I have quite a few "FemShep Noir" requests on the docket now and am diligently working away on several of them as we speak...well "post" I should say, but I thought I would at least post one more that I had been working on before getting side tracked on two other manips :)

Anyway, here is the 8th Installment......In AMAZING TECHNICOLOR!

I'm sorry - I'm sure you all have plausible reasons for believing there will be a Ash and Kaidan DLC, but I simply don't. I don't believe it. I'll gladly eat my post if I'm wrong but I have absolutely no faith whatsoever in BioWare to make a DLC or to handle both characters in a decent way in ME3. There, I said it.

Bourne Endeavor wrote...

It is entirely plausible BioWare had virtually nothing to do with the comic beyond providing Dark Horse a brief summary of what transpired.

Jesse Houston wrote...

Yes, Dark Horse is working with us to make the Interactive Comic :) Mac also wrote the comic (he wrote the other ones as well).

Joking aside, Chignon is totally right.  The animators only draw what they were told and ultimately someone said  "yeah that captures the essence of Mass Effect One".

In the end it's still a comic and i expect comics to be a bit over the top, exactly like that.

That is actually a very valid point.

I happen to love the flying Garrus for it's ridiculousness.  I imagine Shepard seeing footage of that somehow and then teasing Garrus about it until the end of time.

That is amazing!!!

Oh, and so it's confirmed that Walters wrote the ME1 comic? Damn...well there goes more of my hope of ME3 being epic, captivating, and making sense. :-/

So, I started another playthrough of ME1 with Trista. I feel like I've neglected her and she deserves some attention and screenshot goodness. I also made a few adjustments to her and changed her origin/psych profile to match the write-up I did.

EDIT:
Is it just me, or does anyone else enjoy playing dress-up with armor?  And I found yet another armor set Kaidan looks sexy in...Duelist.

And I've inadvertently discovered the Trista death stare:

Good to see her again Aislinn.  Doing a NG+ (+) with your cannon femshep feels weird I find, especially with ME3 laying in wait.  Mind you its still a long wait away!  Really looking forward to seeing Trista save the Galaxy again!

This is amazing Vakarian, proper Art Deco style! I love it

And his Garrus would counter with "Hey, you called Kaidan a "good kid."" Femshep cannot tease for a while.

Cheers Mr. V. That is looks awesome. ^_^

Well I've seen that comic thing twice in two days now and I never want to watch it again. My god it's ****ing awful! Even femshep can't save it from the abomination that it is.

It does make me wonder what the story for ME3 will be like, if this is what Walters produces on his own?

Anyway, enough of this interactive comic rubbish, I'll just blank it from memory I think. :wizard:

@ Mr.V

Another good job. Nice work.

@Aislinn

Trista looks awesome! I do like that armour as well. I used the same type with Silmeria when I went through ME1 with her. :)

It's a scene from The Citadel.  (It's a movie advertised on Zakera Ward about the Battle of the Citadel.)

And Mr. V, that pic is gorgeous.

Well, he also produced ME1 Wrex and Garrus on his own (barring some plot world dialogue), shared in writing Kirrahe (not the big speech though), and did most of Virmire with Drew (see here), so it's not like he's just flat-out incapable of good writing.  And it's still not clear if he scripted this comic....thing.  As has been the case with other comics, he may have handed Dark Horse what essentially amounted  to a story outline and a few character notes.

And now for something completely different:

Morgan: It's okay, I have a dose of Medi-Gel right here. You'll be alright-
Batarian: No! What I've seen can't be unseen! *cough* It will haunt my nightmares for the rest of my days! Just *cough* let me die!
Morgan: Oh come on, pull yourself together. Whatever it was couldn't have been that bad.
Batarian: *cough* You called him *cough* "a good kid"...
Morgan: My God...
Batarian: Good *cough* kid... (dies)

Thing is, Walters reminds me of those authors who can write really interesting stuff so long as they have a dedicated editor behind them all the way, but once given full creative control fall flat on their ass.  And yet keep going, because they have a reputation for being good, and at the end of it all blame the audience for not understanding their creative vision.

...but then, Walters is not FemShep.

A bit OT, but that's why I HATE the ME comics.  The Buffy Comics got people who would never pick up one into the medium, while the ME comics have driven home the stereotype.  Comics don't HAVE to
be over the top.  A lot of comics, especially indie and European are quite
understated.  Apologies, as this is not directed at you personally f1r3storm, as I've seen the same sentiments all over the internets.

mini rant over.  Have a femShep

I may be an entirely ridiculous Liara FanGirl, but ... OMG.  I can't talk about that comic except to say the entirely biased characterization leading up to the romance option "choice" was ... so, so wrong.  So wrong.  I miss the VS.  I'm still hoping for VS dlc - I know lots of people have given up on that after this ... travesty ... but I'm still hoping.

Comic? What comic? I refuse to acknowledge the existence of any comic.
