Question for the male Femshep players:
Do you guys make your femsheps romance Liara (or mod them to romance the maleshep LI's) exclusivly, or do you make Femshep romance her intended me2 LI's nd Kaidan for the expereince,
Me I've done both. Kallen on the 360 had her LI conflict with Liara because she romanced Jacob as her vanguard and her soldier form romanced Garrus but broke up with him for Thane Also cheating on Liara because the soldier had an epiphany with her death and hated renegade Liara and loved Paragon Thane. Angela was Single but did romance Kaidan before virmiring him because she felt Ashley couldn't have made the bomb go off and she wanted to save Kirahee and co. Kat got her a piece of an Alliance Lieutenant and has remained faithful despite a certain Turians suggestions of blwoing off some steam.
Well, I'm kind of a one femshep guy. I've got a few more waiting in the wings, but have yet to do a complete playthrough w/ any of them. (I had one renegade who was romancing Jacob, but it broke my computer and I lost the save). I actually would like to have one romance Kaiden, but may wait until a VS DLC or ME3 before committing to that.
Unlike a lot of people, I rarely play myself in a game. I enjoy bringing a character to life that is nothing like me, be it male or female. Comes from my old D&D days. In my first ME1 playthrough UJ (then Urania) began romancing Kaiden, but quickly went for Liara. The way I was playing her, paragade, fit better w/ Liara. I was actually rooting for Ash and Kaiden to get together at some point. Alas … If Ash had been a femshep romance, it would have been Liara who? But looking at the character UJ has become, she and Ash are too much alike. I think that’s the problem she had w/ Kaiden. She liked him, but it would never have worked as UJ needed someone who was not her clone.
I’ve never modded the game to romance any of the male LIs. If I had, Jack would have been the only one UJ would have gone after in ME2. However the relationship w/ Jack has changed. It’s more of a mother/angry teenage daughter motif now. In my head canon, UJ does secretly want to bed Miranda at least once, but won’t admit it. Tali is just too much of a little sister type for me to even think about. Samara is a no go either way, but is just as well as UJ would probably never be the same afterwards. Kasumi is tempting to think about (liked AD’s fic on her), but she’s UJ’s refuge, a place for girl talk and getting drunk. As far as the guys, if Liara were out of the picture UJ would be w/ Garrus. I got her to start a romance w/ him, but she called it off at the last minute. It was just too cheap. Don’t even get me started w/ Jacob. BW f*cked up on that one. Thane, I can see the appeal, but UJ feels compassion for him, but nothing beyond that. Joker is the little brat brother to her. She loves him, but most of the time just wants to kick his a**.
UJ does have dinner w/ Kelly, however and flirts w/ her a bit. On one playthough she did invite Kelly up to her room after the mission, but that game has since been wiped from my computer and thus never happened. More info that you really asked for, but there it is nonethelsess.
