As much as I adore femShep, I think the recent trailer has more or less induced ME apathy in me. It's all big guns and explosions, cementing BioWare's new-found focus on action over substance, which probably means we will never see femShep's true story-based development brought to a close. Instead we will see: "Shepard beats down enemies Game 3". But after how ME2 was handled I am not sure I am all that surprised. Pity - going from ME1, this series and Shepard as a character could have been so much more.

I agree, but thats the beauty of DLC. Although im not sure how it will be handled in ME3 im sure there will be some softer round everything up story/emotionally finishes to the game. It will be interesting to see what happens

That's whay God created fanfic.
In all seriousness I see your point. As much as I liked the trailer/teaser/whatever it did have an heir of “let’s hurry Shep out the door so we can get on w/ the MP/FPS ME franchises.”

Hello. I am new to the site. Just would like to show my support for FemShep. I have my main Shep Lili, who I will have to get pictures of since I have none!
Well I joined the group, both FemShep and Jennifer Hale. I think that Ms.Hale should have won i the VGAs by the way...
Oh, I got through the entire thread. Nice FemSheps, blogs and videos.
More about Lili, well she's a vanguard, earthborn, ruthless, renegade. She has blue eyes and blond hair. Her armor is white and blue. She never had an LI in ME1 but in ME2 her LI was Garrus. Anything else you would like to know, just ask. I'll get some pictures soon and post 'em.
Welcome to the site and thread Shadow Soul

I also meant to post an alternate version without my femshep link
Download for full 1920x1080 rez
Steal it, use it, stick your own femshep in it...
I posted a folder of decent quality screen grabs from the trailer as well for y'all to use album link
- I also went ahead an included the view of earth burning with Sheploo already removed from the shot here

I would much rather see BioWare concentrate on giving femShep her own animations and making sure all the sound effects and interactions play out properly for her like it does for manShep, anyway.
I agree. I would prefer they create a gaming experience for FemShep that's just as good as MaleShep instead of making a two minute trailer that I'll forget about in a few months.

If your figure it out, can I get one for Avery and/or Meghan? Pretty please with Kaidan on top? (Or bottom.)

I'm still optimistic that the actual story will receive a lot of attention. What we got the other day was a teaser trailer that's designed to catch attention and get people talking. Hopefully once they release the full length trailers we'll have a better idea of what the actual game will be like.

Welcome to the site and thread Shadow Souldont worry I think were all in agreement with VGA's but the competition was good in there! Looking forward to seeing some snaps of Lili, she sounds very similar to one of my femsheps actually!
Thanks. She does? In what ways?
I'll work on the photos ASAP. I'm also working on a story for her, just so she has more depth to why she is the way she is. If that makes any sense.
Here is some more info on Lili...
-Lili took Liara and Garrus alot on missions in ME1, then Kasumi and Garrus in ME2, sometimes Jack and Kasumi tho.
-After the Reapers are gone, she'd like to stay on the Normandy or she would like to party, shore leave and then just be with her LI.
-I don't have any iconic pics, but if I did it would have to be where she cracks her knuckles right before recruiting Garrus. Or the LotSB pic that is on the wallpaper JamieCOTC made.

Well one my femsheps, also has blonde hair blue eyes, is a biotic and romanced Garrus. Plus she always had Kasumi as a squad mate too! She doesnt mind blonde wise cracks though because it normally her gun that does all tha' talking and their just jealous anyway!
I havent posted pics of her yet on here, so I will have to go off and take a few snaps too!

I see your point but me3 is pretty much War and war is big guns and explosions and we're gonna need some big guns to kill more reapers than we have in the past 2 games combined especially since they're attacking the human homeworld. I'm sure that since they have a year there'll be some great stuff plot wise there'll be some politics added in, the final steps to characters development and some aweseom twists thrown in. I'm still going by my Theory that amss effect 3 will have 3 discs since ME1 had 1 and Me2 had 2.Delerius_Jedi wrote...

They should've at least mentioned Ash and Kaidan.
Bah, the Virmire Survivor! BioWare has dismissed these claims!
Y'know the saying 'save the best for last?'
I expect something along the lines of epic for the VS. If not.....seriously Bioware? Seriously? Way to leave the Kaidan-mancers hanging.
BUT I AM THE ETERNAL OPTIMIST. So I'm rooting for you ladies who want some CLOSURE in your Kaidan romance. You deserve some time with Kaidan and it'd be great for Cam to see Ash again, and then get all snarky.
Ah....good times.....
thanks sky. i am optimistic, too.
truly, i have middling expectations at this point. i highly doubt a DA:O style wtf? ending is in the cards, as i don't think the shooter crowd would appreciate it much. da:o was aimed at the serious RP crowd, and for that reason went the way of the dark fantasy novel. while i think a sad ending will likely be possible (in the same way that you could romance kaidan/ashley and lose them on virmire or romance thane/garrus/tali, etc. and lose them in the suicide mission) i think most likely a ending where shep and shep's chosen LI live is very likely.
whether shep gets a story of deep emotional weight and a satisfying reunion with the LI is completely up for grabs. at this point, so long at it happens - on ANY level - i will likely be okay. the more they do towards that, the happier i will be.
as jamie said, this is why god made fanfic.
speaking of which, i REALLY need to update my fanfic.
and re: big ben. okay, i'll say it and then be done. i find speculation like this...annoying. i feel like we have existing characters that i already care about and little to nothing has been said about their fate - kaidan/ash, thane, the migrant fleet, the krogan issues, if mordin will live long enough to see the end of the final battle.
then a new guy shows up and a bandwagon gets made just for him. it really confirms everything bioware seems to think: that if they wave enough shiny toys at their audience, everyone will completely ignore the remaining flaws in their storytelling.
okay. i'm done with my snarky rant. but there it is. sorry for being grouchy about that, but i just want to see existing characters done justice. new guy is cool for sniping a husk and all, but otherwise, i don't much care.
