Since the topic is basicly ME3, after the Reapers gone, what would your FemShep(s) do?
Well,

I happen to like Big Ben. That said, it would've been interesting to see them use a woman. I dunno; it'd have been neat, but if they were using him for what a lot of people seem to think (just some random guy on Earth, showing what's going on, with no significance whatsoever), using a woman wouldn't have ended well. As then even more people would be clambering to have her on their squad, only to be disappointed. This way, he's just "some guy," not some awesome, badass female sniper who's awesome and badass. Which is extremely hypocritical and slightly sexist, imo, but hey.
Yeah, I understand and agree that it would've been a great opportunity to use a female, but I imagine everyone and their mother would be crying out for her to be on their squad/a potential LI if that happened. Even more so than they're doing with Big Ben. Plus, I'm sure we'll get a few new, brilliant female characters for ME3. BioWare has a penchant for great, strong females.rynluna wrote...
I meant more in a promotional kind of way. That trailer has been seen by hundreds of thousands of people by now and an opportunity was missed in finally showcasing a woman. It would have been a great nod to us FemShep fans.Calla S wrote...

Thanks. I made her single on purpose (although he does let Kelly come up to the cabin every once in a while) and it was depressing to see the friendly ending to LoTSB cuz Shep is so down when Liara leaves. Although it'd be difficult I'd ahve loved it if LoTSB was constantly updated through the internet since it's an information Center. and Ali Hill's had some extra dialogue recorded for the updates.kommanderkat wrote...
@AD
Angela sorta sounds like Brianna. Once imported into ME2 she will confront the one she likes. Then if all goes right, visit her friends homeworlds (she's always wanted to see other worlds, since she has been stuck on space stations all her life)

Hi everyone,
this is Linda Shepard.
Started her as a Vanguard in ME1 and imported her in ME2 as soldier.
Enjoying the Femshep playthrough very much.

They were made in good humor but I do feel this way.
There should have been a better ending for those of us who had other LI's isntead of sad sheps.Chignon wrote...

They should've at least mentioned Ash and Kaidan.
Bah, the Virmire Survivor! BioWare has dismissed these claims!

I'm still hopeful for the VS DLC since we've got a year until ME3. that or lazerus project to revive the person we kile don virmire, that'd be awesome!(and crazy)Chignon wrote...

As for female characters in marketing, I remember Priestly saying that they were always "pushing" for that, but then went on to explain how it isn't realistic that a game with a predominantly female cast or, indeed, a female protagonist would prove popular enough to draw in a male audience.
Which, as we all know, is rubbish.

Adneate, if you were going to slag him off (even in good humor), you might've at least done it with a base of your own making. I made those for people who would actually like having him around.

Made this for my femShep who's going through both games without an LI.

You're very welcome, ELE.ELE08 wrote...

Personally, I fail to see how being female automatically makes a character more compelling. We would still know next to nothing about random-sniper if they had a vagina. It would have been a good trailer either way, in my opinion. Sometimes a trailer is just a trailer.
And a tolls a toll. And if we don't get no tolls, we don't get no rolls...whatever.
