Actually my Laura Shepard got a bit cross with Liara pre LotSB and got with Garrus.  I havent had the guts to do that DLC with her playthrough yet because im having an emotional crisis with it and I am putting off!   


Who said Mass Effect doesn't have drama! :happy:

A couple, here and there. There were usual dumb teenage relationships back when she was in high school (on the occasions where she was in a school). That said Morgan's first "serious" relationship was with a man named Eric Flynn, a marine from the unit she was placed in after she completed basic training. Their on again, off again relationship came to an end after three-or-so years when their unit was caught in the middle of the Blitz while they were on leave. She was drafted into the N7 Program soon after while what remained of their unit was split up and folded into different companies. Like most of the people from her old unit Morgan wasn't able to stay in touch.

As of Mass Effect she slowly got into a relationship with Kaiden, building up a mutual trust and respect as more intimate feelings started up bubble to the surface. Sadly Kaiden didn't survive the events on Virmire.

On the subject of family Morgan use to think about it now and again, but starting with Saren and Soverign those thoughts were pushed far into the back of her mind. The galaxy needs to be in a state where she knows it'll survive before she dares bring new life into it.

On the other hand Deandra, to quote Ramona Flowers, "has dabled in being a ****". She uses people and throws them away when they've stopped being useful, as if they were tools. For the most part this philosophy extends to her "love life" as well. There are, of course, exceptions and she maintains an inner circle of people she trusts, but she's never had a serious relationship since Mindoir.

My head canon for Holly:

She may have had a boyfriend before the attack on Mindoir, but nothing serious (puppy love). I don't believe Holly would have done much dating after that. She joined the Alliance as soon as she was old enough, and is a very by-the-book kind of person.

Aside from her feelings towards Kaidan never going beyond friendship, she had to let him down gently and made it clear that she didn't think a relationship between officers on the same ship was appropriate (not to mention it violated regulations). She still considers him one of her closest friends.

She had feelings for Garrus, but never acted on them. He was on her team, but not a part of the Alliance. He didn't show any signs of being interested in her (during the course of ME1), so she never said anything. To this day, he's her best friend. In my head canon, he's always been in love with her but believed she was out of his league... so there's this unspoken closeness between them that never turned into anything more.

Falling in love with Thane was something that took Holly by surprise. She was attracted to him from the beginning, but never thought they'd actually end up together.

As for family, I don't believe Holly ever had plans to start one. Her training and life as a soldier was the main focus for a long time. She was driven to help other people, never really thinking of herself. She's content with having her friends at her side. The Normandy crew is the only family she needs.

If she manages to survive this whole Reaper debacle, and Thane is somehow saved, I could see her settling down with him (in a way).

Yes. Lili had Devu, of course. They had been really good friends, same with Lili and Mahi. Her and Devu cared deeply for each other, Lili was heart broken when he died. Thought she'd never have anybody again because she thought if she got close to somebody, they'd end up dead as well. But when she did meet Garrus, well she couldn't help how she felt...as for family, yeah maybe. But her being with Garrus doesn't go anything good, plus she rather likes having alone time with him.

Lia had some boyfriends from Earth but they betrayed her or just did it to get her in bed. They didn't really ever care about her, just wanted something. Her being a biotic scared others off, and most people were older then her in the Reds. So, who she did have, broke her heart multiple times. She knows she can be a b!tch around even the people she loves, you could say she is a bit paranoid about being with somebody again after years of not. She never had a family so she doesn't want one, not ever, even if she was with a human or asari.

Titra had somebody, but he was killed, then she had another but she died too. (btw I'm working on Titra's backstory) She's not wanting anybody else, but she has a soft spot for a couple people and is conflicted on who to go for. Nope, she doesn't want a family.

Athena doesn't want a family, never had one for her, so she doesn't want one. Plus the fact that she doesn't really have anybody except Ares, who might just die.

On another note, I have some pics of Lia that I will upload and post soon. And have some fanfics that should be done soon as well. Round 3, yeah...it's coming along nicely, should be done in a while. Sorry for the wait!

She fell in love with one of her childhood friends, a boy named James, and they joined the Alliance together.  They were essentially just at the point where they would have actually told other people about their relationship when they were sent groundside on a planet called Akuze.  
Needless to say, she applied for N7 training after about a year of therapy and never looked back, though internally she still hasn't gotten over it.  Kaidan helped her through the worst of it, especially after the Prothean visions and Virmire caused her to re-live those events, and that was the major thing that brought them together.

Teagan, earthborn, sole survivor.  Her alignment is probably 30% paragon 60% renegade.

