That's great!  We demand more screenies!

It's interesting how some people's Shepard creations bear their own personal stamp.  She doesn't look like Dia, necessarily, but there are similarities enough that I would be able to pinpoint her as your creation, much like the similarities with Chignon's Shepards.

Thanks for the feedback.  I spent quite a while at the start of ME1 getting her looking just right.

I thought she looked the hottest whilst wearing the red Mercenary armour.

I hope she imports / looks as good in ME2.  We shall see fairly shortly...

I'll see if I can post some more decent screenies...

When it comes to my Shepard, I do tend to use the nose all the way on the right, if only because I have a fascination with noses that have the bump in the very middle. My only deviation so far was Stella's slopey nose. Not only that, but my Shepards tend to have pretty epic jaws. It's more personal preference than anything. It's a hard habit to break. Seeing as Calla was always my favorite Shep lookswise, it's not a surprise that Dia looks a lot like her.

I do think that a lot of the "too cute to be a soldier" comments are not meant to be mean, but they do come off as dismissive...like by making Shepard into a "pretty princess" we're not playing the game right.  I've seen these comments mostly from guys, and I have a strong suspicion it's why so many of the female faces on masseffectfaces.com are rated low, for the most part.  It's frustrating, because some of the best looking female faces are like a 2.5 according to the people voting...while male faces don't get judged so harshly at all.  So the rating system is useless, at least on the female side.

Don't get me wrong, I love seeing uniquely beautiful FemSheps, and I'm often jealous too.  I just gravitate towards a certain look for my own characters, and it feels like my characters are less exciting sometimes, because of it.

No discussion about "Barbie Sheps" would be complete without a picture of Tris Shepard.

I was doing this last night, but I guess I'm too stuck on her original look, she's back to that one again currently.  I seriously hope we get more choices in ME3, I want to give her something new, but I can't see any of the choices we have now as fitting her as well as the classy hair.  I may change her makeup again too...classic Barbie syndrome!

Personally, I am happy for Hale to get nominated, I sadly won't be voting for her, i am voting for Yvonne but still, it's good to see her get recognized for her amazing job as Shepard.

I am voting for Hale, because I think she deserves the recognition. But given the *ahem* fanboy ratio on Spike, I fully expect Yvonne to win.

I love your recolors of Liara's outfit, as well as your other projects.  Any chance you could do a purple and black version?  Moira would love you forever.  

If I knew how to do recolors myself, I'd try it.  Unfortunately, I have no idea where to start.
