Yes well sadly enough some men can't handle strong women. Especially not strong leader-type women so they need to insult that character as much as possible. <_<

I'm a little confused. You think the usual denizens of YouTube comments sections are men? They always seem like hyperfrenzied junior high school students. Though I guess you could say that's when many of them stopped growing...



Dental appointment coming up (compared to help desk work, it's actually soothing) and afterwards I'm going to start a FemShep through ME1, hoping to get to lvl 60 in two playthroughs. Can't decide if I should use the ME2 redone version of Kyrie (renamed Bruce, er Kylie to avoid confusion) as an infiltrator or Riza, who is based off this character:

I always love this screenie.  And with such a pretty Shepard.

I love femShep/Garrus.  Such a perfect pairing (in my opinion anyway).  They're very similar characters, even if Shepard is pure Paragon, by which I mean life has brought them both to the same place.  And if she's Renegade, they got there by pretty much the same path too.

It's even a better fit if she's an Infiltrator.  It's very hard for Jessica not to go for him... she actually does the whole "sounds like you're carrying some tension, maybe I can help you with that" before she can stop herself, has a silent mental "oh s**t" moment, then has an equally emphatic mental sigh of relief when Garrus gives her a way out with his "didn't think you'd feel like sparring" rejoinder.  They both knew the subtext of that conversation, though, which made things a bit awkward.

Garrus is the only male she's felt that way about in, well, pretty much ever.  It scares her a little.  But ultimately, she cares about both him and Liara too much to risk hurting them with what she knows, despite how much she cares for him, would be a simple fling with Garrus, and which she knows he would be unable to view in that light.  That being said, I still haven't decided if she cheats on Liara with him, canonically.  It's wierd, that is the one single aspect of her personality and story that remains nebulous and unresolved in my head.

Despite how it looks, Anelle and Garrus are just bestest buddies. She depends on him and Tali to watch her back with Cerberus around. I think Anelle still feels too mentor/big sisterish to Garrus to ever romance him, but she's got a bit of a complex about protecting people and looking out for them anyways. It's why Kaidan's romance worked out well for her - he backed her up and supported her and didn't need her to take care of him in any way like a lot of the ME1 crew did.

*gahhhhsssssstthhhh* Sorry that was me drooling all over myself.  I'm still using a Core 2 Duo, but it gets the job done.  For now.  The i series didn't come out until after I built my computer.  To upgrade I'd need to change my entire motherboard.  Techlust aside, I don't think ME3 is going to be that much more hardware intensive so I'm sure I can get away with much less.  Hmmm, time to upgrade soon.

That happened to me too.  Not to mention they stash Shep's nude model in the shower while her regular one is talking to Garrus outside.  You can see her zombie standing in the bathroom if you pan out with freecam. Creeeepy.

I bring some screens today too.


Now that the "super secret Sentinel power" is being known to further parts of community, it is called "boring" and "overpowered" again. I don't know. I don't play lower than Hardcore, and still see about five, six, seven CMF's. I actually enjoy this class a lot, followed by Engineer. And it's perfect for Marge story-wise, but I don't want to dwell on that now.


A little different perspective?


I wanted to see her expressions under the helmet, so I have been loading full body armors without headgear on few missions. Not much on Aite...


... but there were some nice shots on Collectors Ship. If you wonder why I bring those two on missions where biotics are more suitable, two words: weapons disabling. Overload saves my butt more than anything.

Yeah, with Holly it was a difficult choice. She cares a lot about Garrus, but he's her best friend. He doesn't seem to be the type who would put his feelings out there, especially for a woman like Shepard. Thane is a better fit for her, though I think no matter what happens she'll always have a place in her heart for a certain turian.

Moira and Aislinn adore him, so he's got plenty of my FemSheps' love.

And Moira didn't cheat on Kaidan, so much as she thinks the relationship is over.  She realized what she truly wants. It's going to be interesting to see what happens later on.

Hehe i've always loved that. Talking with Garrus is great (that can't be said about other males on Normandy. except Joker.  He is a fun guy.)

Well... my current Shep romanced both. Second playthrough Shep will be only with Liara, though.

That's because there is a group of people who just play Sheploo Soldiers over and over again, they want everyone to have as little fun as them so they bash everything. They bash FemShep and they bash every class that isn't Soldier, Vanguards both suck and are overpowered, Sentinel is boring and Adept is useless, etc. Their problem is that everyone is having so much fun playing the game the way they want to but they just want everyone to be unhappy and play the game their way so they can tell them how much they suck at it and how good they are.

Basically they want to turn Mass Effect into Halo and have an e-peen measuring contest.

If it helps you decide I have an Adept (Olivia) that I used exclusively for my Insanity runs through both games. Granted, I haven't completed either Insanity run out of general apathy, but that's not the point. What is the point is that I have an absolute blast playing with her and the class feels like it has real power behind it, even in a scenario where every enemy you come across has some kind of barrier that has to be whittled down before she can toss them about like a rag doll.

Keep in mind this is coming from a guy who's "main" Shepard is an infiltrator, so that should say something.

Oh, and as an Adept this is a situation that never gets old:

Harbinger: "I will show you true power."
Shepard: "Not if I do first!" *cue fully-ranked Singularity/Shockwave/etc.*
