Me neither. I think level 1, when you just woke up in Lazarus Project, and maybe level 2 might fit some sheps. But beyond that, they're terrible. I'm sorry. And not just for femshep, for dudeshep as well.

In my case, as soon as Miranda tells me to pick up the weapon from the locker, I exit the game.
Eyelashes appear, scars disappear

and awesome Sin City comic, chig :wizard:

yeah, i like the particle beam, but it is UGLY. really flaky of me, I know, but if I can survive insanity with crap armor and no beam, i feel i will have truly earned the achievement. had to bring grunt on the collector ship though. sadly,
non-loyal garrus was NOT cutting it against harbinger.

the collector beam sucks. is awful. it ruins the looks of your shep.
damage ? meh.... no CC and you have to be out of cover the whole time. that's not healty on insanity.

@Chignon -- KILLER ART. I LOVE IT.

I love coming back and seeing more pictures of people's femsheps. I squee when I look through everyone's personal Wonder Woman, so to speak!

I'm also in an extra-good mood tonight because I went to my brother's birthday dinner tonight and wore my Mass Effect hooded sweatshirt (with the stripe on the arm). He saw it and gave me an impressed high-five. I was all, "Wait, you play the game, too?" He said he's devoted 100 hours into ME1 and ME2 each already. So I asked him, hey, do you want this sweatshirt for Christmas? He does! SCORE. One less person to worry about shopping for! And it IS a cool sweatshirt, too! =D

Siiiigh. So I got a little side-tracked with getting the sidemissions done, and forgot to talk with some of the crew after Feros, like I normally do.

So, when Virmire comes and goes, I was greeted with Ash's "xenophobia" lines and Liara's "inital facisnation" lines instead of the ones that I thought fit the plot better, the sister and asari melding lines respectivley.

Needless to say, I was a bit miffed, but I'm over it now. :( I'm just...retconning it all in my head! I've already spent a good amount of time on Cam's ME playthrough (about 50 hours) so I'm just...READY to hit ME2 tommorrow full on. I think I can get Noveria and Illos done in a few hours.

Re scars: I've always let the scars progress naturally on their own. Being a paragade, Cam's go away pretty quickly.

Speaking of scars, what's the story of your Shepard's ME scars, if she has one (or two)? How did she come to get them?

<_< crowds of husks render heavy weapons moot. there, we need the weapon of mass destruction. e.g, a cain or a vanguard. however, the arc projector DOES indeed stun them. this is good news for the IFF quest later. is sort of sad. i took on the praetorian in insanity with a pistol. but five or more husks and i need to break out the arc projector. :pinched:

@ gilsa: awesome! daw, i've worn my N7 hoodie all over the place and have yet to have anyone comment upon it or even know what it's all about. i live among non-gamers. it's really tragic.

@ sky: that's a good question. answer's in my fanfic. daw, self-promotion, yeah. but i hate giving spoilers.

That's cool. Is it just me or does Noah seem more renegade each time I see her here? That's what happens when you take her Kaidan away I guess...

She'll hurt you.  Is what I'm trying to say.

this. I'm starting to wonder what she'd look like with the renegade morphing,Posted Image

"Noah with renegade scars"....is a situation to run away from REAAALLLLY fast, IMO.

You'll only die tired.

Someone mentioned earlier hearing the "Omen" theme when viewing one of Noah's scarier images. I tend to think of her incanting "Darkness beyond twilight / Crimson beyond blood that flows..."

(Hale could probably pull that off as well as Megumi Hayashibara did.)

Re: ME Cerberus data: Even if there's no flag for it in the save file, I'd still want to go back and have Cam keep the data for the Alliance, if only to keep me from going OCD on the save file. It has to fit my headcanon, even if it doesn't have an effect on the actual gameplay in ME2.

Odd, it's one of the few Renegade things I do in the game.

Madeline has, or had :( , a scar across her left eye which was recieved during the raid on Mindor. After she whitnessed the brutal murders of her parents at the hands 5 Batarian slavers, she became over taken with rage and the lust to avenge their deaths.

Using the HTH and CQC training her father had taught her and the 14" kitchen knife her mother had been using to prepare dinner minutes earlier, Madeline single handedly killed each of them...one at a time while "stalking" them through the empty house.  The last remaining Batarian was the only one to "put up a fight" as Maddy called it and was responsible for the scar across her eye.

