does make me laugh.  :)  Still my favorite is telling Hawkin "I'd rather drink a cup of acid after chewing on a razer blade.  For some reason I just find that very visual.

Lol! Sorry! :P

Yeah, I love intimidating that creep. I just wish she'd actually been able to bust him in the teeth!

I also love that slightly weary 'Harkin, this doesn't have to be hard...' whilst Garrus is beating him down in ME2.

My FemShep usually punches Conrad in the nuts. She has such a satisfied expression on her face after doing it, I can't help but admire.

Mine doesn't... there is no need to mean even if the guy is an idiot.  He means well... he is just stupid.

I rather enjoy telling the asari weapons dealer that I don't give a damn about the surveillance cameras. As for Conrad, he's an idiot (and sometimes I tell him that), but mostly I just tell him to go home.  I love the bartender’s facepalm in that scene.

Heh!  The foulmouthed Asari bartender may be my favorite supporting character, really.  "Sorry, no sex - I just cleaned the bar."

Some of my favorite conversations are with her.

Hey Erin!

So, after discussing FemShep's Renegade dialogue, what is everybody's favourite Paragon dialogue across both games? I quite like Hale's delivery of the "Not unless we lose our humanity" line to Bosker in the Samesh Bhatia quest in ME1. FemShep's delivery is so empowered and generally awesome. I love it!

Heh!  Pimpin'!

One of these days im going to finish the romance with Jacob.  I just never early get poast the intro where he tells you he doesn't want to, and you have to be all pushy and desperate.  I just have a hard time getting into that mindset, I guess.  Probably spaks well of my personal character *nod, nod*.  Or it means I have confidence issues, LOL.

Anyhoo, I like him a lot as a character, and people keep telling me it eventually gets better, so Id like to try it.  Besides, how many times times do you get to have a hot GUY in a skintight outfit?  <_<  Though, did anyone else think the waste on him was a little low and looked weird?

It doesn't get better, it gets worse as you continue it. In the end, he just wants a relationship where Shepard and him don't talk, and just make out, have sex when Jacob feels like it, and that's it. And if you try to get personal with him, he'll get angry and breakup with you.

Heh!  So... a lot like a real man then?  :P

Of all Paragon lines i like punching interruptions the most

Especially that pimp-style gunslap with Archer from Overlord. Priceless

You even think about coming after your brother and this bullet will be waiting for you. Then we'll see who's valuable.

I also love the Charm option when being interviewed by Khalisah al-Jilani in ME2, in which Shepard lists every single Alliance cruiser lost in the battle against Sovereign and the geth. Renegade punch be damned, the Paragon/Charm option is infinitely more badass! B)

I always liked her answer to the sick batarian who asks why she would help him.  "I help people.  Its what I do."  Its such a simple, matter of fact delivery for such a profound statement that it rally sells the characters sense of altruism for me - like the idea of letting him die at her feat just wouldn't ever have occured to her.

Yeah, that was classy

I hope it'll have some influence on ME3

This too!  As ussual Ms. Hale's acting really sells the emotion of the moment.  You actually do get the feeling that the consequences of her decisions have haunted her,a nd the she cares about everyone who dies on her watch, whether she happens to know them or not.  Major bonus piints because I was TOTALLY unimpressed with the male acting in the same scene when I saw it on youtube before buying the game.

That's a good one, Les.

The only one I can think off the top of my head is when she is trying to convince Wrex to stand down on Virmire.

"They're tools, puppets.  Is that what you want for your people, Wrex?"

Gives me chills every time.

Hmm, I guess it depends on whether BioWare are going to allow any of the relationship stuff to be dealt with in that DLC pack.

As for Conrad (late to the party, I know) - my femShep always just stared him down and asked why he pretended to be her. She was going to tell him to get lost but she softened up when he told her how he felt someone had to step up once she died. As for the weapons dealer, she always plays it sly and gets the dealer arrested. And she secretly allows herself a warm smile when she hears about Conrad's charity.

What can I say? She's really a softie beneath all that armor when it comes to something like this :D

me too.  Conrad is a twit, but he's my twit.

That's what happens to me too.  First off Shepard's tone throws me and then he says he's not interested.  I don't want a LI I have to push.  oh well.   I want'ed to romance him, I like his character, but I just can't get past his wanting to be pals.

I did think the outfit  looked weird but I didn't know why.

Yes, this! In addition to what you've already said, consider the fact that there has been, for quite some time, a great deal of resentment, scepticism and outright hostility between humanity and the batarians. What Shepard has just done with that simple act of kindness and compassion is forever change a batarian individual's perception of humanity as a species. It's such a powerful, well written piece of dialouge and scene in general. Through her Paragon actions, Shepard is helping to build bridges and improve relations with the batarian species as a whole. That one batarian may make all the difference, maybe not. But, the principal of helping out those that are needy regardless of race or creed is still evident, and it warms my heart every time.

Seriously. Hale's VA is freaking awesome.

Agreed wholeheartedly, ryn! Hell, the whole confrontation with Wrex is probably FemShep's crowning moment of awesome, and Hale is largely responsible for that. Convincing her obviously and justifiably upset comrade and crewmate to back down and destroy a possible cure for his people is incredible. The Paragon dialogue is amazing.

There's a big pro-Liara vibe in this thread, I see.
Can't say I disapprove, she's almost always got a spot on my squad in ME1 and I seem to be one of the few who liked her in ME2 as well.

Yes, there are quite a few of us.  I wish more of the other LI fans would post though.

Indeed.

I'm a Kadain fan first and foremost.  If my Shepard romanced him, she stayed true and just wished she could e-mail him back.  But I did like Thane and  plan on having one of my Shepards romance Garrus. I enjoyed flirting with him and have been told it's good .
