I don't bother speaking to Jacob through the entire game, apart from setting his loyalty mission in motion. As has been said by others,it's the way the line is delivered by femshep to trigger the conversation. I don't dislike Jacob as a character although he is a bit boring.

Nice picture, I really want to make a brown haired/eyed shep, all the ones I complete end up looking really bleak in game. That might just be me being overly analytical. In any case, love her!

I talk to Jacob at the very beginning, to start his mission and have the friends talk, looking out the window at the end. To be fair that end talk is probably one of my favourite pieces as it really seems like friends relaxing. The awkward inbetween I usually pass on.

Quick question as I have been looking at all the Fem Shepards, ho do you get access to clothing that is not intended for the characters, like Mirandas or even Jacks, also are there other haircuts then the ones shown, I like pony tails but only if there are bangs to go with them... Long live bangs.



Ive looked though the daabase but find that it is limited as well

Poor guy.  It's not his fault his romance is so awful.  There are a couple of good moments in there, but it's overshadowed by all the cringe-worthy lines from both him and FemShep.  I love him as a bro, though.  I love it when you bypass the romance and get the handshake/bro-hug thing from him.  Plus his line about getting loud and spilling drinks on the Citadel is probably my favorite lines in the game.

Still, my FemSheps think he's better as a friend.  Even for Kate, who slept with him, it was definitely a friends-with-benefits thing.

I think if the tone of the dialogue were changed, it'd be a lot better. Still kinda boring, but it wouldn't be as skeezy xD

I find like the male shepard, Jacob is reading his lines much like a child I might add. That and sometimes it's like his focus is all over the place like a child with ADHD.

yeah the writers royal screwed the guy in the romance deaprtment, how you take a guy from main character of his own mass effect game to internet meme sensation is beyond me although his good moments are as good as his bad moments are bad and he's the most stable guy on the entire Normandy.

I don't think he'd get nearly half the flak he does if femshep didn't use that voice on him.

How she made the word 'skin' into like four syllables...I dunno, but maybe she should get the Spike award just for that.

I'm the first one to argue for the good points of Mr.Taylor, but I don't deny a lot of his writing is godawful (which includes femshep's lines.)

This. I can't stand to listen to my FemSheps talking like that - it's completely out of character.

I've seen a lot screenshots of FemSheps in this scene and liked it so much that I wanted to have my own:

^That's a great spot to take a screen.  Femshep always looks intense there.  Probably fuming she's off doing TIM's bidding.

Here's my favorite femshep smile.  Right before it all goes to hell.



Thar' be Vera Rose Shepard. 
She ended up a little different from her 1st 2 versions, both looks and personality.  She's completely ruthless.  And not happy at waking up in Cerberus armor.

Ding!  I pounced on the reload button after I heard femshep use that voice on him and never went near that dialogue option again.

I did it specifically for that joke.  I hate that armor.  It makes her look fat.
