I mean, Shep and Alenko made love that famous night before Ilos, ok, then they killed Saren, they got some broken limbs, sometime had to pass... but when they are back on the Normandy hunting Geths why didn't they do it again? O_O

I don't think I can play ME1 anymore.  I think I've been spoiled by, among other things, how much more responsive combat seems in ME2.  A lot of ME1 just feels, I dunno, tedious now.

Combat in the game is a chore it's not very fun because it's just dumb, that being said I've played it far too many times recently. I like the characters better and getting screenshots is pretty fun too, but there are stretches of that game that feel like a chore.

I think it depends on your Shep.  He and Meghan (never one for regs -- another of her influences is Starbuck) christened every surface possible in that ship.  Including the Mako (the crew had a brief shore leave).  He and Avery, on the other hand, were VERY frustrated that entire month.  It's not helping them right now in aPoV.

My third Shep is destined for Thane and a non-"cheating" romance with Garrus and will do her best to let him down easy without Virmiring him.

I actually prefer a lot of things about the combat system in ME1, namely that there were many more talents to choose from and that talents didn't share cool downs. It really made micro managing all 3 characters in a given group very enjoyable for me.

This is the first time I'm playing ME1 and2 with the DLCs

Meghan is a very complicated woman and doesn't know how to have a fight with someone she loves.  So... for her, Horizon was it, despite being in love with Kaidan.  She believes he dumped her and she's trying to let him go. 

And Garrus is there, picking up the pieces.  If you want more detail, specifically about that triangle, you'll have to read her fic in my sig: Loved.

The other facial structures are intresting to use, not all of them are good but you can make something very cool out of most of them if you try hard enough. I used Face structure #1 for Colleen and I think it looks very good on her.

People use a work around with Dragon Age to upload a custom avatar, you rename a PNG file to the character portrait and then upload it to the BSN.

You can change to a default pic by going to Profile and Change Profile Photo.

ohmygod, GUYS. I'm so excited so excited so excited. I was finally able to rebuild my Calla Shepard (the reason for my UN! and the first Shep I ever wrote fanfic for.) on the PC! It's interesting how some people's Shepard creations bear their own personal stamp.  She doesn't look like Dia, necessarily, but there are similarities enough that I would be able to pinpoint her as your creation, much like the similarities with Chignon's Shepards.

When it comes to my Shepard, I do tend to use the nose all the way on the right, if only because I have a fascination with noses that have the bump in the very middle. My only deviation so far was Stella's slopey nose. Not only that, but my Shepards tend to have pretty epic jaws. It's more personal preference than anything. It's a hard habit to break. Seeing as Calla was always my favorite Shep lookswise, it's not a surprise that Dia looks a lot like her.

I smiled when I saw this character. It's the first I've seen that resembles one of my own femsheps, Enola, the Allliance infiltrator with some Native American blood...



The girls definitely have something in common, don't you think? Couldn't quite tell from those pics of Calla her (nose) profile, though.

That Cowboy Bebop style Mass Effect video was cool, haha. I actually was contemplating doing something like that, myself, but now it's already been done. /sadface Oh well, I might do it anyway.

Rose is amazing! She definitely comes off as being a badass soldier. It'll be interesting seeing her with Thane.

As for ME burnout, I don't see it happening to me very soon.  The videos I make keep things fresh and I'm still experiencing parts of the game I haven't with new characters, so..

Much thanks!  I think her and Thane are a good match because they both exude a sort of quiet confidence.  Rose has a very deliberate and serious personality which meshes well with Thane's.
