I want Holly to have a heroic, epic ending. I definitely agree that I'd like something far different than "kill the boss". One thing I liked about Overlord, was when Shep got separated from her squad and had to go through David's memories. I'd like to see something more personal and emotional, like that, but on a far grander scale.

Shep standing on her own before the biggest threat in the galaxy... and kicking it's tail.

And then I want my happy ending.

Yeah, it's the last game...something personal and emotional is a plus.



Shepard trudging along through the game killing stuff then killing a thing at the end to stop the Reapers once and for all is a bit boring.



They could do something with the LIs....as described by AwesomeName. If you don't have one then use another character (like, use Anderson, but without the lovey dovey stuff).

I'd love to see Shep's love interest play a bigger role in ME3. It would really bring things together.

Happy ending would be fine. Just not too silly or anything.

Example of silly: Finally finding the Captain's Head after playing for a few weekends now.

Waiting for the elevator during the middle of the night would take too long.  Plus, the whispers she'd have:  "Did you see the Old Lady's pink bunny slippers?":P

How does ME3 end?  Let me think ...

Shepard retreats to the moon where she finds a monolith ... No,no,no.

Shepard finds a scroll that has the answers to final victory.  The scroll begins, "Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates ..." No, not that either. 

Shepard, badly beaten and near death looks on as Harbinger approaches.  Harbinger speaks. "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.  Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion ... Time to die." No, scratch that too. 
 
Harbinger transfers his consciousness into Liara. Shepard fights Liara/Harbinger and finally throws her to the floor, screaming, "Come into me! Take me!"  Harbinger transfers his consciousness into Shepard and she jumps out the airlock.   Mmmmm, no.

Shepard finally meets Harbinger. She asks him one simple question. "How do you know you exist?" Naaaw.

Hm. Perhaps I shouldn't have read through the last paragraph of the last chapter of At All Costs. (One of the Honor Harrington novels.) Suddenly feel melancholy.

Can see FemShep reading a story to her children (blue or otherwise) while remembering a friend who'd died in the midst of ME3, or the final battle.

Fly, Alistair. Wherever you are, wherever God takes you, fly high. I'll guard the Phoenix for you, I promise. Goodbye, I love you.
