I prefer Femshep in armor, she's female but she is also a soilder.
I use the old school N7 amor on Kate, I don't think it makes her look manly or unattractive at all.

She looks gorgeous, Shenzi!

Miranda, Jack and Samara running around in their "sexy" outfits in combat to me just seem utterly ridiculous.

Exactly how I felt when I went back to ME1 after ME2. It's unfortunate.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
I'm currently playing through ME1. Words cannot describe the extent of which I miss FemShep's unique animations, and how exasperated I am that they were removed in ME2.
The manwalk is just plain awful. : (
Yeah, I want proper squad mates, not hookers with guns. I actually bought the appearance pack just to give Jack proper clothes. 0_o Still, those aren't good in space, though.Aeowyn wrote...
From a combat pov, wouldn't the shoulder armour be in the way? I miss the ME1 armour.
And like so many others have stated here, I hate the ridiculous excuse of "armour" that Jack, Miranda and Samara wear. And the fact that they don't even have proper masks when they're out in space/area with no gravity. Seriously, it's ridiculous, and it's practically one of the reasons why I never bring them on missions.

Does Jacob wear a full helmet either, ever? To be honest, I don't really take him around a lot.
Nope. I actually just opened up the game to check this xD
~shakes head~ That's just ... words fail.
And where's the oxygen tank...Aeowyn wrote...

That's just stupid. The eyes will pop out of your head if you don't wear a proper helmet out in space. They must all have some kind of super power we were not aware of.

I don't really have that much issue with (most of) the ME2 armor pieces. I did mod in the ME1 style armor but I didn't keep it on my character. As for the other characters... I'm not too fond of calling them sl*tty or hookers. They could have at least given them helmets or even space catsuits without the boob panels. I'm looking at you too, Thane of the space trenchcoat and low-cut top xD Funny how the male aliens get full helmets but the women (and Jacob) have to show off their looks and their bodies at all times.

Oh well, I think this looks fine.
(Though looking at how slight Shepard is makes me laugh at that stupid post from yesterday about female Shepard looking doughy and fat with wide hips. Sigh.)

Suspension of belief, I use it. Haha. I just make up a reason in my head, like they have some kind of advanced shielding to protect them from the elements or vacuum.
And Thane's outfit... well, I have no objections to that. Neither does Holly:
