As for the music, I was thinking about something more futuristic and picked one of Robyn's latests, but in the end I decided to make the vid longer (twice) and ended up with Stardust from 1998. I'm sentimental and it worked with the atmosphere. It would work with the dancing turian too. Oh look, it's glitter!

The only happy ending per se is marrying Alistair and even that comes with consequences. While it would be nice if Mass Effect's conclusion was somewhat ambiguous and left to player intreperation. Were I a conspiracy theorists I would take note of the trailer in which some gritty generic space marine grunt is the bigger player than Shep . Could be there are already pushing her out the door.  I could believe that, if I were a conspiracy theorist. 

DA:O was the straw that broke the ambiguity camel for me.  I’m really tired of games where the hero just wanders off, never to be seen from again.  Part of that is how they handled DLC, but that’s another thread.  I don’t need know everything that happens in Shep’s life after the Reapers, certainly not, but I do want a definite ending.  Something like the multiple KOTOR endings would be most welcome, perhaps with just tad more detail.  If Shep dies, fine, If Shep lives, fine, but no wandering off.

My preferred ending is that Shep dies and wakes up in a Viking ship bound for another land.  She reaches that land.  On the shore waiting for her is the Warden, the Knight Captain, the Spirit Monk and others who have gone on before.  Sort of a LOTR ending w/ a twist.  I know, most people would hate it, but that’s just me.

I really, really doubt they'd make it mandatory (although let's face it, it's well in the realm of possibility and it would make sense.) What I foresee is an optional ending with a heroic sacrifice on Shepard's part. Not like ME2's "lulz epic fail!" death scene, but something far more meaningful and emotionally compelling.

Considering that the Revan was supposed to dance well in that situation... Revan did suck at dancing.

Nice video! I liked it. Kaidan's dancing makes me chuckle. Never had him and Trista dance together. I sort of forgot about it on most of my playthroughs. You made that in Vegas, correct? I recognize some of the effects. It was cute.

What combet style does your FemShep favor? (swords, hand-to-hand, guns etc.) I mainly need this for my story. I have many rounds to write yet, but want to make an ending that is amazing. Like 2 fight, with hand-to-hand or a sword duel. Thanks.

I can see it now ...

On the eve of battle the Illusive Man comes to Shepard and offers her a way out.  He will make sure she survives if she will father his child (DudeShep has to ask Liara to sleep w/ TIM as she has all his experiences). 

"Be enslaved by the Reapers or sleep with the Illusive Man.  How does one make that choice?"

Oh Lord no.  Not Joker.  I have already put my poor Kate through SO MUCH tragedy with the hopes that she can have a happy ending with Joker.  If he dies, Kate is going to have the worst story ever.  Her love life sucks.  Her fiance Danny died on Akuze, which seriously messed her up.  She spent the next 6 years (I think it's 6) having tons of casual sexual relationships and otherwise keeping everyone at arm's length.  Then Kaidan dumped her on Horizon (as she sees it).  She started a friends-with-benefits relationship with one of her best friends on the ship, Jacob, and then got him killed on the Collector Base (again, as she sees it). 

Joker is supposed to be her happy ending.  I know Joker even being romanceable in ME3 is a long shot, but at the very least I want him alive when the game ends.

I absolutely LOVE Dragon Age.  I've always loved video games, but I didn't play that many of them.  Fallout 3 and Oblivion were the only RPGs that I'd played, and I loved them.  When I played DA:O, though, I was blown away.  I had no idea that there were video games with such deep character interactions.  I don't think I'd played any game with a romance subplot before, and I was seriously blown away by it.  I've always loved video games for their stories, plots, and characters so finding out that there were games actually DRIVEN by those?!  I was in heaven.  I think I actually cried when I beat it just because it was over.

Plus I have to credit DA:O with leading me to Mass Effect.  As soon as I beat it, I started researching other Bioware games and jumped all over Mass Effect.  I immediately went out and got ME1, then ME2, and then KOTOR.  My husband probably wants to shatter every copy of DA:O he sees, since it can be credited to magnifying by video game obsession by 300%.  I used to only read about games, occasionally peruse message boards, and maybe fire up the Xbox 360 once every 2 weeks or so.  Now when I'm *not* playing it, I'm over here on the Bioware Social forums obsessively.  :innocent:  And it's all DA:O's fault.

Madeline is well versed in Hand-to-Hand, CQC (Close Quarters Combat), and firearms training. She is an excellent marksman and finds pistols and rifes more tactically efficent because she can strike at multiple targets from a greater distance with less of a risk to herself or soldiers under her command.  "Guns run out of ammo.....knives don't " she has been heard to remark several times in battle, when she allows her brutal side out a little. She sees HTH combat as a constant in that kind of senario: As long as she can kick, punch and has a knife, that is all she really needs. She is extemely skilled and deadly with a combat knife.

And sorry if I end up double-posting, but I want this quick question in a post by itself.

I got a USB specifically made for the 360 for Christmas.  Is that all I need to mod the 360 version of ME, or are there wires and other hardware pieces I need?  I tried to read the thread about modding the 360 on this forum, but my eyes started glazing over immediately.

UJ is Vanguard and loves her shotgun, but in a pinch she can be a hand-to-hand girl.  I actually wouldn't mind seeing some hand-to-hand in ME3.
