Well, against my initial "wait 'till I beat ME3" policy on new Shepards, I started a FemShep playthrough. I have to agree, Hale's voice acting is better than Meer's, though I still don't think Meer is bad. Also, I agree that Shepard's personality comes through a little better as a female.

Depends on what I'm planning on accomplishing during that playthrough.

Canon playthrough - went to noveria first because I was dumb and wanted to make my life harder than it had to be <_<. Got liara last because I was dreading having to tell her that I kill her mom. The scene was hilarious though since she thought I was a hallucination.

2nd playthrough - was much smarter and did what I consider the ideal order: Get liara, liberate feros, go to noveria (and bring liara with you). Emotionally and gameplay-wise it was much more satisfying.

3rd playthrough - since this was supposed to be renegade I completely metagamed and saved Liara's for last, doing Feros first.  Why? Because I knew renegade was going to be a struggle for me, especially when innocent ol' Liara came aboard and I didn't want to have to be a dick and say "I don't trust you" when we went to noveria. Just wanted to make my life a little easier.

I always go to Therum first, then Noveria, Feros and Virmire last. It seems to flow well for me, anyway.

Those are my favorite eyes to use (Holly, Aislinn and MacKenzie have them). I like her scamper, the eyebrows really give her this sad expression.

I always play UJ as being quite logical and getting Liara on board first seems like the most logical first step.

@scamper - She's very pretty and unusual. Like Chig said, it's the sad eyes, a nice touch.

Edit: There should be a Colonist/Sole Survivor support group.

Based on the dialogue in the game and the conversations that can be essentially repeated at certain points in the game, I think the original Mass Effect was designed to be on rails as far as story missions go, much like Mass Effect 2 turned out to be.  The order that seems to fit the evidence best is Feros>Therum>Virmire>Noveria (which also makes the most sense story-wise, there's no reason once Saren finds the location of the Mu relay that wouldn't gun right for the Conduit).  Jessica's canon, though, goes Feros (because it's a colony we know for a fact is under attack by geth right now), Therum and Noveria (because it just seems wrong not to have Liara there to speak with her mother), Virmire (because, again, it just seems wrong not to put Virmire off as long as possible).

Her past definitely haunts her. She has kind of a double whammy losing her family and then her entire unit. She's come to see her name as some kind of cosmic joke. But, she's also a bit of a smartass as well. She did spend 16 years with a relatively happy childhood having to overcome her name.

IDK why but when I last played me1 (borrowed a freinds disc) my last two playthroughs were Feros, Noveria, Virmire then Therum. It jsut seemed like a cool plot point to just Have Liara come onboard last to replace whoever doesn't make it off of Virmire (and it's kind of funny explaining what happens to the protheans to her and sad that I had to kill her mother without her.)

I used that same order on my main playthrough. I think it makes the most sense given the information Shepard has about all those destinations at the time.

THIS oh this! Kallen and Novae Rog got them some Ashley thanks to gibbed I wonder how that'll playout when i get me3 for the PC a few months after it comes out so I don't end up playing 130$ for the same game.

I usually do Therum, Feros, Noveria, Virmire.  I like leaving Virmire for last.

My very first playthrough, I left Therum for last because I got confused.  When I went into the Artemis Tau cluster, I figured Liara was in the first solar system you could click on and ended up on the planet where you find Admiral Kahoku's men and the thresher maw.  The thresher maw tore me a new one so many times that I finally gave up and said "FINE!  Liara can stay on her stupid planet!"  Then I went and played the rest of the game and was a bit embarrassed to find that Liara was in an entirely different system.
