I imagine it's because pulling this off is very involved and requires some scripting ability.

speaking of modding, i did my best to explain modding armors and casual uniforms on my blog. also posted a LONG list of codes.

this doesn't cover character/situational specific mods like the breather mask, nekkidness, or kelly's dancer outfit. maybe some other time.

and full props to ELE for getting me this far.

I've been toying the idea of getting N7 armor for my shep and was kind of dreading the thought of going to modding is possible thread. It's confusing thread and I can't seem to find anything from it. It took like forever to find instructions how to make the breather thingy to work..

and re: the nekkidness - yeah, shep's body looks kind of distorted and there is a clear band around her neck where the head meets the body. it's not terribly sexy. i also have half a mind that people like their femsheps too much to show her off nekkid. i took a few pics when my husband was like, "you can do what now?" but i deleted them. i respect my femshep too much for just posting pics of her nekkid with a gun.

ELE took the one pic i kept and made it very pretty.

Well, I imagine the group topic you created was made after the initial first 38 were posted in the thread... making that topic the proper place to post them retroactively?

After thinking about it and talking with a few people from this very forum I went ahead and made my own TexMod for Danielle. I wanted to go back to the old Version 3 but keep some of the improvements I made with Version 4, so here's Version 5! It's a rapid turnaround for full versions but the old one was bugging me and it didn't translate well to ME2, plus the colour changes I made ended up making her feel far less like Danielle than I initially thought.

That's amazing.  She's gorgeous.  I love the way her nose looks with the new texture.

yeah, part of me feels like i'm posting the secret ways of modding, but if the result is more screenshots of femsheps, then i think let's get the secret out. and kate (kate, right?) looks AWESOME in the heavy N7 armor

and yay! black casual armor. wearing alliance actually seemed like an impolitic snub to cerberus and the blues didn't match the lighting. the first was kyrie's consideration, the second was mine, so black it is.

nope, i dont remember dates, but the thread group was already created and we keep posting profiles here.
just to put things in perspective, one post with 5 pics here probably take more space than 1 profile.

I should say seeing ELE's source textures helped me a great deal and figuring out what I wanted to change and what I wanted to keep from BioWare's original resources. Extracting the textures with TexMod and building the .tpf file was easy, figuring out how to navigate those files in GIMP was the hard part. TexMod is a fascinating program and incredibly useful, I doubt this will be the last time I use it.
