I'm generally pretty cynical about video game journalism, but N'Gai Croal is always thought provoking and interesting.  It's awesome that he acknowledges this issue.

That was awesome to hear.  I know I don't have to depend on anyone's validation to enjoy femShep (or Mass Effect in general), but I have to admit that hearing an industry "name", so to speak, support not only Hale appearing in the marketing campaign but Mass Effect 2 itself as the top game of the last three years gave me a little thrill of "damn straight"ness.
I like that guy a lot now.

Yup, it's part of the armor mods I have, the earrings are in place of the shoulders.

That would be my choice of armor for Kaidan as well.

Well I'm pretty much done with my new Shepard. The suicide mission is done, I just have a couple of things left to finish off (Zaeed's loyalty mission, chat with Liara on the Normandy, etc) and that's it. I really hope some new DLC is announced soon.

Jacob's face looks a bit odd in this shot. Maybe he knows he's about to buy it?

Medium Guardian looks pretty damn good on Ashley as well, though I've moved her to Colossus. I think I like Ursa best for Liara. (those two are my team of choice:)

It is a good news, but I think it will have no effect in bioware's plans. Just seeing the reaction of others when N' Gai says it....

Kasumi is the most fun squadmate there is. She's not in the military so she's not at all uptight and she great at socializing so there's no awkwardness there and she's just so spunky. I wishs he'd been on me1 that would have been some HILARIOUS elevator dialog between her and the other 6 squaddies. XD

Why not tie femShep back into the subject of Kasumi?

It may just be me, but I think the dynamic between Kasumi and femShep is a lot better than with manShep.  With manShep, Kasumi's cheekiness almost seems like flirtation, but it never goes anywhere.  The dynamic between her and femShep is... different somehow, and I can't put my finger on why. I'm sure Hale's voice acting has the most to do with it, but Kasumi pointedly glancing at femShep's chest with her "you look great" line gives their relationship a different quality than with manShep, almost as if Kasumi is a little envious of femShep, somehow.  I dunno, maybe I'm reading way too much into this.
