But her head is smaller than her boobs!  Lol, chalk it up to a design decision.  No one ever complains about Marcus Fenix having a tree trunk for a neck.

Lies, I have complained plenty about that. They are less human than Krogans! I have always loathed that "Lets make them super muscular!!!!!!" mentality.

If anything, it is nice neither Shepard fell into the horrid stereotypes and actually look human. Well... aside from Ugly Shepard.

How to mod with 360

To be honest if you finish reading that you deserve a pat on the back!

Read it through multiple times actually and done almost everything on there, xD. I rewrote a step by step because admittedly that opener has become somewhat convoluted. At least in my opinion. I even found a handy trick to finishing the game in less than a hour so you can import ME choices.

Oh and now you have forced me to attempt that demo. My poor computer trembles in fear.

Edit: I do not have any new piccies but top of the thread means Femshep! So...

I'm loving all of the artwork popping up on this thread. Chig and ELE of course are turning out their usual amazing stuff, and out of nowhere comes dark horse Mr. Vakarian with some stunning photomanipulations. Obviously I've been a bit scarce lately (though not quite as scarce as sagequeen) and unable to keep up with comments on every new feast for the eyes, much as they all deserve them. Just have to say, keep it up everyone.  Even if I don't comment, I see and appreciate all the offerings on this thread.

Right! That's it! I'm going to give you a damn good thrashing!

How did you get the sniper rifle to not zoom in when you use a skill?

Huh, even with the flycam it's stayed stuck on the crosshairs for me :(

I always have to switch to the SMG
Image IPB

I think it may be because she's not in cover in that pic, the zooming always happens when you're in cover.

I feel ashamed as an Infiltrator... It took me WAY too long to realize that wasn't a gun that was doing that...

Just loaded up the game to find out the answer for you. If you're in cover when you use a skill you get the zoom from the sniper rifle. Out of cover the skill just fires off as normal, no zoom.

Things like the blood dragon armour, collector weapon & armour, etc carry over across all platforms, but the paid for DLC doesn't. Though I have read posts on these forums about people ringing up EA support, harassing them and getting their paid for DLC added to another platform without having to buy it again.

Really, now? I might try to persuade EA Support to do the same...

I've just stumbled upon this piece of artwork, and I really like it. Shepard's armour is very striking, and distinctive.

I promised Sia to review her wonderful story "A Paragon Of Virtue" but I'm not very good with words and decided to do this instead:

It also serves as a "companion piece" to the picture of Noah on Omega I posted earlier. Image IPB

I'd hardly call it a "tough decision", but for now I'm holding off on picking up ME2 for the PC. I'm trying to get some writing done as it is (and real-world concerns besides) so I don't really have the time to port over Morgan and others from my 360 to play through their careers again, especially because I just got done with another playthrough for Morgan as a "refresher" as I bunker down and get to writing.

However, I did re-download the demo and grabbed a trial of Fraps, mainly to show off a new Shepard I've been tweaking for a bit. So, in a post that's both part fishing for opinions, part show-and-tell, I present you with thus:

Image IPB

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Deandra  Shepard. After I finalize her design she'll be plaguing gracing my console for a new playthrough.

Now, if anyone actually remembers me talking about this months ago (which I doubt) Morgan is my "canon" Shepard because she's the only one I've ever taken the time to think about in terms of personality and background. Deandra here is an exception. I've thought about her past and what she's like as well, mainly in relation to Morgan.

I'm going to try not to ramble too much here, but I see a lot of the "for want of a nail" principle in action with ME's backgrounds. In theory different Shepards can exist within the same universe based off of their different backgrounds (Spacer/Colonist/Earthborn) with only one being the Shepard (if that makes sense). That's where Deandra came from. As I write fic based around Morgan's stories within the ME universe I see Deandra as a sort of "Dark" Shepard, and evil counterpart if you will. At their very core both women are essentially the same in regards to drive, ability and their capacity to gather others, but in terms of moral compass and their way of doing things they're complete polar opposites. Using that concept as a base I plan on using Deandra (her full name Deandra Byrne in-story) as an original character in some stories taking place between ME2 and ME3.

In game terms Deandra is a Colonist/Ruthless/Pure Renegade. As of this screenshot she's an Adept, but I'm still deciding on her class, mainly using how I'm envisioning her within the "Chronicles" storyline (she's definitely going to be a biotic of some kind). I'm happy with how her face has turned out, but I might still do some tweaking with her hair, her eye color and her makeup until I'm happy. I'm trying to shoot for a "cold seductress" type of feel to contrast Morgan's more tomboyish appearance.

Opinions? Thoughts? Non-Sequiters?

Making more progress in my Riza Shepard playthrough. Have tons of Geth to fight through back to Zhu's Hope. Getting a bit better at killing the heavier ones outside the Mako. All I have to do is find some indestructible cover to hide behind and keep potshotting with the sniper rifle. Easy, eh?

Image IPB

Since I'm going to try for lvl 60 on a second playthrough I'm currently trying to get as much XP as possible. Which means she's not taking some peaceful alternatives she might have on a single playthrough.

Image IPB

"Don't worry, Helena. This is going to be an alternate timeline so I'll spare you next time."
"...."
"Besides, you look silly fighting in that long-skirted dress. Did you have to keep running at the front door?!"

Just finished my FemShep soldier playthrough on ME2 and loved it. Every time I go back and play as FemShep it always surprises me how much I am drawn in by her presence. Can't wait for ME3.
