Nice!  Very very nice!

And Tup3xi; why not Miranda 'Fine Arse' Lawson?  I took her on virtually every single mission; she is one of the most useful squad mates in the game.  Warp and/or Overload, plus Slam when it becomes available.  Couple that with Jacob 'the Priiiize' Taylor(squad incendiary ammo), and you're laughing.  Mostly.  Except that I swapped Jacob for Garrus 'Calibrations' Vakarian when taking down Geth and predominantly synthetic enemies (double Overload madness).

And yeah, I've got to agree with you ELE08, looking forward to getting that DLC for Miranda's armour.  And not just because I can put it on my FemShep.  It's as if BW have been listening to us complain about the lack of sensible armour for our squadmates.... ;)  When's it out again?

Same here.  Awesome show. :)

Oh, and a bigger version of the DLC pic:

na.llnet.bioware.cdn.ea.com/u/f/eagames/bioware/masseffect2/resources/assets/info/dlc/alternate_appearance2-01-o.jpg

On the face of it (it could just be the stance), it looks like it's not combat high heels!  Looks somewhat similar to the lower-half of Liara's suit from LotSB in fact... Hmm...

Yes, Miranda and Renee ended up being friends at the end. And I found that her and Samara were excellent for running with my Infiltrator.

wow, that's a good pic actually.
i'll buy it only for miri's armor (and i agree, combat wise, she's the best squaddie by far)
to bad grunt's outfit has brackets and visor ... wtf? he's the ultimate krogan, for crying out loud

Yeah, the only thing I'm not too hot on is the yellow-tinted glasses Miranda's got.  Does anyone know (I'm looking at you ELE ^_^) if it's possible to give outfits to squadmates in a similar way to our giving our FemSheps their outfits?

I notice that (as can plainly be seen in my avatar) the AltJack outfit for FemShep ELE created has no shades, so it's gotta be possible to remove said sunnies... Right?

Or am I getting it all wrong?  I could be wrong, and it might look ok in-game though.  (Yet another excuse to play through the game.  Will I ever get DA finished...?)

What do you want?  A steel loincloth and a bandoleer?

A Bowie knife between his teeth would be good, too.

@Timberley

I'm not sure if you can. I think I saw a screenshot once where someone turned their entire squad (including FemShep) into Miranda. Have no idea how they did it, though. All I know is how to swap models with Shepard.

After looking at that bigger screenshot...I really, really want to make a retex of Miranda's armor now... it looks great! I think Moira or Trista would totally rock that.

@Crash

I immediately thought of Band of Brothers when I saw that picture.  I LOVE that show.

Maybe he and Jack could switch outfits for a mission.  Someone lost a bet, maybe?

i want no visor and no brackets.... but if the outfit must feature something else, a machete or a steel baseball bat might be cool

Now that would be a comical DLC.  Add it to a Pirate Zaeed, and a Ninja Mordin , and you'd be onto a winner!

As for the BoB references, here's a class line:

"Another thing to remember boys; flies spread disease, so keep yours closed."

It was the best show ever.  Read the book if you can, it's fantastic (along with most of Ambrose's work).

Now, back on topic (ish).  How long after the DLC comes out will we get the first retex? ;)  I've already decided what I'd do with it...

This is Lynn Shepard, who has been on multiple playthoughs with me.

She is prolly 85% Paragon, and runs along the Colonist / Warhero line.

If I get the chance to mess with photoshop a bit I'll post up a few more images!. . .

Enjoy!

Nice.  She looks fantastic.  I like the pale, almost elfin features.  Definitely looks like a career military officer too!

I'm trying it out the day it's released.  I just hope it doesn't have the shoulder clipping issues Miranda's regular armor has (I'm hoping not judging from the picture.)  If not, it will get good use on Miranda.  I've got spare points just waiting to be spent.

Speaking of BoB a particular quote by Speirs always came to mind when designing a ruthless Shep.  Ruthless Shep has a reputation of being well, ruthless, among other soldiers that makes them wary of you.  I like my renegade characters to still be human, not walking talking cliche badasses, so I like to think my ruthless Shep embraces her reputation even if it's not completely true to who she is (which is a hardass and a soldier, but one with human motivations and feelings who actually cares about those around her.)

Anyways, love this quote and the series.

Ronald Speirs: You want to know if they're true or not... the stories about me. Did you ever notice with stories like that, everyone says they heard it from someone who was there. But then when you ask *that* person, they say *they* heard it from someone who was there. It's nothing new, really. I bet if you went back two thousand years, you'd hear a couple of centurions standing around, yakking about how Tertius lopped off the heads of some Carthaginian prisoners.
Carwood Lipton: Well, maybe they kept talking about it because they never heard Tertius deny it.
Ronald Speirs: Well, maybe that's because Tertius knew there was some value to the men thinking he was the meanest, toughest son of a **** in the whole Roman Legion.

I loved that quote, too.  Now I want to go watch BoB again... *gets out the DVD set*

So, I figured out how to adjust the intensity of makeup as well as the colors.

Must. Get. Looks like Kasumi, Garrus, Miranda, Grunt, Jack, Thane and Shep all have eyewear now.

Thank you!  And yeah!

I always hear Dropkick Murphys in my head when I think of her. XD I actually have a video planned with some of their music.

EDIT:
I saw them in concert not that long ago.  They were amazing.

@ELE, @Aislinn:  Dropkick Murphys are awesome.  I try to see them every time they're in my area.  That's Evie's "theme band", since I couldn't pick a theme song for her.  :P

ALSO, everbody!  I wrote something!  It's my first ever fanfic-y thing I've written, and I'm very nervous about it.  It's just a one-shot about FemShep's birthday.  I tried to keep it general so people could imagine their FemShep in it, but it's Delta so it ends up having references to Garrus and Kaidan romance in it, especially Garrus.

It's not supposed to be serious; I tried to write something funny and silly.  Please read it and let me know what ya'll think!  It's in my Bioware blog.

Here it is!

I like it a lot, it was cute. Especially liked the ending. Could very much see Grunt doing something like that, as well... haha.
