I adore Garrus, so it's hard not to take him with me on any of my Sheps. He also has some great dialogue quips. Walking into the derelict reaper, Mordin's loyalty mission, etc.

Garrus: "That's unfortunate. Hospitals aren't fun to fight through."
Shepard: "What is fun to fight through?"
Garrus: "Gardens, electronic shops...antique stores, but only if they're classy."

Cam gets along just fine with Garrus, as her sense of humor meshes quite well with his, which is why he, Kasumi and Tali are basically Cam's best friends.  Sure she warms up to the rest of the crew in time, but those three make up the core, so to speak.

well  it was for Males who play Femshep. I know some guys who play who only romance Liara because they don't like men like that and wouldn't romance Kaidan, Garrus, thane, or Jacob. so basically it's like "can you be secure in your masculinity to puruse a romance with a romancable crew member" kind of question. I know it was kinda weird for me to romance Kaidan, but in the end I enjoyed it cuz of how happy Kat was.

I rommanced Thane and Garrus on different playthroughs but no one on my canon playthrough. I consider romancing "helping a bro out", Thane and Garrus are deffinetly cool cats.

Romance: Kaidan



Had a good life on Mindoir. The raid made her snap. Threw herself into military life after recovering from biotic implant surgery. Pushed herself in N7 training. Purposely signed up to attack Torfan, making the Batarians pay for what they did to her friends and family.



Now on the Citadel going to submit the evidence from Tali's omnitool.





She's not an alien hater exactly...she does want stability...humanity is important to her, but she's not fantical about it... has no idea what to make of Cerberus...she can understand Ash's point with aliens v humans...

I think it is more for me that my Shep isn't gay.  It's less that I don't like Liara or am REALLY secure in my masculinity or anything, and more that she just didn't come off as liking girls to me.  *shrugs*

Of course, no offense intended if I came off as offensive.

Romance: Kaidan in ME1, Garrus in ME2

She's a chipper, spunky little thing who never lets anything get her down for long.  It's how she's managed to survive and thrive despite a rotten childhood and Akuze.  I just finished the Suicide Mission with her yesterday.



Now I plan on redoing Tess... I spent some time playing in the Character Creator earlier and I think I'm ready to start a new ME1 FemShep.

I can't argue with your assessment, really.  So much of Jacob's romance dialogue is just, cringeworthy.
It is unfortunate though, that most people will never get the good parts either because of this.

I love the following exchange, but it's in his second to last conversation and only if you pursue the romance.

Shep: You’re too close to see how it affects you.  I would be to.

Jacob: Well, maybe that’s more about you.  Out of all of us, you’re the one who could probably most use a place to vent.
So Shepard, how about we turn it around?  What are you carrying?  What do you need to get rid of?

Shep: Two years changes a hell of a lot, you know?  I don’t blame people for thinking I was dead, but it’s only been a few weeks for me.

Jacob: Rough.  Someone dies on you, they stay dead.  But like with my father, you keep running into people who seem like they’ve just…changed.

Shep:…and I’m still the same.

Jacob: I feel sorry for those other people, Shepard.  Know why they all changed?  They lost you.  I get how hard that would be.

His response if you pick the 'burden of command' line is also good.  I love it, really anytime femshep gets to let her guard down and just be a person.  And acknowledge that she DIED and everything's different.  The only other person I can recall her doing this with is Liara in the DLC.

Sadly, it's really hit and miss with his character.  I can overlook the bad parts though.

it's okay jake.  maybe they'll give you better lines in ME3 and this whole priize thing will blow over...


@ Cypher0020 - newest one, be this one right here ^^ Ash!shep.  her actual name is Naomi though (the name of another character voiced by the wonderful Ms. Hale.)  I'm still figuring out what her background should be though.  I'd like to take a new femshep through ME1 and ME2 full renegade path.  I'm leaning towards Colonist/Ruthless as it seems like a good motivation for renegade Shep.

@leggywillow - Delta's so darn cute.  Spunky is an apt descriptor.

I just finished Lena's game. I kind of screwed it all up, since I got Legion before doing pretty much anything. The crew was stuck on the Collector Base while I did everyone's loyalty missions and recruited Tali. Well, except Jack's loyalty mission because I forgot. I really messed up, but I'll leave it that way. Dr. Chakwas was my only surviving crew member, and Jack died :'(



"I really screwed the pooch on this one."

I just started my first serious femshep playthrough, I always played dudeshep before and I finally decided to buckle and try her out.

Romance: Liara



After about five hours of playing with Jennifer Hale making sweet sweet love to my earholes, I have decided to forsake dudeshep. Meer is okay, but there's really no comparison to Hale. I got chills when I chose the charm option when talking to Al Jilani and Shepard listed off the names of the ships that died. She was so intense. Aside from having to save before I try and navigate through the cringe-inducing Jacob conversations, femshep is definitely 100% better.

I loved the "burden of command" dialogue since I had 360 Kallen take the paragon route with Jacob. It was so amazing that She finally ackowledged that she was friggin dead and that it was bothering her. I even yelled "FINALLY" and Jacob's romance easily become one of my faves, even though it is hit and miss with him (especialyl when he gets defensive when femshep  "tries to fix him" cuz he wasn't playing that.

I agree with you about Jacob.  There are some good lines in there, if you give it a chance.  That's why I included him in my last fanfic as well.  He could be a really likeable character if they cut out the cheesyness.

Aislinn, I swear I give a little fangirl-y squee every time I see MacKenzie. She's just the cutest Shep I've ever seen in my entire life. Ever. I love her short curls and her big eyes.

In ME1 it's Kaidan and Ash/Wrex/Liara. In ME2 it's usually a combination of Kasumi, Thane, Samara, Miranda or Zaeed.

At least you can mod for it on the pc even if you do get the wrong pronouns. Nice to have the femShep voice though.

I can't put up with being called "Sir" for two games.
