You know, I was kind of thinking that myself the other day, though I didn't have Julie Andrews in mind when I made her. And thanks :3

:P I've done Mordin, Jack and Jacob's loyalty missions and I've recruited Samara, but shots of those missions will have to wait (and there are some GOOD shots) due to holiday festivities.

Speaking of fesitivities: Does your Shep celebrate any festivities when the day arises? (Halloween, Thanksgiving etc?) I've seen some Cerberus Daily News articles about celebrating Halloween and I thought it was interesting that they still did it even after 100 + years from now. :P

Another question would be: does your FemShep have something thing she has to do to get through her day? It could be having a special drink or something inbetween missions or listening to a favorite DJ on the extranet.

Here are some pics I took before all the festivities started:

Image IPB
I've always thought of Shepard as a....mentor figure to Grunt, as he's basically a hormonal teenage krogan trying to find his place in the world and Shep's sort of his guiding influence....to an extent.

Grunt: When he turned on the tank the first time...I screamed. I was weak.
Cam: But you came out stronger for it, Grunt. You're powerful, determined and strong, stronger than most krogan that I've fought....and I've fought a LOT of krogan.

Image IPB
Cam: So....have the nightmares about the geth peeling off your suit stopped ever since we defeated Saren and his geth? I mean, I know watching the Matrix with a quarian wasn't...the smartest idea I've had in my life...
Tali:.....You really know how to make me feel welcome, Cam....

Image IPB
Obligatory @ss shot of Miranda. It's only now do I realize how much....focus they put on Miranda's body and the camera angles on her. :C Poor Miri.

Image IPB
I've always like this shot, because Miri shows some emotion beyond caring for her sister and Niket. I'm not sure what it is she's feeling, and it's a topic for the Miranda thread, but I do love the...syngery between Cam, Jacob and Miri in this scene.

This is Kate again, my Paragade Engineer.  She's usually makes Paragon decisions in a completely Renegade manner.  She saved the council, destroyed te base, and here she took David away from the Overlord project, but she really doesn't make many friends along the way.  She has a short temper and is pricklier than a porcupine.  I absolutely love her.

Happy Thanksgiving for the other Americans hanging around!

on the animations the run one has never bothered me that much but I did think it was better in the first game but some of the other animations do

take when you are talking with garrus about his tie breaker and even if you are in your dress you are sat there with you legs wide open as they used the one animation for both male and fem sheps

I just hope they give fem shep her own animations for the 3rd game

Speaking of animations, I've been playing ME1 and I miss FemShep's unique animations.  Her run was swift and kind of elegant.  I also like when she would put her hand on her hip, it's quite sexy.

Aaaah, ME1. Already starting to miss it...the animations...the familiar characters....It's always interesting to go back to the original game and see what'll happen each playthrough, what dialouge options always seem to fit your character better than a previous run...such an enjoyable series overall.

I like the scar set you've got on Jih. It looks like Shepard has seen combat at some point. It's one thing I don't like about ME2, is how you lose that sort of character from the faces.

I guess the whole Lazarus Project thing would make it so you'd lose them, but the character was never intended (to me) to be the sort who stays back and lets someone else be in danger.

I agree. I would've liked for my renegades to keep their ME1 scars. I imagine they had some meaning for each of them beyond mere battle trophies.

Y'know, I envy you PC players and your screen taking abilities. You can just....click a button and boom! Perfect screen, no glare or blur lines.

Though, I suppose there's a sort of good feeling when a pic I snap comes out looking pretty decent. Still, I'm always looking to improve. The camera angles on ME 2 makes it feel more like an interactive movie at times, and I love it.

"Scars are proof are the proof man can survive his own stupidity."

I don't see FemShep as being like Heinlein's Friday, who gets her body's aesthetics repaired by her employers. Up until the events for ME1, she's a high end commando, but not an amazingly important one. I don't see her at a diplomatic function unless she's undercover as security.

I may be missing the point you're trying to make, but do you see the scars as just a consequence of battle with no other real significance? That would be a valid viewpoint as well. It would definitely suit Jih who has the earthborn/sole survivor background. My other renegade, however, is colonist/ruthless. Her scar is more a reminder of what she lost and refuses to allow to happen again if she can help it.

Anyway, it's been a long time since I read Friday and what I do remember of it is quite a bit off topic. :)

Prazza (off screen) there's no way I'm working with Cerberus!

Shep: Tali, look at your squad, now look at mine, back to your squad now back to mine. Sadly your squad isn't mine because my squad will get off this planet alive.

Tali: you're right Shepard, Prazza does suck as a soldier anyway

Praza (off screen): Hey!

Jacob: anything is possible when you're with Shepard and not a Prazza.

Shep: We've got a shuttle *old spice whistle*

It's a reference to an old Michael A. Stackpole game spin off novel.

Bascially, there are times when at least the pyscological portions of a traumatic event, are a reminder of things that a person has done wrong, and are a personal object lesson.  In that case- a General who tries to play dynastic politics lost an eye because his agents failed in a coup d'etat.

Anyway, it's been a long time since I read Friday and what I do remember of it is quite a bit off topic. :)

Heinlein did turn out to be a dirty old man at times.  Although I could see an Asari in her role IYKWIM.

Except for the whole unsuspecting surrogate mother part. :)

Thanks for explaining your meaning on the scars I think we're pretty much on the same page regarding them.

When you design the appearance of your Shepards, what do you aim for?

First one I made (MaleShep, actually; will stray off-topic just for this one example) I tried to have him resemble myself, though I think he looks more like one of my uncles on my father's side, though distorted. (I did use the term "redheaded Frankenstein's monster" to describe him earlier.)

Back on-topic, I picked features I like for my current FemShep. Future ones will probably resemble descriptions of characters I like from various novels I've read. I figure I'll make the next FemShep an Engineer named "Ginger Shepard" after a recurring character from the Honor Harrington series name Ginger Lewis.

After that, not sure. Could pick one based on Ekaterin Vorkosigan, though I'm not sure about which class since she's not a military type character. Maybe Adept, since her Crowning Moment of Awesome from Komarr seems to involve something like Lift or perhaps Slam would fit better. (Not sure how many spoilers I should reveal for that one, but it was great. Beware the Nice Ones.)

I miss my Shep's scars. She had the eyebrow one and it kind of gave her more character. The ME2 scars are just ridiculous imo.
