Haha. Her face is totally Thanks, grandma...I uhhh...love it *forced smile*

or something like "If I find this picture on the extranet, someone will be hurting..." :D

@jlb

Yes, she's my infiltrator.
Now starting my ME1 run.... but I'm having trouble there...

Her eyes and eyelashes glitch a LOT . Pretty much in every cutscene. Is really annoying and disrupts the immersion on the game. It didn't happen that much when I was creating her in ME2.
I'm about to start again and tweak the eye depth, the only thing I can think of without a major change. I dont know what to do.

Uh, I do, and I'm a woman?
I mean... I have to admit I feel scared of pissing off my fellow feminists sometimes, they would probably have my head. I love strong females, Ripley is one of my favorite characters ever and I'm always saying we need more Ripleys :P But I also love superficial things like sex appeal. I feel divided. Maybe it's cause I'm not straight. But I have no problems with Lara Croft (er actually I drool over Lara Croft), and while I think there should be limits to bouncing boobs, I'm a bit of a perv. I've been working on a pinup-type picture of my Shepard for months, but sometimes I'm REALLY scared of ever posting it anywhere, cause it's basically "glorified sexuality" and I don't wanna seem like a hypocrite.

Hmmm... Well, I guess my take is on if the female owns her sexuality or it's something that's pasted onto her - like, is it that it's part of who she is and she's still her own subject with likes, dislikes, etc. or has she completely become an object and we don't even bother thinking about her as a person?

For example, most of the ME women are really cool characters whose sexuality is a part of who they are. i mean, possibly the horniest woman in the game is Tali, and I don't find her overly sexualized at all. That annoying butt shot of Miri (with the "Investigate" option right over her crack) annoys me because it's just so blatant. It's like, let's ignore that this woman is possibly the most useful squaddie you've got. She's got a BUTT! take sometime like Liara's little wiggle when she's talking about her research in the debriefing room after rescuing her on therum. it calls attention to her figure, but it's not like it's weirdly out of place. it's sort of this unconcious moment of her being adorable. and tali managed to be super attractive to people and she shows the least skin out of everyone.

anyhow, my take. that's part of why i think femshep is a character who can romance anyone she wants and yet she doesn't seem like a mere piece of meat. you know her motivations for who she cares about and what she wants and she owns it. so, yeah, my take, anyhow.

I love it when you catch Shepard talking and it looks like a smile. It just makes me so happy. :D Speaking of, I made a new Shep (what? what! I needed one to go through ME1 with. I haven't actually played it without speed running through it for almost a year.) last night, and she's turned out to be... well... I find her all kinds of cute. Maybe because it's so damn difficult to actually get a serious cap of her.

Great to see femShep on that article! ^^

Anyway, this is the pinup I talked about on the previous page:
Image IPB
Cropped. There's not even a bra-thing originally, not to mention the ludicrous pose below her waist which I'm not showing yet (still working on it). I'd like to gauge how much it might displease some fans, cause I'm pretty sure it looks painted "from a male perspective" to say the least....
(Also let me know if I do something I shouldn't on this thread, please)

*Edit: Sagequeen, thanks for the input there. I too felt like Miranda's "BUTT ON YER FACE" was a bit much >_>

Kind looking Shep, I like.

After the hell I went through making custom Shep that I like, I made sure to write down the slider positions and ME2 face code. I'm not even going to try making custom male Shep (well, I did try briefly but they all looked pre humans) and it would feel the same to play with new Sheps.

First time when I didn't choose paragon option or goodbye:

That reminds me... I have to try running circles around that twilek dancer when I play KOTOR next time.

Yeah, FemShep doesn't fall within the women characters' average: women's sexualization appears too often nowadays. It seems how if feminine role is showing the ass and taking sexualized postures. Sometimes OK, but doesn't take that way how if it is already implied in women characters.
This, with FemShep really doesn't happen but with other ME feminine characters, it seems...fail sometimes.

Speaking of videos, I'm thinking of doing remakes of my Garrus/FemShep and Liara/FemShep pieces. I'd leave up the old ones, of course. Hope no one would object.  I just feel like I've gotten into a good vibe creatively and have ideas on how to make them more interesting.

They'd still have the same music and a lot of the same footage, but some changes here and there... maybe some audio or intros.

Why would we object ? First, those are your vids and second, you're getting more proficient each time, so they'll get better ;)

Ummm, I don't.  But I can't speak for everyone.  I'm also a fan of the pinup style (Vargas, Elvgren) and have nothing against good old fashioned eyecandy.  It is what it is.

So I don't think portraying femshep sexually is in itself demeaning...it really depends on the context.  She's tough and a leader and a hero...but she's still a woman and all that can entail.  I personally don't find what you've shown to be offensive.  The female form can be beautiful and tasteful.  Huzzah.  Points you towards the NSFW group thread (edit - I would say that's the appropriate place to share any remotely questionable content. If you're concerned about it, it also eliminates the risk of alienating or offending anyone here in the general thread that would object to that sort of thing.)

Just to clarify, I don't think what you've shared above is NSFW.
Just mentioning it for future reference since you said the rest is more explicit.

I think as long as there is no nudity, it's okay to just post a link if the content might be construed as suggestive.

I dunno.  I defer to popular opinion.  Just my 2c.

I don't refer to art creations, I don't worry about this, each one makes what she want and it maybe like or not, OK.

What I refer is that if these creations appears in the game, for example, then it worrys to me,

because it could imply that way I post before.

Oh okay. Just wanted to be on the safe side ^^;
The rest is less explicit, actually, but it looks sort of a ridiculously forced girly pose, comical. It's just the way she's sitting isn't realistic and I fear people will go "Shepard's not supposed to be like that", heh.
