Gorgeous! As always! I especially like the one of Kallen. Noah and Kaidan look so cute, too.

So, this is my attempt at trying to be cool like ELE, Chignon and Mr. Vakarian:

I've been trying to make a new Shepard for a month. Hasn't really been working, I have a dozen abandoned Shepards lying in recycle bin hell. So since I just want to play, and got the urge to Soldier I made the brunette "evil" twin to my canon Shepard. Just switched her hair color and usual armor and voila. I'll just pretend it's an alternate universe where she's not a redhead and went renegade.
Pic Snip
Also, I only just thought of making the regular brown eyeliner darker through Gibbed. Definitely like it more than the super black smokey eyeshadow/eyeliner combo.

Thank you so much, Mr V! I really enjoy your "Noir" series and it's always a nice to wake up to such a pleasant surprise.

Yeah, and with breather it shades the visor area of the helmet neatly.Aislinn Trista wrote...
Actually, I think Ambient Occlusion looks pretty cool. I love the shading inside Trista's helmet in this picture:
To each their own, though. =-)

Well THAT'S disappointing. My Rhea femShep has gone from 4.5 in the faces database ratings down to 3-and-a-sliver. I thought she would be better liked than that.
If any of you have any pointers on how to improve her face, I'd welcome them. I know to a large degree it's personal preference, so I wonder what criteria people tend to use when they rate a face. Is it just "I like it / I don't like it, but I can't exactly tell you why" or is it based more on objective factors like realism, expressiveness, symmetry of features, etc.?
Maybe my perspective is skewed. Before I got into software development, I was a graphic artist and portraitist (it's a long story...). So maybe I'm not in touch with what most people want/like/expect.
Anyway... Open to anyone's thoughts here. Are there objective criteria for judging a FemShep face? If so, what do you think they are? Or maybe it's completely subjective. If so, I wonder if there are common threads. What characteristics do you like to see in a FemShep face?

For me: I, and only i, have to like my Shepard. I don't design my characters for anyone else. If they don't like it, that's okay. As long as i am happy. And i also don't need to have the "perfect Shepard", to be honest. There's always people out there wo don't like what you're doing.

I have the same issues with one FemShep. I've not only been fiddling with the looks (although now I'm happy with them), but I've been planning on changing her name for the third time. So, I might just make another, but change up some looks instead.