She puts on a tough front and can be rather abrasive (frosty is a good descriptor) but inside she's just a big old softie.  I liken her a bit to Mal Reynolds and maybe a little to Casey from Chuck.  She cares, just don't try and get her to admit it.  You'll know she cares for you through her actions.  Couple that with a little ice-queen, and she's a hard person to get to know.  Her looks can be intimidating and she knows it, and doesn't usually go out of her way to make people feel comfortable.

Growing up on earth, she dated a few guys but nothing ever serious, and they were all pretty short lived.  Average adolescent experimentation.  When she was sixteen she was pretty deep in with the Reds and her best friend was a guy named Micah who looked out for her like a big brother.  He was rather older (20ish) which was why they were just friends.  A genuinely nice guy amidst a group of...not so nice folks with something of a white knight complex.  Teagan of course had a huge crush on him but never had the nerve to say anything.

A week before her 18th birthday he was shot and killed.  Kind of the last straw and turning point for Teagan and her decision to enlist.

Her first several years in the Alliance she threw herself into her work and didn't see anyone romantically.  Akuze happened, which reinforced her previous tendency to close herself off to others. 
Sometime in there between that and ME1 she had a few not so memorable dates, and never with anyone she worked with and none of them really went anywhere because she has a problem opening up to people and showing them anything not on the surface.  She's lost a lot of people in her life and rarely talks about it with anyone.

She's never really had any thinking on family.  She didn't really have one growing up.  She doesn't have any one place she calls home.  Not that I think she's unhappy.  She has friends and her work (saving the universe ) so she goes where life takes her.  No attachments.  Of course I'd like that to change for her story at some point.  Liara fans already have the option to express a desire to settle down and "have little blue children" eventually.  But who knows where they're going to take the Kaidan story arc, so I'm not sure where Teagan's story is going.
I believe there's a line somewhere: This has to end eventually.  And then what?  I'm not sure yet.  If they really butcher his character horribly...well we'll see what they do.

Hm. For any of my FemSheps, I guess family plans would depend on how medical technology in this universe is re: fertility. Humans can live to 150 or so in this era. If it's possible to extend a woman's fertility so she can have a child at 60 or 70 without complications, then a FemShep could easily wait and start a family later.

These are generally career women, so that has a higher priority, though none are hostile to the idea of having kids.

(...or we could also see another character marry young, raise a family and then start a career, with either support or consternation of her now adult children. "Um... Alliance Navy, Mom?" "Sure, someone's got to be the oldest Ensign!" "...." (Okay, that was stolen from an 80s-era Star Trek novel.))

I haven't really worked on the past history too much on any of them so far. Tempted to have had Riza dated some guy named Roy, but it never worked out. 

(He was useless in the rain... oops, wrong universe.)

Almost all of them have.  The usual high school boyfriends, a casual fling here and there, maybe a semi-serious boyfriend.  Kate is the one I've fleshed out with the most detail, and also the only one I feel like typing right now:

Kate dated a good bit in high school, as pretty girls tend to do.  Nothing ever stuck, since as a spacer she switched schools a lot.  She met and fell in love with a man in her unit, Daniel McCray.  They kept it as secret as possible, since they didn't want to be separated, even after she got promoted a couple of times and got engaged.  Then Akuze happened.  Daniel was one of the first to die, when a maw erupted underneath a Mako he'd been tinkering with and crushed him. 

Kate completely changed after that, and even years later is still fairly withdrawn.  She's had a lot of casual sexual relationships since then but nothing serious until Kaidan... who broke her heart.  Yes, Kate hasn't been thinking too clearly about Horizon but she's never handled personal conflict well and views that as a definite break-up.  She got in bed with Jacob after that but then he died... yeah, poor Kate's love life is not going well.  Joker is meant to be her "second great love", hopefully in ME3... otherwise just in my head. 

Kate wanted kids with Danny, but I think she's changed and been through too much to ever be attracted to motherhood now.

As a child Roxanna became very fimilliar with her quarters, what with being confind there frenquently. At a young age, she developed a tendency to ask far too many questions, even for a child.This habit, coupled with the unnatural ability to steal things from the armory (mostly for the sake of taking them apart to see how they worked), earned quite alot of attention from the ships CO. 

She never dated, being a "by the book" Marine, but had many friends. Her first love was Kaiden, and his words on Horizon hit her hard. She still has a picture of him in her quarters abord the Normandy SR2.

I just wanted to post my support. I have long been hoping FemShep wouldl get more attention, as she is a far superior character, which is agreed upon by anyone I've spoken to who has played both genders. Jennifer Hale is simply amazing and brings Shep alive in a way that Mark Meer does not. He is a very talented man and he does a great job, but Jennifer voices the character in a way that makes you look up to her. Fem Shep is an empowered woman without being a **** and still with a soft feminine side, when necessary. It's a hard line to straddle and she does so beautifully.
