I see - what scar did you chose for her in ME1?

I wish I had thought of anything like that when I created Noah - but I didn't. ):

She didn't have any scars on her face.  But there was a long jagged one along her ribcage.  And bad, round one from a knife someone shoved in her back under her lowest rib.  Just barely missed vital things.  She had a few gunshot wounds on her left leg.  One of which she almost bled out from.  And another long, ugly one down her right arm that nearly rendered her arm useless.

Cerberus, of course, erased those.

But restored her tattoo.

Oooh!  ToP Meg Screenie!

Does Meghan miss her scars or is she glad they are gone?

They were lessons. Lessons she needed to learn. She misses a few of them. The one along her ribcage, for instance, was the one that taught her revenge was never good -- it cost her the life of a good friend -- that scar was his memorial. The one along her forearm was to not be so trusting and that keeping your enemies closer only works if you frisk them for weapons first.

The gunshot wounds and the knife wounds were just lessons in caution. They... didn't really take. Those she doesn't miss.

Thanks for getting me to think about that, btw. I'd only half thought about her scars before. What about Noah?

You're welcome - I enjoyed learning more about them.  It's always interesting to see what different players come up with for their Shepards. Image IPB

I have to confess that Noah didn't have a scar before- I added one in a later playthrough. This one to be exact:

I'd imagine that she got it in a fight with Finch. They ... didn't see eye to eye most of the time - about her role in the Tenth Street Reds, among other things. I figured they'd think her talent could be valuable to them. He managed to catch her off guard before she had even thought to use her biotics. But, as with Meghan, it taught her a lesson.

I've actually become so accustomed to Noah using Ashley's hairstyle, it looks strange to see her wearing her old ME1 hair. Regardless, she's still very pretty!

Thank you, Les! I like to think it grew out - well, I have to ignore the whole dying and resurrecting business in ME2 but it's not that hard since the game does a decent job at that, too.

Heh, Finch was the forearm.  She had no problem turning him in.

Well Shep could have only been dead for a few months and Comatose the rest of the period since they never did say how long it took to get her mind back to the way it was so, in theory, her hair could have grown in the time before she awoke during Wilsons betrayl.Image IPB

You're right - the timeline is very open for interpretation.

Really awesome photo manips! I love the whole noir sin city style.

As for Finch, MacKenzie turned him in and Moira blew him away.

They do say that rudimentary neurological function and basic metabolic processes were restarted before they even started pumping Shepard full of cybernetics. If blood is flowing and Shepard is being "fed" something to keep her from starving to death it follows that she would be growing hair and fingernails and all that good stuff that happens when you're "alive". So it's not unlikely for Shepard to wake-up with a full head of hair that might even be longer now than it was two years ago, since all the styles seem to have have gotten a little bit longer in the sequel anyway.

Meghan didn't shoot him because I didn't know you could at the time.  Now, I reason it away with: Kaidan was there, the angel on her shoulder, and then there was the C-Sec cop on her other shoulder....

Didn't seem like a good idea.

Just imagine all the FemSheps in a Film Noir movie. <3

Thank you. :)

As for Finch. Hrist shot him in the face. She doesn't take kindly to threats.

Same with Jih. Finch should've known better.

femShep film noir style, eh? You know, now I really would like a piece of femShep as the classic film noir femme fatale, like in the old Bogart films. I think she'd make a good "dame".

So I've got music picked out for a FemShep noir piece. My question for you, though, is which one of my Sheps would you like to see? I'm thinking either Moira, Holly or Constance would fit nicely...maybe even Aislinn.

Constance, because I think she carries a certain air of sophistication, whilst also having something of an edge to her.

The fact that she romances a certain asari has no effect on my suggestion, of course.

Holly - she has the classic beauty of a 1940s movie star. Image IPB

While I would like to back up my fellow Liara fan I gotta agree with Chignon on this one. Sorry Les.

This thread moves fast.  Every time I leave for a bit it moves seventeen pages ahead...

And it looks like I missed Firefly references... :(

AAAAAnyway, I just put up the first chapter of something I've been working on.  Hope you all like it!

As for all this noir...
AWESOME! :o I cannot wait until Aislinn puts out this next vid.  It will be wonderful.  I know it.  :wizard:

My vote goes to Holly. She could totally carry it.
