I don't need boob armor, but I'm not a big fan of fake pecs pastede on either, lol. It looks ok on some characters, I'd probably be more inclined to use it without the glowy blue bits.

@Sable: ah, good old ME heavy armors had perfect shape IMHO compared to the boob armor as you called it.

For a change, I prepared few screens where Shepard's face isn't visible. I don't know why, I liked the idea, so I'm gonna throw a couple of them from time to time.

When just playing on casual with my latest playthrough with Kate for screenshots I went for the old school N7 armor for looks. It's still my favorite.

Liz however I'm playing on insanity so she gets armor mish mashed together for stats.  Thank god at least the colors match. I still have nightmares about some of the massively ugly gear my toons used to wear in WoW.

FemShep's Kestral armour breastplate is actually reminiscent of Samus Aran's powersuit, in that it avoids emphasising her breasts. I'm not really too concerned, to be honest, as each of my Shepards will wear the armour that I feel best suits her character, or her abilities.

Shep: so, tell me again how you guy's got into a fight?
Joker: She tried to tell me how to do my job, so I told her to take her stripper suit somewhere else, then she used biotics to spin my chair at high speeds.
Miranda; You Ass, I told you that your course was off and you told me to get back in the kitchen.
Joker: you liar, I should have listend to that 20th century song that said "Never trust a big but and a smile.
Shep: Why do I put up with this?

I prefer the Kestrel breastplate because it isn't a breast-plate. Seriously, boob armor FTL.  I actually think the Kestrel armor would be a lot more comfortable, too, especially when the alternative adds three cup sizes.

The new armors have really nice details, but I still miss the old medium and heavy armors from the 1st game.  (Well I don't miss them that much because I just mod them in, but whatever.)

Shep still has her womanly curves, but w/o the major bewbage the new chestplates seem to add.

Just throwing this out there for anyone inclined, but I just found out how super easy it is to turn the heavy n7 Shep wears in the intro into any of the heavy ME1 armors.  With texmod, it's a straight rip from the 1st game, no photoshop skills required (well, you'll need to know how to copy paste :P).
Medium's not so straightforward unfortunately, the armstripe adds some extra complications to the texture.

Eh?

I'd prefer a flat, more unisex breastplate over the Kestrel style. That's just me.

I do like the ME1 chest over the ME2 one.

Heavy armor was awesome, I was kinda mad that only soldiers got to use it, Vanguard's should have had to too cuz of their love for Close Quarters Combat.

I agree, the ME1 armors were pretty unique among sci-fi armor, and especially video game armor. They had a very utilitarian and realistic feel to them. ME2 has armor that's more detailed perhaps, but it feels just like a generic suit of video game power armor. But the best part about the old armors is how they didn't make special "concessions" for the female chest. They gave the women a heck of a figure (unless you consoled in the armors like the Specter and Hazard suits), but were not sexualized at all. I can't really say the same for any armor in ME2 except the Kestrel, and even the Kestrel, with all its glowy bits, seems like it would fit more in a Metroid game, as Les said earlier.

If I was Shepard, I'd definitely wear it.  It does look comfortable.  As long as it distributes any incoming force away from the tender boob area.

Ahaha, love the Kestrel body piece. Turning the pattern on makes it look really awesome plus actually looks as if it could be realistic. This kind of reminds me why I don't make my Shep wear the Inferno or Cerberus Assault armour though. Every time I see it on her I unintentionally say to myself, OUCH, 'they' must be so crushed right now.

Times like this, I really wish texmod worked with my PC. :( The antivirus gums it up and I'm not really sure how to fix it. I tried a few different ways, but none of them worked.

Bonus femShep for topic relevance:

Hi, just asking what are the codes for these armors and are they anymore (red/black Heavy - Col), love to add them to female Shepard pick list?

@ELE

That's awesome! I actually like the armor from both games. In ME1, I never really played on anything but Easy mode. Mostly because I wanted to wear the armor I liked for that character and not worry too much about min/maxing. I'll have to post some ME1 screenies of my ladies.

In ME2, I wear what I like for my characters and still play on Insanity. I'm just crazy, I guess.

Wee, managed finally figure out how to add the Onyx armor to ME2 (when I say I am dense, I mean it ._.)

Legion stole his armor from Conrad Vener 2.0 or something >.>

(An armored boob for Legion would have been awful and awesome, though)

It's just the one armor model BIOG_HMF_ARM_HVY_R.HVYb.HMF_ARM_HVYb_MDL

which looks like this

The different skins are texmods (pulled from the first game.)

I preferred the armour in ME1, even if some armours looked worse than others the model was still fitting, yet protective. She looked like a soldier and not some stripper with knockers that could fire bombs.

I do like the armours in ME2 as well, but it bugs me that some of the DLC armor, that look awesome on Shepard, don't have the "toggle helmet" option. I didn't spend so much time making her look good only to have it hidden behind a bloody helmet lol

@Yuki: Yay sexy Yuki-dwarf is back :D

The bewb armor doesn't bother me.  I just equip whatever armors go with my Shep's personalities.

Why hello there Shai. :) Ella had that same scar in ME1, the one from her eyebrow across her nose and down her cheek. Love that one.

Yes, the game is definitely in dire need of a helmet toggle. And yeah, she's back for now. I missed seeing her face around :P

Also, now my heavy armor is prettier thanks to ELE! Thanks so much :DD
