and @LeggyWillow: I really dislike the idea that women have to have long hair to be considered feminine, let alone a woman. I don't get very many comments on my videos but on a couple of occasions I've had people tell me that my Shepard is ugly. I'm not sure what the purpose was behind leaving those types of comments as it's obvious that I disagree, given the amount of videos I've uploaded, and there's nothing really constructive about them. So what do I do?  **deletes comments**:P They're my video pages afterall and I don't care for that kind of negativity.

More then two years ago they could repair THIS even after my Shep's expert driving.
But now: Sorry. This is old model. Parts are not manufactured anymore. And our Varren ate the last repair manual.

A bit OT, but femShep's cousin, Lady Hawke, got some nice screens in a IGN article on DA2.  Here's the discussion thread about it, in case you want to discuss it.

LOL.  I can't get enough of your captions.  I have to ask though, do you make these captions just for the lolz or does UJ actually have that sense of humor in your head canon?

I just finished my first ever photoshop!!  Yay.   :happy:  So dont be mean because I have 8 tabs current open on the basics and I only installed it this afternoon :P


To be honest I didnt start with the easiest of pictures but I was just experimenting like crazy.  Its still very basic but for a first effort I feel its come out far far better then I expected.   Goodbye drab video screenshot!  Hello something a little more pleasing!  :)

The captions are mostly for the funny, but in my head canon, UJ does have a snarky sense of humor.  Example, her new pet name for Liara would be, "Evil Overlord."

You could always have Nyxeris do it for you...wait she's dead. Nevermind. I'm going to go finish chapter 1 of my Lia/Garrus fic. Maybe figure out how to use photoshop, and try to draw. As for the s/s thing-meh is pretty much my opinion. Yeah, I'd like to have the option, but not having it is the same for me.



In my head-canon, Renee is a little surprised she fell for Liara, but some of it also was that she and Liara were kind of socially equal, and thus, she felt OK about getting close to her. The physical part was just kind of by accident.

I spent a long time getting her right and I still wanted to tweak a couple of things which are so petty in detail they wont have made any difference.  Perfectionism on your femsheps is a straining ordeal as many can tell you! :happy:


Anyway since Amelia is on the XBox I thought it appropriate I learn photoshop to make sure she appears awesome!  Plus people like Ele and Kasouka have inspired me no end! :D


Oh and my new lappy has too crappy a graphics card to play ME2.  I didnt want to end my life by getting it on PC too!! :whistle:

That's impressive for a first attempt. Well done. I certainly never tried anything that complicated the firt time I installed photoshop. Infact I still remember the first time I used the program. I tried to make a square and fill it red. After 5 minutes I gave up and closed the program, having failed miserably. :P

Thanks as well Akari,  as my first post said I installed this afternoon and it now almost 1am :P  

I spent a lot of time trying things out and probably have about 15 drafts in the recycle bin!   Having read this thread I know that virtually all of it is done through layers so stuck with that.   I cut Amelia out, which was complicated enough!  Deleted the background and layered several duplicates over her and tuned each layers opaque setting. Each image I editted details in a certain way to try and make her less grainy and smoother.   

Im sure there are simpler ways to do it, but I will learn them with time.   I think I need to hunt for some plug-ins.  So thanks again for the kind words everyone :happy:

I think I'm finally going to sit down tonight and get some writing done concerning my FemSheps. I've pretty much got all of their backgrounds fleshed out in my head. Or, I could finish my fanfic...or work on my next video. Agh! Choices.

Yeah, I agree. I like Holly, though.

Speaking of fanfiction, my newest one has chapter one complete! Ceremony is just my idea of Lia after ME2, after all the DLCs yet before ME3. Since, you know nobody has an idea what happens in ME3, yet.

@Captain - Great first effort, I've found Photoshop to be positively addicting.  I can spend hours and hours fiddling around with screen shots as I experiment with it in my attempts to figure everything out. Image IPB
