All the noir and Sin City style (not the same thing ) femSheps are very cool to see.  I can't believe all the artistic talent on this thread.



re: scars, Jessica's is from when she caught a ricochet during the Blitz on Elysium.  It nearly knocked her unconscious, but she recovered and fought on, sighting her rifle opposite-eye with blood pouring down her face.  The Alliance's medical technology could have easily repaired it but she flatly refused.  To her it's the badge marking the moment she left behind Shepard, street-scum, and became Shepard, Alliance hero.

Just another on the long list of things Cerberus and the Collectors took from her.

Indeed.  Sometimes I'm glad I don't have Photoshop skills.  I'd be spending all my time making photomanips based on ideas I get from this thread.

(Must admit an extra 'WOW' for Chignon's Gangster Shenko.  That red lipstick on Noah, Kaidan's hat... just wow.)

Ella's scar (the eyebrow/nose-crossing one) was from the artillery strike on Mindoir.  (I was all thrilled, come I Remember Me that the story in my head for her actually fit the backstory they gave me half way through the game.  Meshed perfectly with the phobia I already thought she had.  Serendipitous.)

She hates mirrors in ME2.  Every time she sees her face without the scar she feels like she's betraying her family's memory by not having it there.  Is very distressing.

'Kay, another question for you guys, while my laundry's in the dryer.
I'll probably do some Noir Effect phoomanips when I get home and can actually take decent screenshots. But I'm also doodling some stuff.
I have two ideas, and I require your guidance as to which I should go with. (I could always do both, but it'd take longer.)

One is FemShep leaning against a lamppost (...yes I know there are no lampposts in Mass Effect) with a shot of... I don't know, maybe Illium in the background. And rain. Noir practically demands rain.
The other's a play on the 'deadly little Miho' poster for Sin City, and it involves posing with a trench knife (and mandatory bloodsplatter).



EDIT: Holy shirt, Kaiden just became about eight times more attractive. FEDORAAAAAAAAA

I'd go with this idea. There are barely any pictures, screenshots or photomanips where it's raining - except for the occassional Pragia shot - so I'd be curious to see how you'd pull it off.