As she made her way down the hallway, he sprang from one of the bedroom doors as he slashed downward at her with a 6" blade in his right hand. Maddy attempted to dodge the blade and his attack, but it was to close....the blade striking 1 7/8" above her left eyebrow and downward across her left eye, damaging the cornia and some of the underlying tissue.  Madeline was able to subdue this final attaker with no depth perseption.

When she was issued medical attention onboard the SSV Lexington (sent to rescue the survivers), they were able to save her eye...but were not sure if she would ever see out of it again.  The Alliance Military Medical Center on Elysium was able to restore her sight, but she would suffer premenent nerve damage around her left eye and colorblindness.

Looking in a mirror always reminded her of that aweful day....the reason she never kept a mirror in her quarters.

The codex is descriptive, yet quite vague:

"You were born and raised on Mindoir, a small border colony in the Attican Traverse. When you were sixteen, slavers raided Mindoir, slaughtering your family and friends. You were saved by a passing Alliance patrol, and you enlisted with the military a few years later."

I kind of prefer it this way, as it leaves more to the "imagination".  What I wrote is actually part of the FanFic I'm writing on my "canon"  Madeline's life.

Jane had one that cut through her eyebrow.
She had been told to take part in an attack on another gang back on Earth. She had taken a pistol that was her Dad's and knife that had been her Mom's.Before the attack she cut her face with the knife, vowing to fing out who had killed her parents.
Then she got another from Torfan.
A slaver had pulled a dagger on her and cut down her neck. She then shot him with her shotgun.

Jen had one below her eye.
There had been a raid on the Reds and she got cornered by some of the enemies. One cut under her eye and the other cut her arms and legs, then even tried to slit her. But she flung her fists to their faces, breaking one's jaw and blinging the other. She grabbed her pistol and shot them both.
Then she got one more on Akuze.
Thresher Maw acid had cut through her armor and burned her skin.

Grace had one on her bottem lip.
When the slavers attacked, she shot them all in the back she was so full of rage, but some noticed her.
The first to notice pulled a dagger and cut her lip, The next to notice shot her left arm. The last to notice cut her right arm and her back. (Then they all ended up dead, since she wanted revenge for her family's death.)
Then she got another from Elysium.
One of the enemies caught her and cut part of her face. But she killed him.

right, gives you more of a custom framework, i can see that

this reminded me of what my own femshep said after completing that quest

the alliance guy says "why are we even out here if we can't prevent things like that from happening. I R SAD"
my femshep says "WE ARE HERE TO CRUSH OUR ENEMIES AND PAY THEM BACK DOUBLE ARRR"

he's all "you're not helping me :("

Yeah, when talking to Talitha, you can get the "house fell in on me" story from Shepard.  Kind of an interesting twist, I thought.

As for my Shepard's scar, well...

"Knife fight with a turian," one day.

Tomorrow, "Nasty run in with a slaver's pet varren."

Last week, "Bar brawl during an undercover mission - turns out those glass bottles improvised as a weapon really do sting."

Next month,  "During training, I got in a fight with someone who thought just because he was bigger than I was it meant he was stronger."

She's a bit dodgy on the subject.  ^_^

I have a question:  For those of you with multiple FemSheps, do you think they would get along?  Would they approve of each other's actions?

Nope.  Kathryn and Shai would not get along.  I created them to be alternate egos of each other.  I can see Shai almost hating Kathryn for being so calm and friendly.  She would be jealous that Kathryn has led an "easy life."  This isn't true as she went through some terrible things back on Earth but she tried her best to put those things behind her.  Shai on the other hand lives with those emotional scars everyday.  I could see them getting into arguments and maybe even fist fights over trying to decide what to do on a mission.  98% of the time Kathryn takes the Paragon route with a decision and Shai takes the Paragon decision maybe 75% of the time.

Yeah, I played 'I Remember Me' yesterday and when Shepard said that, I was like WUTTTTTT.  I thought there were Batarian slavers that invaded Shepard's village?  Why would they send artillery strikes down on the city?  Nearly everyone would be dead and that means no slaves for the taking.  I'm going to have to do somet thinking about this to decide how I want to write Shai's backstory.

This is my Shepard, the first to go through both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. She had some mfunky scars in ME1 and her left eye was deformed but my story for that went back to when she was taken by the slavers.

Posted Image

I hate to say I was never a Kaiden fan (It was the voice, drove me insane, Casey Kasum like and all) And Ashley and her racism drove me nuts but Liara was perfect. I felt short changed though after the Shadow Broker Quest. Little jelous too of the Drell.  The just friends thing does not sit well with Kellie at all... Two years trying to save him means something...
