I don't know why but I found that gmod (finally figured out what that stood for. I was like....GodMod?) of Garrus, Tali and Vera to be....I dunno...ADORABLE.
I don't know what it is about it, but the whole 'layed back, looking up at the stars' feels gets to me, and in a good way. These three are great buddies (maybe more in your Shep's case with Garrus) and I get that vibe from that picture. Perhaps it's just the way that they're situated in the pic, I dunno. Regardless, I love it, even if it's not the feel you were going for.

That and boredom. Hehe. I like thinking about the gang just hanging around doing normal stuff, like chatting or eating or surfing the extranet, because we'll never see that stuff in-game (because it would be BORING) and it makes me feel like they're more alive. I figure there's hours between mass relays. The crew has to talk to each other, right?
And Vera and Garrus are just war buddies. I find the idea of him breaking the fourth wall and knowing so many femsheps want him amusing.
