I'm actually contemplating making a 7th FemShep...maybe. She'll be pro-cerberus and a xenophobe. And even more renegade than Moira. Still contemplating her appearance. I don't know if I'd enjoy playing that sort of character, though. We shall see.

Amusingly enough in both my files where my Shepard is loyal to Cerberus, neither are xenophobic. Keira was indifferent and frustrated with what she perceived ineptitude by the Alliance. Her loyalty shifted upon meeting the Council where she told them to shove their Spectre status. The prospect of going rouge heavily enticed her and would certainly be considered later on.

Dawson on the other hand viewed TIM as efficient, albeit extreme to degree. He respected his willingness to do what is necessary, yet unlike Keira, is meticulous in how much trust he will allot TIM.

Thus far only Selene was outright defiant and vocally hostile about working with Cerberus. She is also my only Shepard to canonally destroy the Collector Base in spite of my hatred of that decision.

I'm always a fan of metallic red armour! c: She's sleek and attractive, to boot. The face is awfully well put-together. Thumbs up, sis. (or bro, can never be too sure on the internet)

Bourne Endeavor wrote...
Question of my own. Have any of you created a Shepard who ultimately agrees with Cerberus in some capacity or perhaps even likes TIM? The inevitable follow up being would they stick with Cerberus and renounce ties to the Alliance and Council?

Sure have. My current (as I rambled on about for far too long a little further up the page) was made with perhaps being a Cerberus recruit from the get-go. She's not particularly racist, just a bit of a pragmatist and sociopath. Ends always justify the means for her. Likely won't renounce her Spectre status willingly (it's still useful) and would prefer to perform a hostile takeover of Cerberus a la Shadow broker, funnel more money into defense projects and okay less of their whole herp derp let's make a human AI hybrid/throw some people at Thresher Maw nests and see what happens/torture some biotic kids just in case it makes them powerful/experiment willy-nilly with indoctrination what could possibly go wrong? kinda projects.

@Suspire
Yes, AUs are so much fun! Especially in a universe like ME's. :3 Alas, poor Kaidan.  I too feel kinda bad about turning Garrus into renegade Shep 2.0, I usually try encourage him to be better. He doesn't listen a lot of the time, though. His loyalty mission is usually quite hard for me, though-- i'm never sure whether undermining his revenge is good for him or not.
I also love that facet of ME! The different paragon/renegade approaches of resolving things are pretty great, too. It's a nice change from
>Hey you, heavily armed stranger, help me!
>1. Right away!
>2. Yeah okay-- for a price.
>3. Whoops. Looks like I slipped and accidentally stabbed you in the throat.
>4. I should go.
I know exactly how personal love for LIs make me change my decisions, even when i'm roleplaying. In DA:O, I have to restrain myself from playing a female because i'll just go straight for Alistair. It's getting there with Garrus. Don't know how i'll resist him and his delicious flanging voice and awkwardness when I get to ME2. )':
Joker being an LI would make me terribly happy-- my canon mshep has a bit of a crush on him, too. I'm trying not to have high expectations for it happening, though.

@Sentox6
[Entry 81] Have I mentioned just how evil Chambers is? I check in with
her, and as usual, there are new messages. This time, I didn't take the
bait. I just stared her down for a good five minutes. Then I took one
step away. "Commander, you have unread messages at your private
terminal". Damn her.

Oh man, you have no idea how I chuckled. At all of it. Comedy gold!

Hah, glad I am not the only one with devious ambitions. While Keira would certainly have no vested interest is TIM's position due to a disdain of all the business affairs. Dawson would readily assume control with nary a moment's hesitation.

Oh and Cheez. I have to ask, from a roleplay perspective. Just how frequently is Hotwings subjected to mockery for the epic name? Sure, it may be signing your death warrant but I have to imagine at least someone would. Perhaps a Krogan has the balls. Least he could spare a few, xD.

From a non-roleplay perspective, it's just what I named the save file because I was buzzed up on caffeine and sugar.

BUT, from a roleplay perspective, her name is actually Gretchen ("Gretch" to the kids she ran with back on Earth).  "Hot Wings" was a nickname given to her by some crazy-ass corporal back when she first started serving.  God knows what he was thinking when he called her that (might have something to do with the skinny little arms that don't belong on a soldier, but growing up without a steady meal plan can do that to you).  It stuck with her as she rose through the ranks.  Eventually, her unit found out about it.  That was fun.

But people don't call her that much now these days.  Not after Torfan.  Too many bad memories, too many mistakes.  Those that knew her as Hot Wings are either dead or reassigned.  She's got a new nickname now: the Butcher.

You call her Hot Wings, you lose a nut.  Call her the Butcher of Torfan, and you get to see just what happens on the other side of an even horizon.  She doesn't take too kindly to being blamed for the death of her unit--she did everything right, she put it all on the line for the mission like she was supposed to.  If her crew couldn't keep up with her, then they shouldn't have joined the Alliance.

She was ready.  They weren't.

It wasn't her fault.

(Lulz, I just went all dramatic backstory AND COMPLETELY IMPROVISED.)

@Sentox6: That was hilarious.  I want to have your babies.

[Entry 6] My cabin seems decent. Although there's a display area for
ship models. Really? A ship captain who collects ship models? If I ever
settle down, maybe I can marry a nice accountant who collects abacuses.

As for LI loyalty. My FemSheps are all loyal. Heck, I even made sure one of them didn't have a ME1 LI, just so I could see what the ME2 LI's are like...

I had 6 pages to read through so appologies for answering old questions from a few pages ago.

