If they were to make a 'Sheploo' for femShep, who would you want as a face model?
Katee Sackhoff.

Yes, please. I'd turn lesbian for her.

Had the chance to play 3 1/2 hours with Lady Hawke today.
Also spoke with BioWare about it's female characters (among other things). Still under NDA till Early February, though, so can't say anything yet.
Good news!! FemSheperds claims are spread !!! Well done!!!
Will the interview appear in the Eurogamer web??

She fits her role in BSG well but as Femshep.. I'm not entirely so sure.

Am I missing something here? I don't quite understand what is so fantastic about Katee Sackhoff (Kara Starbuck).

I'm going to have to agree. Maybe I'm missing something since I've only seen her in BSG. I loved her as Starbuck, but I'm not sure if she has the gravitas to pull off Shepard. Games are one thing you can make your character with the looks and personality of anything you want--and that's great. But in real life she's pushing my limits of believability.
Where would she fit in to the ME Universe IMO? She's an "Ashley" not a "Shepard". A good supporting character.
Of course this is my personal opinion, colored by my own real life biases, and also by my interpretation of Commander Shepard (whose live action version differs a little from my game version BTW.)
Who do I think is ideal for the role? Actually another character from the same show, if we could get in a time machine: I think a young ensign Ro-era Michelle Forbes would be perfect. If we're going pure Hollywood interpretation I think Rhona Mitra has the charisma and toughness to pull it off. And I'd tell her to keep the accent.
*equips flame suit* [muffled] I'm still a fan of Katee Sackhoff as an actress though.

Now, if you're talking about a Shep that I'd use instead of bothering with the character creator... I'm afraid no such woman exists.

Actually I remember someone found a redundant graphic file in ME2 somewhere which looked like Bioware was working on a new default appearance for femshep. There was a flat texture image and a basic mold for her. The file names were titled as similar too. Unfortunately its one of the few images I never managed to save in time. User Deleted after a couple of days.
She did look very similar I thought to Yana Motana's femshep. The hairstyle and colour were the same. It was probably given up on though as it was just a CC creation and nothing more added.

I will have a look for the post. I have a good idea its around page 150-200. Sometimes my knowledge of this thread scares me!

If there was a Sheploo-style FemShep, I think Lena Headey would be a good face model. She's played a lot of roles where she's tough and capable of kicking your ass but still attractive. Plus she looks like she fits Shep's age a bit better than many actresses. More "early thirties" than "barely eighteen", y'know?
I totally agree

I think people have slightly misunderstood the premise, it was someone to be a theoretical Sheploo for FemShep. A face model not necessarily to assume the character in the movie, we already did that question quite some time ago.
My bad. Well in that case I think she's perfect. I'd use it.

That was me actually. And it was an actual head model and face texture a la Sheploo or any of the unique squadmates. I imagine either it was never intended for the game or it was scrapped early because it looks pretty terrible. Definitely nothing special compared to what's possible in the CC.

Thanks Ele, that saved me a search because I was getting curious over that one!
But your right, the quality was very simplistic. Bit strange how it still found its way into the game disc though for something that was clearly an experiment or a test bed for something else.

I never minded not having a distinctive facemodel for the default femshep, I enjoy seeing the wide variety of femsheps that people come up with on this thread.
I just don't like that it's not nearly as detailed as a default. It's the textures more than the face that make the difference. We'd still have our custom femsheps just as there are still custom malesheps. Ah well, I'm okay with what we have too. I still love my femsheps.

Wow. I've only missed a few pages in this thread and I thought I would remember something like this. I wonder if any of our modding experts can find this file?
Edit: Nvm...I am slow this morning and not completely sobered up from last nights antics.
