Actually, I got my dirty mind from hanging with my friends, most of whom are women.

But that's not a topic for the femShep boards, now is it.

Surprisingly, in my last file I managed to play Jacob's romance when Femshep was not foaming at the mouth for his some of his good stuff, ahem, I mean abs. If you flip around the dialogue choices and initiate discussion with neutral options than toss in a paragon one. It is more flirtatious and less cat in heat. Do it straight Paragon and I am waiting for Jacob to say something like "down kitty."

Besides a good stress release is terrifying the holy hell out of everyone sometimes. Renegades do have their moments.

See, I could try and do that. I'm currently on another playthrough (because I'm sort of stuck on how to develop a scene in the next chapter of my fanfic. Gah, writer's block on the first chapter....)

I could actually see Jacob as a good friend to Cam or to any Shep. But....Hale's....dialouge....

Even the "I'm more interested in talking for a bit" part....( I can imagine Hale quietly mouthing 'Really? REALLY?" and pointing a thumb at her script. I know I would be.)

I tried Jacob's romance with a non-import Shepard. Then I broke up with him for Thane and cringed at Shepard's "I'm cleaning house so I can get to know Thane better." line and then I deleted her.

Y'know, someone on FF.net came up with the idea that Garrus' calbirations are a coping mechanism for him, so he doesn't have to think about his squad or how he screwed things up with them, at least that was my interpretation.

My god yesterday (two days ago? *checks clock*) I walked up to Jacob to see what he would say after I blew the base sky high.
Him and Shep did this RIDICULOUS bro-slap thing that knocked me over laughing for a good ten minutes.  
I really have to go back and find that now...

My CanonShep has no LI ("I'm so alooooooone" ;3; ). The reason, actually, is precisely because none of the romances -at least, the ones in ME1- seemed like Shep and her (or his) designated romantic interest were on even footing. It made me feel uncomfortable.

This is how I feel with current Shep Vera.  She's intelligent and ruthless and needs a specific kind of man...which may need to be written in by moi post ME3 if she's to get any love at all.

I love all the mass effect characters, buuuut in relation to Vera:

Kaidan - Is a no go because Vera would never complicate the chain of command.  Her command-personality inspires a mix of respect and fear.  He's also not her type.  She's assertive and sometimes lacks tact.  I think she would just steamroll over poor Kaidan, who is more soft spoken and reserved.

Garrus - They seem to agree on most things and have a good dynamic, but she's not attracted to turians (even awesome space batman turians) so they are more 'brothers in arms'.  He's her bro.

Jacob - His alliance background makes him feel subordinate to Shepard.  The fact he won't stop saluting doesn't help.  He also hasn't figured himself out yet.  I can only see Vera getting involved with someone with a will to match her own.  Too much baggage despite his protestations of having none.

Thane - She doesn't relate to his spiritual side.  Besides that they have zero in common.

Who would be perfect for her?  Maybe the mutant offspring of Jason Bourne, John Casey (Chuck) and Michael Westen (Burn Notice).

Ugh, those lines make me feel bad.  Apparently I have no problem taking every renegade decision in the game, but just watching those makes me cringe.  Shep's a terrible person.

Yeah, I ended up really disliking that character and deleting her right after. Not to mention I wasn't really playing her for any real reason and she just had the default everything (not that the default face is bad, I just didn't care enough to customize her). If you're gonna dump him, they could at least give you the option to let him down in a more gentle fashion rather than "I'm cleaning house."

@Aislinn- Yeah, it always makes me feel bad but alas...

Honestly, breaking up with Jack is probably the most pointlessly cruel thing you can do in the entire game. I am serious. Shepard's dialogue basically can be summarized, "I am tired of fixing you." And it gets worse. Watching it was thinking, "Dude... that was just... cold." Why is it so needlessly cruel? You can do the aforementioned during the scene in your quarters. You know, the scene where she is already in tears? Yeah... if you feel bad easily. Never watch that scene.

Tali and Garrus' are gentle and somewhat mutually. With Tali, it is concern for her health and with Garrus you both agree you are better off friends. I have yet to drop Miranda or Thane and Jacob spews off about Garrus.

I semi-tried to avoid romancing Kaidan with Kate but I kept bouncing back and forth between the mean lines and the neutral ones and still ended up with him.  It actually ended up defining Kate's very touch-and-go tempermental personality.  One minute she's coldly snapping at Kaidan to mind his own business or fall in line, the next minute she's apologizing and unconsciously flirting with him.



Oh, Kate.  You're a heaping bundle of crazy but I love you.  I hate the Engineer class, but you still might be my favorite Shep.
