Edit - Since this page is missing a top of the page femshep, here's Kate in the Katsumi DLC shot with her AR which being a vanguard she's never used. She prefers her shotgun for most occasions though she does love her Collectors Particle Beam as well.

My first run as Adele, she was an adept in ME1 and then a soldier in ME2 because I thought it would be easiest for a newb. As a soldier I found assault rifles fun for a bit until I ended up using the sniper rifle pretty much exclusively. I don't really care for assault rifles anymore. I ended up playing her again through ME1 as her now 'canon' class, infiltrator and am in the middle of her ME2 infiltrator run.
I love the sniper rifle + SMG combo, the tech, the cloak and the ammo abilities. I wouldn't go back and play a soldier now, only having ammo powers is boring, though adrenaline rush is okay.
I never played the soldier class in ME1 and this is my first time using it in ME2. I find I'm using the assault rifle and the sniper rifle about equally. Adrenaline rush lacks flash, but it's very useful. I took fortification as a bonus since they all seemed about as useless and I won't take biotics on a non-biotic character. It's saved me a couple times actually. Or at least let me keep shooting when I got impatient
Everyone's posting my favorite spots to take screenshots:

And I'm not wondering where the heck the assault rifle came from (soldier Shep does magically produce the SMG, but it's not quite as noticeable as an adept pulling the AR out of thin air.) No doubt it somehow saved them some time making those cutscenes. It's still goofy.

@Sia - lmao after I get the rest of my own ficzilla completed (hopefully by next week) I'd be happy to add it to the projects list. I'd just need ideas from you guys about what you'd like to see and a facecode for Alexis (or high rez pics of her to use).
Hehe, I'm only half serious, Shenzi. But if you want to use us to learn, I'm not stopping you. I'll let Sapphy know you need Lex's code.
I think something with each of our Sheps LIs for later use would be fine. Obviously, only Kaidan is a canon LI now. And the obvious of something with them together. Too bad you can't go back into ME1 for them.

I think I'm gonna write a prequel short story to "A Good night" ,which is the end of a date night between Kallen and Miranda, and write about the first time Kallen used her singing talents to make a date night come full circle on the SR-1.

She can sing? How unexpected. Are we talking showtunes here or what? I is a curious.

Kallen sings alot of stuff actually. her archon visor doubles as an Ipod like music player and she sings pretty well since it worked on Miranda.ELE08 wrote...

@Sia and Sapphy - Wonderful updates, I promise reviews at some point today. I'm just sad that ENF is over and am hoping for a sequel one day.
I did this picture of Alexis the other day from a shot that was in your album while we were doing all the Noir shots on the thread.
Oh, this is so beautiful. Thank you, Shenzi!! <3<3

this is a good part of the reason why i took AR as my bonus weapon - just to have it make sense.

Kasumi: Do you even know how to use that thing, Shep?
Shepard: I do now. (evil grin)
but this is more kyrie's style:

actually, scratch that. THIS is more her style:

only, you know, with biotic barrier on (Sadly it faded while zaeed was shooting at vido.)
anyhow.
LOVE the kaidan/alexis shot. *sniff* do want!
hi-bye!

However, she'd like to settle down somewhere with Liara. Some place that's out of the way, make a speech a couple of times a year, but otherwise not be 'famous.' And she did mean 'Lots of little blue children.'

I generally believe she can't have kids anymore, post-Lazarus, but after being fostered into a Home post-Mindoir, she's always sort-of assumed she'd adopt if she ever settled down, so that didn't disturb her as much as she thought it might. So...
She and Joker will get their own ship and adopt lots of lost colonist children to help them fly it around the galaxy.
Most of my Shepards seem inclined to retire and settle down, assuming they save everyone from Reapers and all. They're all pretty tired of being the last best hope for the entire freakin' galaxy. They need a break. Probably on some quiet colony out in the middle-of-nowhere with LI of choice. Well, Jack and Joker obviously have itchy feet, so on traveling ship of choice in their cases. (I cannot seem to make a single Shepard. Except for Ella, pining after Joker, of course. I am a die-hard fluffy romantic, apparently.)

Poor lonely Ella. Man, Joker's dense sometimes.

All I can do is take screenshots and that's hardly a skill. (Way I do it anyway isn't a skill.) Pressing screenshot button like a crazy person in a hopes to get a good shot isn't a skill.
I do write stuff tho.

Ella can sing much better than I can. Her family was musically inclined. Her father liked collecting old folk songs.(She is vaguely embarrassed whenever she gets caught singing one of them.)

Seriously. Kate's story will be all kinds of ruined in my mind, since I'm not a fic writer and thus would never get around to actually writing their story myself.

(I looooove this FemShep shot!)
Here is what I would write if I could, though: Kate and Joker's first "date". Kate gave the rest of the crew the night off, but of course she and Joker end up staying on the Normandy. Kate decides to raid Dr. Chakwas's private reserves and watch a vid. She bumps into Joker and invites him to join her. He says "no" at first because... well, he's Joker. Then EDI harasses him into going.
It turns out Kate rented Citadel and turns it into a drinking game... every time the movie gets something wrong they have to take a drink. I imagine they're both wasted before the movie leaves Eden Prime.

I tried to bribe Jilly for another chapter of Lost for Words with a picture that's appropriate for her fic

But unfortunately I think she likes the alternate version of the picture better.

Did they actually give a reason to why Shep's wielding an AR or a pistol in every cutscene?
It is likely due to not wishing to animate the other guns consistently. They do exist on the disc though and I managed to deceive the 360 into loading the Widow over the pistol once. I had to hit guide and reload the game during a clip. It was amusing seeing the Widow form out to threaten Harkin.
Also quick question. What part is that scene that is quite popular here? Specifically the one Shenzi and ELE posted first.
