One interesting point that I only just twigged when I loaded up the game today:  my FemShep reached Level 30 ages before my ManShep!  Is it a conspiracy to subtly show that FemShep is the best?  ManShep had to do the Firewalker missions and Overlord before he hit 30.  Katie managed it doing the vanilla game (+ Kasumi & Zaeed) before going on the suicide mission!

Did you finish the game first with any other characters? Who did you play first? The only thing I can think of is the 25% XP bonus from the Long Service Medal... otherwise, your guess is as good as mine.

FemShep is obviously superior though. She's the real Shepard, for a start.

That'd be it. The Long Service Medal is granted when you either complete ME2 twice with new characters or once with an ME1 import. All characters thereafter get a 25% XP bonus, so that'd be why your femshep levelled up quicker.

P.S. Is that the alt appearance pack applied to Garrus? It's pretty badass.

Yeah, that's the Alt Pack DLC for Garrus.  It does look bad-ass, considering that even his loyalty armour's got that hole on the RHS of the neck area...  Most irked when I discovered that.

And I did not know that.  Or if i did, I forgot.  I installed ME1 & ME2 on my new laptop shortly after the ME3 trailer was released, and had to do them all again, because, well, I did! :D

My FemShep's wearing a modded version of the modded version (by ELE) of the Jack Alt.  Which really works well, particularly on places like Omega, where the N7 armour's a bit OTT (in my opinion).


Currently working on original characters for the ME universe too!  A Z5 (Alliance Intelligence) operative, who looks suspiciously like my FemShep... :P

She's still not perfect (good thing Okeer's not around to hear me say that), but I think she's very, very good as a paragon-with-an-attitude kind of Shepard. (Haven't been able to bring myself to play her as a pure renegade, but I'm sure she's up to the task.)

As a bonus, she looks damn good with any hairstyle you want to slap on her. Image IPB

Awwwwww! That picture of Kaidan and Noah is so cute. And the gorgeous backdrop of the window in Shepard's apartment is very nice. Lovely work ELE. Maybe one day I can make a nice manip of Holly and Thane. It would be no where near the awesome that ELE can do, though.

Does this make up for Femshep-Sheploo abomination?

Oi, I had to play through Pinnacle Station to get the Intai'sei apartment screens though.   Blaaaah.
It's probably been asked before, but does anyone want a place for their femshep to live, like a house somewhere or an apartment on the citadel?

I love love Shepard's Intai'sei apartment.  If Teagan got a place of her own it would like that place.  She likes the desert climate, it's secluded (growing up on earth she's had enough of the city) and it's pretty sparse and bare bones which is how I would picture her decorating.  And there's guns on the wall.  The only exception she'd have is a giant closet.  She loves clothes, it's her one girly indulgence.

This place.  I wish to live in it.

I figure most Shepards would want to have a place to retire to. For Renee, I'm torn between saying Elysium, or Intai'sei. It's more after several very stressful years, everyone would like to settle down.

I think Holly views the Normandy as her home, but she loves nature and would probably like having a nice place hidden away somewhere. Preferably on a green garden planet where she can take scenic walks.

The apartment Shepard gets after Pinnacle Station would be a nice place for her to take Thane, though.  Sweeping vista of a desert, nice and secluded.  He'd probably like it.  =-)
