This question was asked few times, but I've never give it at thought.Shadow_Soul wrote...
I was just wondering if people had a song that represented their FemShep-s-. If you do, what is it?
I'd pick two themes on the start, seemingly similiar in "structure" but both bringing different feelings.
Gregson-Williams: "Fortune": the main saxophone line brings a level of uncertainty to the song, and after a dynamic, militaristic part, it comes back, like feelings of unrest in a moment of inner silence. Shepard, a survivor, person once broken by guilt, finds strenght and determination, but is still haunted by doubts.
Faunts: "Twenty-Three" is much more warmer and becomes stirring at 4:50, and I guess it would represent romantic feelings - calm intro, turbulent middle, and somehow dissapointing end, a sign of "something went wrong".
If I'd ever want to make a video of my Shep, I'd go for futuristic sounds, thou I love themes like Michael McCann's "Icarus" (Deus Ex), or Kenji Kawai's work, I don't have a specific favorite. Then, maybe Dismantled, FLA or Icon of Coil. Something fast, dynamic, but not too dramatic. If dramatic, PtakY's "Chroń to co masz". It's Polish and has this catchy "defend what you have, fight if you have to, fight for your fragile life" line.
