I always save Kirrahe because I'm anal about quests. I HAVE TO FINISH. Wrex shot Fist for Meghan. (Didn't take him with Avery -- cause you know -- Paragon not liking the renegade krogan.) Finch went to jail because Garrus and Kaidan were standing behind Meghan -- neither of who's bad opinion she wanted. She forgave Helena Blake because she wishes she could forgive herself her own crimes from Earth.

In ME2, everyone survived the mission. But not because Meg's just that good, because she was just that cautious and paranoid. Avery's just obsessed.

i believe charm sells him on the "adventure theme park" opportunities of the feros colony

renegade says "my gun is bigger than yours. a LOT bigger."

neither colored option winds up with him dead.

All funnies aside, does anyone have a...flawed game? Like, you failed some persuasions and some weren't able to make it out of the suicide mission? 

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to answer this.

In most of my games, everyone makes it out.  The only time someone died that was out of my control was during my non-imported ManShep's file... that Jack and Miranda argument is hard if you don't have any Paragon points from importing.

Every other time someone died, it was intentional on my part.  Well, sort of.  Liz lost half the crew.  That was partly because I got sidetracked and did a lot of planet scanning after the abduction (), but I also thought it would make the Collector threat hit home without having to sacrifice any of my squadmates... I love the squad.  I didn't know I'd lose Gabby, though... it really depresses me to go visit Ken in Engineering now.

On Kate's file, I deliberately sacrificed Jacob.  He got seeker swarmed.   Nothing against the guy, I promise!  I'm just creating angst for Kate in ME3.  She wasn't in love with Jacob or anything, but she enjoyed their friends with benefits situation.  After losing her fiance on Akuze, then Kaidan dumping her (in her eyes, anyway), and then Jacob dying... man, she is going to be moody in ME3, to say the least.

I also thought it might help her bond with Miranda in a weird way.  They both blame themselves for his death (since Shepard made the decision and Miranda was in charge of the biotic bubble).  Of course, Miranda never SAYS anything to that effect, but I bet she would feel guilty.

As I'm completing Noveria (I've had to REDO several options because my game kept freezing when I wanted to Singularity a bunch of Rachni workers) I'm thinking about what kinds of things that would make the story-line more interesting if Cam didn't always have that correct amount of persuation or specific upgrade on the Normandy.

I, personally, would LOVE to see what all the characters change/progress into in ME3 if they all survive. The writer in me, (as I tend to go through the game like an interactive story at times. I even nitpick little options and adding meaning to things, like what the squadmate AI does in combat) wonders what it would be like if I chose one of the lesser options in the suicide mission or have someone die.

Like sage, I've got my team through unharmed and all there, mostly for the sake of curiosity, and because I've grown attached to these characters and don't want to see them dead. I want to see them go on and lead happy lives, content with thier standing in life....y'know, after the Reaper threat and all.

Re Jeong (the ExoGeni idiot) Tried both options, and decided to shoot him. The paragon option was tooo.....eh, it didn't fit Cam.

of course, kyrie's less than noble reason for stopping her team there is that she's very law-abiding, and if her people get picked up for essentially murdering people in the streets (regardless of motive), it is going to get WAY sticky to clean up that mess. ah, kyrie - hard to tell where compassion ends and practicality begins.

See, Jessica always stops someone from gunning down a friend or associate out of anger or for revenge.  She got a very harsh and painful series of lessons about the cyclical and hollow nature of vengeance pounded into her when she was back on Earth, and while she doesn't have too many qualms about gunning down someone like Niket or Sidonis, she'd rather prevent other people from going through that if she can.

Kaidan... I felt so bad for dumping him on my main Shep I made another one just for him. I have such a guilty conscience, lol. It turned out for the best, I guess, Kaidan can now have a girlfriend without a subscription to Fornax (but who wears a stupid visor thingy).
