She sure does, being a Sentinel and all. I've always loved the flavor text for thier class power, Defender. Makes them sound uber smart. ;D I think it's something along the lines of mental conditioning/training/focus.

Watching Kasumi's heist makes me jealous that I can't get it. Though Cam doesn't like the idea of walking around in a skirt, she'd probably be like....BFF's with Kasumi. It seems all her buddies are techies (Tali, Garrus, and Kasumi). She'd probably be out of the loop when they talk shop. xD

Hmmm... I was thinking of switching Jih over to Sentinel (currently Infiltrator). How's that class for someone who sucks at combat and plays on casual? Or should I just stick to shooting everything that gets in my way.

I didn't know Jih (my favorite of your characters) is an Infiltrator. I assumed she was probably a Soldier or Vanguard.

The Sentinel has the best survivability. Once you max out Tech Armor, you shouldn't be concerned about dying.

Infiltrator seemed the easiest at the time when I first played. I could take along some combination of Ashley,  Liara, and Wrex and still have some kind of tech. I rp'd her as being good at hiding from trouble and b&e when she was in the Reds back on Earth which led to the Infiltrator specialization.

Delta, drinking with Chakwas.

Speaking of which, I think I met her great-great-great grandmother today.  I had a guest lecturer in one of my classes who looked a little bit like her and acted EXACTLY like I imagine her.

She's gorgeous!

@Scampermax: Interesting. I guess it was her little mohawk and slightly rough look that made me see her as Soldier/Vanguard. I've yet to play as an Infiltrator but if I do, it will have to be with Nemain. That was my initial idea when creating her but because I was missing out on some achievements, I decided to make her an Engineer instead. Yup, sometimes I'm an achievement wh_re.

Yes, the 'mental focus' description is one reason I really like the class (I know, that's dumb) but I think it fits my Shepard.  She's dealt with a lot of crap in her life (being Earthborn) and I think this mental toughness is what got her through and enabled her to become what she is today.  Also, Sentinel is the most durable and versitaile class in game...it fits her...she's truly a 'Jack of All Trades' and can adapt to any tough situation thrown at her.  She's resilient.

I did think about moving her to Vanguard, but I already played that with my dudeShep so I wanted to try something different. Jih's definitely not afraid of mixing it up, but I was trying to go a little more exotic than straight soldier. I also have to play ME different than I do other rpgs otherwise I get killed too fast. Most of my DA:O characters are dual wielders who are always right in the middle of the action.

(I'd like to be an achievement wh_re, but there's no way I'll ever get the insanity achievement.)

Its neat to see how many people put SO much into their characters.  Each character is different, not just in class or gear, but in playstyle, background story, paragon or renegade.....   everyone puts SO much into their characters its really amazing.

I play for the fights.  I am best at soldiers and adepts.  Vanguard is some seriously overpowered fun too, but I am just unstoppable as the soldier adept type.  I switch from full paragon to full renegade on a whim - from character to character.  HA!  Even most of my toons are named Tony, about 4 soldiers, 4 adepts, and one of each of the other classes.  I guess you could say that my toons are always me.   They even all have the same face.

I think thats why I like the FemShep thread so much - everyone here adds variety and originality.

@ScamperMax:  Aww, it's much easier to beat the game on insanity with the Soldier class. When I played as Nemain, I actually played the game on Insanity with the Engineer class and let me tell you........for the first 15 levels or so I really struggled but it gets better (and easier) as you level up.

Edit: @TonyMac: I do tend to design my Shepards based on what class I want them to use. I would have a hard time picturing a dainty character playing the role of Soldier and vice-versa, although others may enjoy that juxtaposition.

I actually do enjoy the juxtaposition of appearance with class / personality, Kate in my mind looks far too delicate to be a slightly insane vanguard.  Image IPB

I think it's really dependent on the playstyle of each person which class is easiest to beat Insanity on. I've only done it with my Vanguard Alexis. And, I was insane just for deciding on a whim to go from Casual to Insanity (I saved myself some trouble and did a NG rather than a NG+). It was really a struggle to play until about 20 or so, when I had the skill points - and more importantly - upgrades! to handle the fights.

And hell, I was so excited to just finally beat Horizon on Insanity, that I barely realized that the only Kaidan scene I had in the game was about to start.

SHE'S A VANGUARD? Image IPB

Pictured her to be more of an adept or an engineer.

Just goes to show you! You can't judge a book by its cover!

As far as designing a Shep based on looks and class, Adept's have held a special place in my heart. I love psychic/ telekinetic characters in ficiton. Combine that with a strong female hero and you've got my Cam! Or any other Adept/Vanguard/Sentinel Shep.

I just love biotics. <3

I think Soldier would be the only way I could try insanity. I have enough trouble remembering to use my super powers as it is. I also tend to hide behind crates alot. :)

I haven't beaten the game on insanity yet, hardcore is as far as I've gotten in ME2.  In ME1 I didn't find insanity particularly difficult, with the right party setup nothing ever stayed on the ground for long.   It felt like skeet shooting at times.

I'm still trying to decide what class to attempt my insanity run with in ME2.

I have enough FemSheps that I've experimented with both.   My Barbie-doll Shepard is a vanguard.

Jennie has the kindest heart of all my Shepards and is the most idealistic.  She's a polite sweetheart, and judging from her appearance, you certainly wouldn't think she likes to get her hands dirty... but no, she is a vanguard all the way.  If she has to, this bottle-blonde sweetie will biotically charge you down and introduce your face to the business end of her shotgun.  And then beat you to death with the other end if necessary.  :innocent:

Thanks!

And, there was still alot of hiding behind crates depending on what was going on. I grabbed Reave as my extra power, and Miranda pretty much went everywhere with my femShep. (Which works out well for the friendship that Miri and Alexis eventually form.)

But, yes, it was definitely a challenge. I recommend at least trying it one day to see how it goes. You never know what you can do until you try! =]

Question for all you FemShep fans. I'm trying decide which project I want to do next, but I've got so many ideas. I've narrowed it down to two I'd want to do right now.

The first is a more in-depth and dramatic video about my canon Shep. It's going to be more focused on her feelings, as well as her relationship with the squad and Thane.

The second is a more fun and upbeat FemShep + squadmates tribute video. I plan to use MacKenzie in this one, since she hasn't gotten any video time yet.

So, what do you guys think?
