Regarding that wallpaper:

I recognize that. It's from Hellgate London. Looks cool, though.
It certainly fits the theme of where London might be headed. Husks, Abominations and Scions, oh my!
Good eye, guys. Here's a little behind-the-scenes.
My original goal was to have the space scene, with FemShepard looking down from the observation deck, like at the end of the ME3 debut trailer. Of course, ManShep was standing in the way, but I thought maybe I could just cover him up. I was wrong.
So London was actually my 2nd choice, but in retrospect it was also the right choice. I didn't want to compete head-to-head with the ME3 debut's final scene, but definitely wanted to connect with the trailer somehow. I opened my Pictures folder, did a search for London, et voila!
There was one underlying theme I took from the trailer. It's that the whole thing is deliberately ambiguous. FemShepard is looking down, her hands at her sides. Is she just tired? Is she looking down at the dried Thames? Is she mad at the Reapers? Is she sad because she feels responsible?
This FemShepard isn't my FemShepard (although I made this to Frap the screen)...the point is it's as universal as a FemShepard could be. Slightly long hair that could be red, ginger, brunette or blonde in the orange light, it could be many of your designs. She looks like...whatever you think she looks like.
So this is a static wallpaper, but it's still a bit of a roleplaying experience. What's Shepard feeling? That's up to how you think she feels. What does she look like? That's also up to what you think she looks like. It's really hard to be as open-ended as that.
And I think this is why
Jennifer Hale succeeds at the role of FemShepard. She isn't playing one character, she's performing as ALL our characters. I think the open-ended ambiguity is much more difficult in acting than making a wallpaper.
