Here's a question I'd like to ask the FemShep players who do not romance Kaidan. After your Shepard reunites with either him or Ashley on Horizon, how does she react? Is she upset that the relationship with such a close friend has soured to such an extent? Is she angry or frustrated with them, or herself? Does she understand their reaction? Does she ever briefly consider quitting Cerberus?

My Shepard understands that her death had obviously hit Ashley pretty hard, and that it was both painful and shocking for her to reappear allied with an abhorrent terrorist organisation. She's not angry at Ashley at all, and realises that it's painful and difficult to see her former commander working alongside such a foul group, especially after two years of mourning.

My Shepard hoped that Ashley would realise she wouldn't have anything to do with Cerberus after Akuze. At the same time, she understands her reaction. If anything, the meeting increases her frustration regarding having to work with Cerberus. She realises she has a job to do and that she has to work with this organisation but, after everything that's happened, potentially losing her closest friend and being helpless to do anything to change the situation pisses her off.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...

Yet again, if he'd really want his revenge, he'd know to not ask Shepard for help. If he remembers Marge from ME1, he'd remember I will be the first person to tell him to reconsider. How should I interpret that - that he was subconsciously asking me to stop him?
That's how both Meghan and Avery interpreted it. Avery's a paragon. Her reasoning was easy to figure out. Meghan's was a little more complex given she's sympathetic to his cause and follows his morals (or lack thereof) a bit closer. But she doesn't do revenge. At all. She did it once. Got a lifelong scar for her trouble and learned about obsession the hard way. She didn't like what revenge did to her. It was a long road back.
And Garrus would know this, being one of her closest friends. So, to come to her asking for help with vengeance means it's not just about vengeance for him. He's looking for absolution for his failure as a leader. Meghan took as he wanted justice and vengeance was the only thing he could think of that would bring him that. It wasn't.
I love how you two interpreted it and completely agree. I truly believe he came for Shepard knowing that she'll help him see where the lines are, because everything -to him- was blurred by vengeance, he wanted to take it out on Sidonis as if it would make him feel better, he thinks this is absolution for his failure and Shepard helped him see things more clearly...
