My question to all of you, then, is how does your FemShep cope with stressful and/or traumatic events?
as colonist: I guess some kids are just lucky or the perspective of joining Alliance and getting some kind of revenge shut down the guilt and Marge focused on her life as a soldier. And as every other Shepard, she was damn good as one.
as survivor: This is where the Mindoir surfaced amongst other things. But I imagine future psychology and medicine work slighthy better than today and any kind of therapy Shepard recieved was enough to keep her going. What I observed in ME1, Shepard used the "It's not your fault. You couldn't do anything about xxx" line in that form or another few times and was really convincing. When Kaidan told her the same about Jenkins, I accepted there are just people like her, and she will be strong no matter what.
Then again, as the game progressed, I imagined she's realizing that Eden Prime changed something, broke even. That her decisions are somehow wrong, even if justified. That she dropped her guard down and involved Alenko in some kind of a mess she was trying to avoid. That she lost Ashley because of it. Then the world was ending, so why the hell not share some of this burden with someone.
current Shepard: work, work, work... Oh, Ilos... Work your as
s off.
So, nothing special. She's just good at lying to herself.
