactly like an asari, except pink.
You know that when humans burst onto the galactic scene, the asari took one look at human women and went, "JACKPOT!"
And the very next sentence they were all like, "Wait, the turians are doing whatnow?"
The Codex never told us the real reason the Council stepped in to stop the First Contact War...

exactly!
asari #1: we must mate outside our species to maintain genetic diversity
asari #2: but i still like boobs....
asari #3: hey, have you seen these new aliens that the turians discovered? one half of the race is all sort of muscley and hairy, but the other half... *holds up a picture*
all 3: ooooooohhhh!
add in that femshep is tougher than an entire commando unit and it's no wonder she gets flirted with everywhere she goes. poor liara never stood a chance in resisting her.

With human women, the asari get to have their cake and eat it too...so to speak. The fun of boobs, without the pureblood mess.

Also explains why I can't never see my dudesheps with Liara.

I'm a little odd. With all my play throughs I'm usually using the same character over and over again (Jo) Only twice have I used a completely different Shepard. Once with my male shep Alex and once with a second femShep who went a bit more renegade and romanced Thane.
And I don't know, but for some reason I really like this shot.

Out of my 25 playthroughs on both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 and 22 of them were female and 21 of them wound up with Liara.
you rock. wow. i thought i was pushing the "many playthroughs of ME" with 8 times through the first game and 5 through the second with multiple sheps that didn't look right that got abandoned after eden prime. clearly, however, i am but a novice in the ways of replayability.

This is also one of the reasons why I think FemShep/Liara just fits better than her male counterpart.. I'll refrain from saying anything more on that subject but I had to comment on how funny this was.
ahem, yes. i agree with what you are not saying. i'm sure shep is awesome enough to win over liara even if he's a dude, but femshep/liara makes more sense to me, too.
it's tragic, really. human men have to be all like "Wow! hot blue women!" and then they actually get up the guts to talk to one and she's all like "um, yeah, whatever. do you have a sister?"

I actually find that funny, considering that the asari are often though of as being better than human women, and 'OMG, all the men want them b/c they can have mind-sex and they stay young forever'. They are too much like 'fantasy' women for me, especially considering they can still procreate with Shepard.
Thus, I find the idea of them liking human women much more than men ironically funny.

YES! this is how i think of it in my head. because otherwise, it's too blatantly fanservice to enjoy it. if it's this horrible

I do the same, playing multiple times with the same Shepard. I'm currently doing a completely renegade run with another character, and I'm already looking forward to another run with Gwen Shepard...maybe I'll live a little and create a custom texmod face for her, and mod her hair this time. Other than that, I just like her best, and I've given her a backstory, so she feels more real to me, in some odd way. It seems odd to hear Jennifer Hale's voice coming out of other FemSheps.
And yes, I firmly believe that asari are more attracted to human women than other races, with the possible exception of quarian ladies. It just makes sense. And have you *seen* Vaenia??? The actresses are so glamourous!!!

@Teen - That's what I want to do sort of. I just want to tweak Jo a bit and play her again and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who finds Hale's voice coming out of other Shep's a little weird.

But I try not to play them simultaneously for that reason.

I don't think it's completely about the voice acting, though that does add to it. Mostly, it's because I've fleshed out my primary Shepard a great deal and I know all about her history, her motivations, etc, and when I go to play the game, I can really get into it more and the story feels more emotional for me.

Not wierd at all. As much as I want to try out my Vanguard Alexis and Adept Christine, to me, Shepard is an Infiltrator and her name is Jessica. If they had different voices available (sacrelige, I know!) it would be easier.

>snrk< Hahaha!
And what makes it even funnier? Liara hasn't! She had no idea what Joker was talking about.
(and the quarian ladies still have the whole envirosuit/immunodeficiency thing to deal with, human ladies remain vastly preferable)

I like that shot of her too. I agree with sage, that armor looks cool on Jo, very sleek--gives me a cyber-futuristic vibe which fits the ME universe perfectly IMO.
It's hard to say if I play the same Shep each time. I might change decisions or looks but it always feels like I'm playing the same character (Shepard) just in an alternate version of reality. I've become attached to my current version though, so I can relate to major changes feeling 'weird.'

So, some of you are mod savvy in this thread. Not to get off topic, but this is for a FemShep video. I've seen vids where people model swap Shepard for another character. Anyone know where I can find out how to do that? Also, is it possible to swap Shepard into the position of another character?
I'm not good at this, so I'd need a lot of help. I just have this really awesome idea..