I lost Thane on the suicide mission, the first time I played ME2. I picked him to lead the second fire team for some stupid reason. I also lost all the crew except Dr Chakwas as I messed about mopping up side quests before going through the Omega 4 relay, but that femshep is now gone.

It's so easy to keep everyone alive through the suicide mission and the game sign posts who you need to pick so clearly that if you want deaths it feels like you have to engineer them on purpose. Of my three Shepards only Lenneth had some squad members die. Those being Jacob and Jack. Jacob volunteered to go through the vents, so she let him and Jack got carried away by the seeker swarms because Miranda failed with the biotic barrier. Zaeed also bought it, but he was left to die in a fire after the mission was complete.

I do have a save with only Tali, Garrus and Miranda alive, just to see how things play out in ME3. On the same save, Grunt's still in his pod, Legion was given to Cerberus. and half the crew is dead.

AdmiralCheez wrote...

*Speaking of Sha'ira, did anyone else unintentionally wind up smexing the Consort?

Yes, during my first ever femshep playthrough on the 360. She was full on renegade so the bottom right answer was picked for pretty much everything. Bit of a surprise to say the least. :o

No. All my Shepard's have disliked TIM and/or Cerberus, and all of them have blown up the collector base, but for different reasons.

Hrist as a sole survivor despises TIM and Cerberus. Firstly for what happened on Akuze and then finding all those Cerberus bases and the experiments they were conducting in ME1 sealed the deal. She put up with him because she had to during ME2, but she was never going to give him something as potentially dangerous as the collector base to misuse.

Lenneth doesn't necessarily hate TIM, though she does think he's an idiot who's every scheme seems to back fire spectacularly. She also get fed up with him constantly lying to her about pretty much everything. The fact he really wanted the base made the decsision for her. She blew it up just to spite him and ****** him off. She can be a real vindictive **** when she wants to be.

Silmeria is a full on paragon. She would never trust someone who condones the type of experiments Cerberus performs, or someone who so willfully and callously throws other peoples lives away, and hides behind the claim that they are doing it for the greater good.

I suppose I could do a playthrough with one of the above characters and change them in to a Cerberus fan, but they're such a Scooby Doo villain of an outfit I dont think I want to.

I have a LI-related question.

Has anyone's FemShep "cheated" on their ME1 LI, yet you intend to try and get back with them in ME3 (or in the LotSB DLC or the undeniable upcoming Alliance DLC!  Hope you're listening, Bioware)

Only Hrist romanced someone in ME, which was Liara and I can't see her with anyone else, so no cheating femsheps for me.

@ Sentox6 - Saqw that on the dossier thread. Hilarious!

Paragon/Renegade

My canon Shep, UJ (and only Shep for quite a while) is almost 100% paragon through ME1, but she has been slipping to a more renegade style in ME2. She will use nonviolent means whenever possible to achieve her ends, but she'll let her opponent know she can back up her words of life, with words of death. She hates Cerberus and fought w/ TIM the whole time. She blew up the Collector base.

Erica is much more renegade, but softened up after she met Kaidan. Haven't taken her to Horizon yet, though. Erica doesn't have much use for Cerberus either, but she will give them one chance, only one chance. She'll probably want to kill somebody after Horizon.

Well, here's the link for something that's taken a couple of days to properly put together:

Katherine Elizabeth Shepard - Psychological Evaluation Report

As for whether or not Katie agrees with T.I.M... She doesn't.  She's working for Cerberus because they're the only ones who seem to be doing anything about the Reaper situation.  Everyone else is burying the reports or denying all knowledge.  So, whilst she doesn't trust The Illusive Man, she's willing to work with him and his group.  She accepted her Spectre status back as it opens many doors that would otherwise remain locked to her.  But, following the Council's dismissal of her claims, she sees it as a tool to be used.  She has nothing like the pride she took in being a Spectre during the Eden Prime War.  Part of her regrets saving the Council, but she knows that if the upcoming invasion is to be successfully repelled she'll need everyone on her side, and saving them should give her enough Brownie points that they'll help when they need to.
As for the Collector Base... Not sure about that yet.  My ManShep destroyed it out of hand, as it was an affront to his sensibilities, but Katie's a lot more pragmatic than he is.

And now, a wee pic of Katie fully armoured up on the Collector Ship:

On the subject of cheating on your ME1 LI and then trying to get them back and all.... I mentioned it in the LJ community these days. I gave LotSB a quick play trying to get back with Liara just to see what would happen. I LMAO when she said "Apparently Garrus is doing a lot more than calibrating the Normandy's gun". But then she forgot about it and acted like Garrus didn't exist. After that I called Garrus up and he was there like Liara didn't exist. Devs' lazyness again right?

I don't intend to see how that plays out in ME3 though, it was just out of curiosity. On my current ME1 playthough as an adept Aleja doesn't have any LI, but I'm not sure if I'll bring that savegame to ME2. I only went for Liara the first time cause none of the other aliens were available (specially Garrus... though I had no idea of his fanbase!) :P

Oh yes, this!  Jessica was terribly hurt after her embarrasingly awkward initial reunion kiss on Illium, and now she's come back with a gift that's better than two-dozen longstem roses, and Liara still barely gives her the time of day.  She was steaming mad from the time Liara ran away from her at the Dracon Trade Center up until the end of LOTSB, and didn't really cool off until Liara visited her cabin.  I imagine the kiss in the Shadow Broker's office to be a bit rougher than is shown onscreen, more like she's saying, "Dammit, quit pushing me away, you pigheaded stubborn asari!"  Only, you know, with kisses instead of words.
