Actually my primary reason for not having long hair wasn't because of regulation. But because of a possible tactical hazard. Say someone yank your hair back and slit your throat. And it tends to get loose in prolonged periods of certain physical activities and may get tangled up with things or cover your eye sight atthe worst of times. So the sole reason for keeping long hair would be for the sake of looking attractive in a combat environment. Thus only a vain FemShep would have long hair.

I think FemShep should have hair within regulations in ME3. Not saying bald, just at least not longer than the male Sheps. Would be more fitting since hair will only get in the way of combat. And not over-sexualized like now for the purpose of being attractive to males. Just a thought, since it's hard to picture a current female soldier (or any front-line soldier) with long hair. Just 2 cents only for realism and not like sexualized female soldiers in other media.

Having been in army I can say that they all are just fine. I'm talking about those hair styles you can actually pick from the character editor.Eddo36 wrote...
Wearing a helmet while having long hair is even worse... If you hair loosens up and cover your eyes, you have to take the helmet off just to brush your hair to the side. Among getting tangled, etc.PseudoEthnic wrote...

It's merely called having a different opinion.

^ But the ears are the only thing keeping the hair from completely covering her eyes like Samara from The Ring. If she was wearing a helmet in a vacuum, there's no way to sweep it to the side. I actually grimmaced at going into combat with that.

In the future, hair is held in place with omni-gel. It won't move until it's melted down, and functions as well as any other armor, only more stylish.

I'd advise my fellow FemShep fans to ignore this individual. He's a renowned troll, homophobe and misogynist.
Pay no attention to him, and he will eventually leave.
