I agree with that.  I always felt that he and my Shepard were good friends even though I didn't continue on with the romance.   It's a good friendship, actually.    Some of the other romace characters were lacking, though, like Garrus or Jack.  

Mordin has a great friendship with Shepard too, IMO.  Also, Samara.

Even if Mordin thought my Shepard was totally hitting on him!

I hope there are better defined friendship paths in ME3.

We want to be friendly with our crew, not get romatic with them.

All of this and more. Cam's on more friendly terms with her crew. She treats them more like really close friends and family than crewmates on a starship.

Which is why I can't stand any deaths on the Suicide Mission....even if it were characters like Zaeed or Jack. I just can't stand to see them carried away by seeker swarms or die by getting shot in the head by a Collector. I got the 'No one left behind' achievment on my first playthrough. I was exstatic.

I wanted to buy the Liara clothes too but since you can't have blue skin or blue hair (and can't buy asari headpieces) it's kinda pointless

I love this!  My xbox live avatar also wears N7 armour.

Before Horizon, Ashley was Eileen's closest friend.

For now, Eileen is more or less committed to avoiding any and all close interpersonal entanglements; especially after her recent attempt to befriend Yeoman Chambers.

Eileen made the mistake of inquiring after Ms. Chambers' "interest" in aliens. Kelly proceeded to unwind a long, sordid history of (ahem) extraterrestrial exploits that evoked this reaction from Commander Shepard (hero of the Citadel):



Note to self: Don't let Ms. Chambers anywhere near my fish.

Wrex was unexpectedly Ella's best friend in ME1. And she hadn't even wanted to recruit him...

Then Mordin in ME2. The whole genophage thing messed w/her head a lot, thanks to how close she felt to them both.

And Tali and Garrus are practically adoptive siblings. ^_~

For my Melantha, Ashley was a very close friend...until Virmire. =( That choice messed her up a bit and she still hasn't completely dealt with having to make that decision. Melantha was just really close with most of the crew of the SR-1. Tali's the only one she never really became super close to and even that changed after Melantha's death.

The only new member of her crew that she really clicked with was Kasumi. It's amazing what having a bar in your room will do for a friendship. She's definitely starting to warm up to Miranda (though she's still apprehensive about the entire "being-dedicated-to-Cerberus-for-a-long-time" bit) and she likes Samara and Mordin well enough. That's not to say that she doesn't like the rest of them, but she's really closed herself off quite a bit from making any more emotional connections and she's the type who is usually quite open.

Just did the Bring Down The Sky with Brianna. She saved the hostages and let Balak go , but she'll find him at some point, then she'll kill him.  Even a paragon like her, would want to stop a madman like him, with her shotgun talking for her.
This would happen if somebody asked.
Brianna: I didn't do it.
Person: Then, who did?
Brianna: I don't know.
Person:
Brianna: Okay, I did it! He just killed so many people.
Person: Okay then. How?  
Brianna: I shot him.
Person: 
Brianna: Bye. *walks off*
Person: Wait, what?  Would a paragon like her really do that?  Now, I'm confused.

Another Shepard of mine that's really taken on a life of her own.  I've grown very fond of Moira over the process of doing her playthrough and making my video.

(I'm glad the timer doesn't start at the beginning of the Trench Run. I'm trying to kill enemies outside the Mako, but Kyrie's nowhere near lvl 60.)

ETA: I find it annoying that the "Sovereign and Geth attack" cutscene shows right before you start the run, so when it ends you have a chance of losing 2-3 seconds if you're not careful.

(Note to self: since I'm stealing from the last scenes of The Blues Brothers be sure to get screenshot of Kyrie staring at the overturned Mako.)
